Had lunch at Jacks today with a few coworkers. The ambiance was great and the food was amazing! I had the roasted red pepper soup with crab and I enjoyed every bite. The chicken salad sandwich was flavorful with perfect Texas toast. We will definitely return again and again!

Went last night with a coworker and I'll likely not be back. Pros:- our food came out quickly (meal was done in about an hours)- drinks were tasty- our baked brie was delicious, albeit small. Do recommend- they do different butters for the day, we had cranberry butter. DeliciousCons (there were many)- I have lived in Baltimore for 7 years and find it personally offensive that a crab cake with red and yellow peppers and no actual jumbo lump meat, can call itself as such. 2 scant (4oz) patties with 2 sides (the risotto is misnamed, it was just gummy rice) for $35 is egregious lol- although they appear to have a full bar and an extensive menu, my server informed me that they only make drinks in the menu. That's boring imo- our server wasn't great. I def found myself wishing we had other servers based on how the other servers interacted with patrons (she was kinda cold to us, went missing when we wanted to pay)- creamed spinach was weirdly soupy For the price point, I expected way better food and service tbh. It's a cute spot for drinks with friends but nothing else

Upscale dining place with quality (albeit overpriced) food. The BBQ shrimp comes with this sauce that goes well with everything. I had their fried oysters (good texture and flavor) and penne pasta (enormous quantity wise for what I could handle). The pasta was creamy, and the penne had clearly soaked in all the flavor of the cream. Highly recommend! Service was fine, the tables seemed relatively empty right after peak time on a Friday night.

Came to Jack's for my birthday. We sat on the patio with fans, it was still very hot but we made it work. Ashley was nice, patient and knowledgeable. My party got a variety of entrees and had only good things to say! Will come again :)

The crab dip is the best I have had! Very comfortable atmosphere....including the bar. Nice outdoor Patio to eat on as well! Great food presentation !

The service was great, above expectations.I ordered a whisky sour... easily sub-par. Ruckus & Redemption is by far the best in the area... this was sad in comparison!The oysters I ordered as an appetizer were cooked perfectly but lacked flavor and the accompanying remoulade sauce was bland.My entree was a filet topped with crabmeat over asparagus with a side of mashed potatoes...The steak was cooked as requested (medium) but was otherwise bland lacking seasoning... even simple salt, pepper, and garlic.The mashed potatoes were also cooked as expected but bland... hand to ask for additional butter and added way more salt and pepper than should have been necessary... still was ordinary.The asparagus under the steak was the only thing cooked as seasoned as expected.I ordered a fried banana cheesecake and ice cream as a desert... it was at best ordinary... something I expect from a low-end national chain.My wife and I... $140+...We could have gone to any of the local national chain restaurants, spent less money, and had cocktails, food, and deserts as good or better.I'll give this place another chance or two but I'm so not impressed at this point.

Our meal was delicious! The dressing on the apple salad was a bit too sweet. Our server was so nice. The inside was cozy but sophisticated. The filet was cooked perfectly. We will be back!

Not a repeat! LOUD!!Our server was pleasant but could have been more engaging, and prompt, and disappeared when it was time to pay. The acoustics earned them a one-star. The food was so-so and not hot when it was served; not stone cold but certainly not an acceptable temperature. Now, about the acoustics, a family was seated as we were seated. They had a small baby and this was 12:30, lunch hour. I was lunching with a friend I had not seen in a while. We would like to have a nice lunch and catch up. The baby was not the main problem. When the infant whimpered, all 5 adults got involved. To make matters worse, 2 women came from another area of the restaurant and were so loud, plus the acoustics, that my friend and I were yelling to the top of our lungs, just to be heard across the table. Sure, I've taken babies to a restaurant but never at popular lunch or dinner hours. Consideration of others goes a long way! The restaurant would benefit from some sound barriers.We will not be back nor would any of my friends who ask for recommendations. pros: cute place nice menu great silverwarecons: very quiet and reserved waitperson ACOUSTICS!

Don't waist your time because you will waist your time getting waited on.One customer sat for too long. The customer finally was asked what he wanted to drink. He was never served what he asked for, so he left. Wouldn't you?After getting served a glass of water and much later getting a glass of iced tea, the waitress (R) said she would be right back to take the order. That didn't happen, Why you ask? The waitress took meal, or she said "hors d'oeuvres" orders for two separate parties that arrived after. Nobody wants to hear excuses My chicken entree was dry and the fried brussel sprouts are horrible because they were way over done. Customer service needs to be first priority. It certainly was not and needs help. When you mess up, apologize to the customer about your error and fix your mistake.That's customer service 101.

Tonight me and my boyfriend tried Jack's for the first time and we were definitely not disappointed at all!! Everything was great, the food, the drinks, the service, and the overall vibe, I loved the music they had. I had the shrimp and grits and it's definitely one of my favorites I've ever tried, my boyfriend got the 12oz pork chop with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and he finished his plate, which is rare for him Samantha took great care of us, even though her section got full while we were there, she still attended to all of our needs and never let our drinks get low, we will most definitely be back!! Sorry I didn't get any pics, it looked so good I just dug right in without any time to take pictures
