I truly enjoyed my experience at Añejo. I went there on 8/25/24 with my girls to have a nice brunch. The food was delicious and tasted fresh, our server Gabriella was fantastic and I loved the ambiance. The three best qualities that stood out the most to me were 1. The the reservation option, Now! you will have to put down a card & I think they charge you something like $25 person if you don't cancel within a certain timeframe which was ok with me because I like to know that I have a table ready when I go out and not have to wait to be serviced, so, if you're like me you would see this as a plus too. 2. They called me to confirm to make sure that there was no excuses if any one in my party could not make it and 3. The bottomless mimosas was on point & didn't taste watered down; plus, the additional options besides your traditional mimosas made it even better. The option to either sit inside or outside was also a plus on a good temperature day like the Sunday we went allowed us to be comfortable & protected by their umbrellas form the sun. Be mindful when coming that there is STREET PARKING so what ever time you schedule to make sure you have time to find parking. I lucked up because it was a Sunday and someone pulled off right when I was coming down the street. I apologize for not adding photos of our delicious and well displayed food but I was not in a photo taking mood that day and didn't take one shot of anything. I will next time because me and my girls agree we like this as our new brunch spot.My only reasons for not giving a five star review this visit for 2 reason - No parking ( I understand the restaurant has nothing to do with Philly and their poor zone for parking lots)- Bill discrepancy - I did have a bill discrepancy a few days after my brunch however, the manager Jessica took care of thoroughly reviewing ever thing in a polite and professional manner and we did come to a resolution.

LOUD! The host looked like someone killed his dog and was forced into work. I had to repeat my order to the waitress several times; ONCE she finally remembered about our table. It took 17 minutes for chips. No guac, JUST CHIPS. The tables are made for kids in elementary school. So if youre an adult, expect to be seated in front of your elementary school desk. The food? The Skirt Steak: 10/10The yuca tots: -1/10The alpastor tacos: 8/10The margarita flight: 9/10The guacamole: 9/10Will i come back? No.Was it worth trying it for myself? Yes

Our party of 9 made reservations about a week in advance. All of us decided to do their premium brunch which in my opinion totally worth it. We were seated promptly at our time and asked for our drink order immediately. Then seconds later the table apps that came with the premium brunch came out. The guacamole TO DIE FOR!!!!!!I ordered the chilaquiles verde with steak. Talk about yum!!!! I demolished my plate. The waitress also ended up surprising our party with churros and sparklers for the bride.

Blown away by brunch at Añejo!! I had a remarkable time and didn't want to leave! It was a great way to spend my afternoon for brunch. Great jalapeño margarita! The Morning Tacos were fresh, hot and seasoned well. I appreciated the difference between brunch tacos and regular tacos (pictured with ingredients). The two I had were very filling but I left room for the Ahi Tuna Ceviche (pictured). The Ceviche was a light appetizer but very seasoned and well chosen snack. Amazing customer service from all the staff I interacted with as well as the manager. Special shoutout to Korina who was the bartender during my brunch visit! She had great recommendations, conversation and had such a vibe! The ambiance during my visit was truly energetic! A few groups were celebrating birthdays and the music was great! I asked for the playlist. Everything was clean, many windows and an outside patio covered & heated area.I will definitely be back!

The nachos and drinks at happy hour are absolute fire. Also shout out to the bartender who told us to check out last minute tickets at punch line. My wife got to see one of her favorite snl stars live for $25 tickets.

I really did like the ambiance of this location. The service was really good. My server was really kind and on top of our bottomless brunch experience. The food was good too. Sure, the brunch entree is small but you mostly fill up on chips and guac or French toast. I'd definitely come back and I'd recommend making a reservation and giving yourself enough time to find parking. Lastly, the drinks are on point.

I was pleasantly surprised by the brunch at Anejo! Their brunch option for $50 with bottomless drinks was a great deal! They give you unlimited Chips, Guacamole, and this orange hot sauce dip that was really good. They also give you unlimited French toast for the table along with an entree! Hard to find a better deal than that in the city. I got the Jalepeno Cheddar Biscuit as my entree which was pretty small but with everything else I was stuff anyway. I'd give it a 7/10. Nice time I would try the shrimp and grits since my friend got it and it looked good. I would definitely come back here for brunch.

My husband and I arrived here before 7 on Friday night so we were able to try the happy hour food and drinks. Guacamole was fresh with slices of fresh jalapeño, unfortunately the chips was a bit hard and stale. Elote was served piping hot, it was okay. What I like about this place is that you can choose to order either two or three tacos. I ordered two birria tacos served in a taco holder to keep the filling intact. The consommé was not flavorful and on the salty side. The beef was tender but lacked of flavor too. My husband had pork al pastor tacos and he enjoyed it.Flan was pretty good, presented in a big plate with a lot of caramel sauce around it sprinkled with cotija cheese. Service was excellent, definitely five stars for our waitress. She was attentive and knowledgeable. She could explain the difference between tequila and mezcal well.I like the beautiful chandelier, music was up-beat, nice place to hang out with friends.

Had a taco craving while in the city, so I swung by Northern Liberties to check some options. I have been to Anejo before, but tricked myself into thinking there might be something else in that area. WRONG! My senses led me right back to Anejo (I should have known better, lol). Anyway, I walked into the establishment and realized that I had just made it in time for Happy Hour. YAY! That made me really HAPPY! I quickly grabbed a table outside and began looking over the Happy Hour Menu. Now, I must admit, there were lots of options on the menu, which made me pleasantly surprised. You have $3.00 beer options, $5 wine options, and a mixture of cocktails. Additionally, you have 4 taco choices 5/6 other side order or appetizer choices. I can't remember them all, but I did go with the red sangria, fish taco, elotes, chicken empanada and rice + beans (regular side). The waiter brought out the fish taco first. It was small, but filled with a nice portion of fish and some sort of jalapeño slaw. Yum!!! The fish was flaky and the sweet heat from the slaw was perfect. Next, the rice and beans are probably my favorite side at Anejo. I don't know what they use to make them, but I could literally eat an entire bowl of rice and beans by myself. They are a MUST if you decide to try this place. Next up, my elotes. I felt the elote was tasty. I would have liked to taste more of the cotija cheese rather than the chile powder. I felt the powder overwhelmed the flavor of the elote. However, I still devoured it. Now, by the time I got to my empanada, I was completely full. So, I can't give a review of it this time. I did have empanadas during a previous visit and I remember loving the complex flavors of the chicken and green salsa at that time. Yesterday's visit just reminded me of why I keep coming back to Anejo and how much I enjoy my dining experiences there. I'll be back again really soon.
