A beautiful breakfast joint that my husband and I have gone to for years. Yes, it may be a chain, but the coffee is hot, the food is good and the service is wonderful. My order switches between the crepes and the eggs Benedict. Both are so good! My husband usually gets a skillet and I sneak a few bites. Get there early to avoid a long wait, since this location is pretty popular. The parking deck is right around the corner. Then, walk off your breakfast in beautiful downtown Decatur.

Looking for breakfast or brunch on Mother's Day, our go-too restaurants all have lines out the door. We go around the corner and see no lines at J. Christopher's. There's a reason this chains reviews are 4.1 or below. We got seated and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the table was sticky, the hash looked like it was poured out of the can and warmed. The grits were good, but nothing exceptional or very tasty about anything we ordered.

The service was amazing but not really impressed with the food. The ambiance gave diner vibes . Parking was by parking app so convenient $ 3.00 for 1 hr.

The service here was very quick and the staff was friendly. The food is ok if you're looking for a quick sit down breakfast on the fly! My only complaint is that the bacon was pre cooked so instead of getting fresh hot bacon, I got lukewarm chewy bacon. I understand that some breakfast spots pre cook bacon in bulk so that they don't have to to keep making it to order...unfortunately it affects the quality of the meal :-( Besides that, I'd come back and try some other dishes!

Tina, my server, was absolutely the best. I ordered The blueberry crunch pancakes, and I was not disappointed. Yummy! Adorable spot and well by the locals. You can't go wrong here; it's all delicious.

The steak was cool service was ok and grits were cold asked for warmed ones they put it in the microwave which seemed a little otw just not fond of that and there portion size is horrible

This is one of the worst J Christopher's. They are always out of their vegan options. I wish they were better so I had a good place to eat breakfast and brunch.

We had a nice enjoyable breakfast on a Sunday morning. Got there around 9:15 and had choice of indoor or outdoor tables. About 15 minutes later the place started to fill up quickly. We both ordered coffee and waters. They give you a whole pot of coffee to refill at your table. My wife ordered the huevos avocado and I ordered the big bubba. Hers was a poached egg on a English muffin with mashed avocado. It came with an order of tasty black beans. Mine was biscuit with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. It was also very good. Our waiter was nice and was quick with his service.

When we arrived no one acknowledged us, we stood there wondering for a little over 5 minutes are we to sit ourselves or something wow in this day and age . I was not impressed with the food, I could do a better job at home

After several years of visiting I decided to write.The owners are unfair, they fired their best manager and chef because he had to wear a boot after foot surgery.I'm still angry, and now a grieving mom, Robert G. Eberle died on August 12th, 2023.Yes, this is bitter, employees watch your back.Bob was the one you sent to pull your failing restaurant out of the hole, he was a people person , always smiling. He did it! You lost or better yet fired the best employee you ever had!All because he had to wear a boot after foot surgery...
