Itálica Pizza Bar

Given that it's my favorite cuisine, it's only fitting that I close out 2023 with a review of an Italian spot. This chain came on my culinary radar when a foodie friend mentioned their gnocchi day on Friday 12/29. $25 got me all I can eat gnocchis with a variety of sauces. These appetizer size balls of dough and potato were served with shaved cheese and a variety of sauces. As for me, I tried and liked only their two red sauces: basic marinara (with a nice slightly Smokey flavor) as well as the bolognese with a decent spread of meat. They served as a yummy introduction to their menu.The special also included a $5 glass of catana Malbec, all fruity and with notes of mocha.Since I saw the pizza oven when I walked in, I knew I had to try. That they have Hawaiian pizza? Even better! Besides the classic toppings of real prosciutto, thin slices of pineapple and a nice helping of marinara sauce, Italica also seasons their creation with jalapeno. Some purists might not, but you my dear readers know this is my favorite kind of pie. Located in a strip mall, this location has free parking. There also spots in Midtown/ Wynwood and near Miami Shores I believe.

so thanks to Yelp. I found this Argentinian pizzeria. I was absolutely floored to experienced an Argentinian pizzeria however, I am in Florida, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. We are a margarita pizza, which took way too long to make although it was extremely good and fresh. I probably would've ordered two if I knew I was gonna have to wait about 40 minutes for it. the service was pretty good but I do have to say I wish the waitress was checking up on us a little bit more. She saw me eyeing her for when the pizza was gonna come out and she came over and offered us if she could get us any sides, although they weren't complementary,, so I said no.once the pizza came, we ate it really fast and it was really fantastic. We got the check and we were paying cash and I was really disappointed that the waitress gave us a $10 bill back knowing that we were going to tip her. I do not like when waitresses do this because I try and get themselves a higher tip. I had to stand up and go to the front to get change

I was here on December 29th as we were in the area for a family vacation. A friend told us about the gnocchi deal that comes around every month on the 29th! All you can eat fresh made gnocchi with several different sauces for $25 it is an amazing deal. And the food is AMAZING! I ate all the possible sauces and repeated (of course): ragu, italian, four cheese and mushrooms were the options. Oh and for dessert you also get a scoop of the best Argentinian ice cream Freddo. We went back there the following days just for the ice cream! For the kids we ordered a large pizza and it was absolutely delicious!

Picked up an order, ordered a large with olives jalapeños and onions. Was told it needed 15 minutes, got there and went down to pay. Got my text that my order was ready (it wasn't ready for another 20 minutes). Forget the wait. The charge for toppings was ridiculous compared to what I got. I don't think the business has anymore onions to serve. When I got my order it had 4 slices of jalapeño and a few olives. I told them this isn't appropriate for what you're charging me and proceeded to tell me if I wanted to add more it'll be another charge. I got home and had to pick out chunks of the onion that they decided to provide and by the time that happened it wasn't edible. Caesar salad was basic, they forgot my ranch.

Pretty good service and the food is delicious but I'm surprised about the big price increase in just 6 months. They recent changed the menu, added new items and the food is still good but the prices! For example my favourite Caesar salad with chicken was always 12$ but now it's 13$ and without chicken. Without paying attention I ordered my usual and thought they forgot to add chicken. Then looked in the menu - chicken is extra 6$. Little too steep.

The spot's aesthetics are pleasing, exceptionally clean, with friendly staff. The Margherita pizza, ordered twice, proved to be delightful--excellent thin pies that didn't disappoint.

We ordered from here on Uber Eats and sadly the driver stole our pizza. But, when I called the restaurant, MELANIE was of great assistance! She had them remake the pizza and the restaurant paid for an Uber to resend it to my house! The food was very delicious, we had 3 different pizza flavors and the pappardelle pasta with vodka sauce. The service is spectacular and we cannot wait to go eat at the restaurant one day!

I was in the North Miami / Aventura area running my Saturday errands and I was #monicraving some Italian food. (I really wanted to check out the new Italica in Midtown Miami but logistics were not on Midtown's side.)At first, this casual eatery's service did not impress. I was waiting to be seated for almost 20 minutes and the dining area was NOT CROWDED. As soon as my waitress arrived, my day was saved! Andrea's customer service was extraordinary! I ordered her recommended cheese ravioli and they were DELICIOUS! And to top it all off, a flavor I've never had before was a little scoop of their chocolate chip Dolce de Leche ice cream. AMAZING! As you can imagine, I'm looking forward to checking out Italica Midtown space soon (And maybe the one on Puerto Madero Buenos Aires in a near future). A- #monicraves

This is by far my favorite pizza shop in the area. The pizza is loaded with flavor and has great texture. The ambiance is decent. The service is inconsistent. Been there a few times and have had the same two servers. Have not been greeted with their names but rather a standard "welcome" or "hello". The younger blonde server is not very friendly. I highly recommend the server with brown hair and glasses. She is upbeat, polite, and kind!

This pasta was very good in both taste and texture and the portion was generous. I shared and it was more than enough
