My husband and I came here looking for crawfish. We are spending a weekend in Brazoria and this was the closest with the best reviews. I'm glad we came the crawfish was amazing. They make their own garlic butter.!! If ever in the area we will be back

I'm sad we didn't take any pictures of the fabulous food! My cousin LOVES oysters on the half shell and she said they were the best she's had in a long time! The gumbo had just the right amount heat and plenty of sausage and chicken. My hubby really loved the redfish and I loved the fried catfish and shrimp combo. The manager came by our table and our server was very attentive.

Great place overall! Loved the friendliness of the staff as soon as we walked in, our server was very attentive, sweet, and a great conversationalist! on top of all that (what we were here for) the food was spectacular! They have a pretty big menu, so there's something for everyone but the main show for us was the flavorful seafood as well as the portions of the food they served! I tried the gulf coast shrimp and a cup of gumbo and it absolutely warmed my soul! They also offer different drink specials (Monday and Tuesday 2.99 margs) as well as different specials the rest of the week! Check these guys out!

Great food and the service that the manager, Ree, gave us was above and beyond. She has good suggestions on what to try and is very personable. We will be back.

We came in from a recommendation off beach front deck and bar because we want a good deal split between us 3. Me and my friends just wanted to have a good time because we were hit with the tornado in Houston and wanted to at least be hot on the beach and follow up with awesome seafood. We came to Jimmy Joes, like I said off recommendation of a bartender at a seafood restaurant and she told us to come here and while the food was fantastic, we approached a manager that was immediately nasty to our table. They ran out of snow crab and continued to try to charge us for what they are missing. She came to the table with the nastiest attitude. Ms. Ree, you don't deserve to work at a restaurant if you can't accommodate with your guests when you are lacking a product as a fellow server I will go out of my way to make someone feel comfortable. BUT on another note Skyla was the sweetest human, and she accommodated and was beyond polite with our requests and super attentive. Ms. Ree, I've dealt with managers like you. Don't ever make a table feel little because your company is lacking product they don't pay you enough to be that nasty about them xoxo much love and God bless your heart hun.

This is our third time to eat here and every time we had a great experience! The food is superb and the staff is awesome!!! Great Margaritas and seafood platters! Petra was very responsive and took care of us. Rosa, the manager made sure everything is good and even gave us complimentary corn bread and bday dessert! This will always be our Go To restaurant when we visit Lake Jackson/ Surfside! 5 stars for Jimmy Joe's!!!

First time taking my daughter here, though I've been multiple times. The food was great, especially the crawfish, which my daughter had. She also loved our server, Kelby, who was very helpful with the menu and was just an outgoing and friendly person overall. The setting was also very nice, since it was a hot day outside, the cool air cooled us down and made us feel calm.

A must stop when you are hungry or just want excellent personable service. My wife has shrimp po-boy and I enjoyed shrimp/catfish basket. Brie was fantastic host! Warm corn bread was outstanding. If in area again it will be a definite stop. Ron, Kansas City, Missouri

Finally went over to eat a bite. Lots of seating available. Saw our waiter twice, once to take the order, then she brought the order and it wasn't right. Food wasn't all that great, had high hopes. Oh well, we finally went and don't think we'll go back.
