Jens fish fry

Fish was fried & seasoned perfectly! The cashier told everyone who walked in what the wait was (at least 40 mins). Friday is their busiest day, which creates the longer wait. I ordered the family meal pack (10 pieces of fish, 10 wings, fries, hush puppies, and a couple of drinks. The wallpaper in the dining area states MADE FRESH TO ORDER. Pack your patience, but the food is worth it! Friendly, patient service. The less than 5-star review is strictly related to the long wait.

This was my first time at this restaurant, but not my son and his girlfriend. The employees are super friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food was delicious. They have a plenty of entrees to choose from and beverages. I had fish, and my family had steak or chicken bowls. We love broccoli, so we all chose that for our vegetable. We wanted to sit outside, since it was a nice day outside. It took awhile to get our food, but the wait was definitely worth it. They also have different kinds of cake. I chose pound cake and my family had pineapple. We will be back soon.

I took my daughter to the hair salon and needed a quick bite. I wanted seafood so I found this spot. Never again! The young lady at the register was not friendly. She barely greeted me. I placed my order and stepped out. There really wasn't much room to wait. Upon arriving back inside, orders were coming up. The same young lady yelled at a couple that their food was ready and they said "that's not our number." She said oh. The lady's order before mine was missing items and they didn't seem to care much. The gentleman next to me asked for ketchup and was informed they didn't have any. The young lady called my number, I acknowledged it was my good, she closed the box and kind of tossed me the food. I checked it. The food looked amazing. I asked for tartar sauce. They had that. I looked for seasoning salt and was informed they didn't have that. The ranch seasoning was limited. Then, they only had can sodas. Yeah, I won't be back!

Go ANYWHERE ELSE, but here. They don't have plain water. I got a bottle of their homemade juice... It taste like sugar with KOOLAIDE... NASTY!!!! Then I asked for a cup of ice. Cashier told me they don't have ice. I asked for water.... She looked dead between the eyes and said we don't have water. I asked for a cup, she gave me a cup. I went to the bathroom to get water. I wanted to like them badly. The only reason I have a two is because looks deceiving.After getting food, we requested salt. They did not have any, nor did they put any on the fries. The wings were good and the fried zucchini was tasty. I gave two stars because the food was decent. Customer service is a ZERO!!!!! Food gets a two. A restaurant that refuses water to a customer who pays over $30 for food should be sanctioned. Hi

Support this small, locally owned business over all the chain restaurants in this shopping center! I ordered the honey hot chicken tenders with fries. It was really good and a huge portion. I was able to sit inside and watch a Lifetime movie about Gabby Douglas, the American Olympian. The only thing I think would need a little attention is sweeping and wiping down the tables, but us customers need to be mindful to clean up after ourselves a reasonable amount since small businesses have a hard time as it is. Regardless, the food was really, really good and worth a try. I will come back!

Have not ate there yet but I like what I see. Cannot wait to eat there. I went there the next day to order, and that food was the bomb.com. I love it. I will be back there again. I have told everyone about it we all will be going there soon my family and I to eat for dinner. The guy that took over it was explaining to me how to use that machine to order hospitality. It was very nice. I really enjoyed everything from the time I walked in until the time I left out if you have not been there, you must go there and promise you will be back again, thank you CK Jonesboro, Georgia.

I only gave it three stars because of the location and they had dine-in and curbside service. I inquired about how they cooked their fish because I'm allergic to shellfish (which I explained). The cashier said "we don't cook shellfish in the same grease and shrimp is not shellfish". I said yes it is, she said it's not because it's already shelled and battered . Needless to say we walked out, I'm not willing to have to use my epipen or be rushed to the hospital over a piece of fish. I won't be returning that's for sure and I'm very disappointed.

I should give one star, but the young woman behind the counter was pretty friendly, and I did like the slightly sweet hush puppies, but everything else was meh. My fish was overcooked, swimming in sauce, my hush puppies were sitting in the sauce, and he did not make fries, even though the meal comes with fries. My sister's shrimp and grits were overcooked, AND there was hair in it, y'all, and it was not ours. Nasty! Bonus, the cook started shaking out the dining room mats, while we were eating. While we were eating! Sir, that's not how you season the food. LOL! But seriously, you go outside to shake out your mats, or, if you shake them inside (for some reason), you do that when you don't have guests eating in your dining room. I wanted to love this place, because the menu has something for everyone, but it was not good at all.

Terrible customer service. When you go in you will notice a dirty cooktop. You will also notice precooked fries & wings. They don't have any ice. I ask if I can get fresh fried wings. I hear & see cashier whispering to mgr of my request. He yells out-I JUST DROPPED THOSE WINGS. Mind you we were there standing about 5mins trying to figure out what to order. You should never yell out loud ghost arguing the customer. Mgr was also eating wings while cooking ours. I will NEVER RECOMMEND OR EAT THERE AGAIN. Didn't notice visible restaurant score as well. This place should be shut down. By the way, I threw my wings away. Couldn't trust this place.

I've been to Jen's Fish several times and the food is not really that good, but I won't be back. Ordered was placed and being prepared but the cook doesn't seem to own a belt. While he had on an apron that covered the front, nobody wants to see unclean underwear. His whole behind was out, please do better, but I won't be back.
