So what I love about this spot is that's it's right across the street from my school. Love the atmosphere which is always inviting. Everyone that goes in here is an educator in the Latin community which is awesome. The food is good, is Puertorican food and it's located in North so there are a million spots around lol. The service was great bartender took care of everyone in a timely fashion.

I don't know how Christina (spelling) does it. I came for happy hour with some friends. The drinks were great and she kept them coming. The queso frito, salmon fritters and empanadas were sooooo good. This place is full of good energy. Definitely recommend!

It been like 2 weeks and I still can't forget about this horrible experience. First, I got a Groupon for this place and I completely forgot about it until literally the last day to use, and it been too long so I didn't really pay attention that i had the Groupon I bought must buy 4 entrees, it was my fault. So i had my stepdad who speaks Spanish to place order, he called the number they provided on Groupon, nobody pick up, then i had to look up on Google and see a different phone number. Then, he called and they couldn't understand the one i picked, they said they don't have it when it clearly on their menu "Pechuga De Pollo en Salsa Criolla - Grilled chicken breast in creole sauce", they told me to come to order in person, i had no choice, drove all the way in South Philly to there and realized they were a night club, not a normal restaurant. I had my dad to call them again to order because I really didn't want to go in such a crowded place, i told him to pick whatever they have so i will just pop in and pop out. So I waited 25-30 mins, i walked in all the way to the back through dancing crowd, showed them my Groupon and then the ugly thing happened, the first guy show me that I only ordered 2 meals and 2 desserts, I didn't understand at first, then I replied yea just me and my dad, i looked at the screen they even add one thing saying gratuity $10 more, i asked what it was he was like shsss then deleted it, then the second guy jumped in said he was the owner, explained my Groupon thing, then he said he can't give me the food for free, i said i paid I didn't give the Groupon for free, for the second he said that, i wanted to walk away already, my body was like turn to the way out a bit. He didn't let me go, he said it again and i again said i didn't get it for free, i paid the Groupon, and again he repeatedly said can't give me the food for free. I was just speakless because it was so humiliated, i said ok ok, then left. Yes, it was my fault to buy the one must 4 meals as they said, but it was horrible, he made me feel i was a stinky person in the world try to sneak in to have their food. That was wasted my time, my energy, and humiliation to myself.

Great little spot. The food is not expensive and is delicious. The owner is welcoming and the staff is courteous and helpful. I have gone a few times during the week and they always have good music.

Let me say first that I was expecting a typical restaurant , where I could converse with friends... not so much. This is a restaurant, bar and lounge. It's LOUD friends! The food is really on point though. My husband and I shared the Havana mussels, which were in a slightly spicy and very savory thin red sauce, and the ropa vieja, which was soooo tender and yummy. The portions are very substancial. The service was great. Really, who needs to talk!

So it's late night. I'm starving and so I hit yelp to find anything open. Surprisingly I found this place and it has really good reviews. I wasn't expecting much but I got a lot of yumminess!!!! I ordered rice and beans with avocado and chicken wings and I'm so happy I did everything was delicious. Thank you so much! Keep up the deliciousness!

I ordered tres leches cake, flan, and yucca fries from Izlas Latin Cuisine. It was probably the worst food I've ordered from any restaurant in terms of quality and taste. The worst part is that a few hours after eating about half of this food, I experienced violent and intense vomiting. This happened multiple times for the next 24 hrs, so it became pretty clear to me that I got some kind of food poisoning from their food. I would never recommend this place.
