Jimmy Changas

First time eating here, and I was a little surprised with how good everything was. Our server was what I consider great. There just enough and not too much. All of our drinks and food were great. Will definitely go back.

I've had so many disappointments with curbside order here last year but they came through tonight! Order was ready as promised. Everything was neatly packed and piping hot. The food runner that brought our food to the car was super friendly. Thanks so much, Diego for personally verifying my curbside order. Beef fajita family meal, queso, chips, green sauce and quesadillas definitely hit the spot tonight!

We came for a late lunch with family the day after Thanksgiving (it was around 2:30 and there were 6 adults and 3 children, at first were told it could be 30-40 minutes but only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated fortunately). We had 2 orders of the queso for our table, normally I'm not a big fan of queso blanco, I prefer traditional yellow chile con queso, but this was very good, would definitely recommend. I ordered the Jimmy's Deluxe, which comes on two plates, which is good because it's a lot of food and you wouldn't want to get it all at once. First plate is the beef taco, bean tostada, queso chip & guacamole, all very good, although I wish they hadn't piled SO much lettuce on the bean tostada, it's kind of a ridiculous amount of lettuce to have on that, plus it makes it very difficult to eat. The second plate was the cheese enchilada, pork tamale, rice and beans. The cheese enchilada was not something I would get again, I don't know why but there was just something off for the cheese flavor inside. The tamale was fine, nothing special. The rice and beans were good, but they do one of my least favorite things as a Tex Mex restaurant, which is put corn and carrots in the rice. My husband had the fajita bowl and it was very good, I tried a bite of it and I think overall I liked it better than he did. Again, my biggest issue with that is everything is in a bowl together, including the rice which has the corn and carrots in it, and it's harder to avoid that way, whereas with just my rice I could separate it out pretty easily. But if that's not a problem for you, then it would be a good option.I judge Tex Mex restaurants based on these things:Chips & salsa: 5/5 - I really enjoyed their avocado salsa they included as wellQueso: 5/5 - although not yellow, it was very goodCheese enchilada: 2/5 - weird flavorChicken enchilada: N/A, haven't tried but would in futureRice: 3/5: good flavor but hate having corn and carrots in it So overall I give it 4 stars for being very good and having some unique options, but not something I'd want to have regularly.

I have very positive experiences with other Jimmy Changas chains. But when me and my class were going to eat here after a field trip I was pretty happy but then I ended up waiting 45 minutes for my order. Then they got my order wrong, not to mention I got food poisoning. Later that night a green laser beam then came out of my body and alerted the Aliens on the dark side of the moon where I am and they captured me and harassed me jimmy changas I'll never be the same after this. I'm giving this two stars because I watched the movie Real Steel there it was pretty good tbh.

Was sooooo delicious. Ended up ordering 2 of this plate. Kids had a blast on the play scape and outside seating was nice and fresh. Our waiter was very accommodating and dinks where good

Great food and a great server. We sat in the back near the glass fireplace. The back has a beautiful blue ceiling with unique hanging lights.

I have to start off with this, I'm not the biggest fan of "Tex-mex." We ended up here after ditching g "abuelos" across the freeway. Right away the ambiance was way better and felt right. The hostess was nice, waitress was nice, food was pretty good. I had the rib-eye street tacos, wife had shrimp tacos and a frozen drink. I would give this place 5 stars, BUT for, the nasty restroom. I had to go, and was grossed out with the urinal. For some reason there was old dry blood spattered on it. Made me lose my appetite, there is no way the employees were unaware. When I walked in there was an employee using this same urinal. You would think this is something they would address rather quickly, not only is it gross, it's a biohazard.

They have the best waitress named Molly We need to go back but it's so far. And I need 85 characters

YES! Go here!!! We are traveling and it was our first time visiting Jimmy Changas. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so cool. We all loved our food and it's a scratch kitchen the orangescile margarita was amazing ! Robert was our server and he has kind and attentive. The only downside is that they aren't in Dallas!

If you've never had the pleasure of eating at this family owned restaurant it's a must. The outdoor dining gives off resort like type of feel, for a split second felt like I was at a resort in Mazatlán or Puerto Rico . Inside dining was nothing short of amazing . Restaurant is super clean and has a welcoming mixture of Spanish Mediterranean vibe . Service was on point we felt more like family than just a customer. We got seated right away, servers were super friendly , and since it was our first time dining here they were more than helpful with giving recommendations. We will definitely be back .
