Park Seo-ro-ji, where are you?(If you know, you know)Met bestie for dinner and drinks around 6 pm.Our server was Ethan. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. It's a cute, fun spot with K-pop music and decor and a photo friendly front. We ordered:Wings (6 pieces) a honey butter flavor- crispy and juicy, taste was ok but I would have preferred if we had gotten something with a little spice Brisket and tofu stew - lots of delicious brisket, onions, tofu, kimchi - there wasn't enough soup Seafood jeon - really nice, crispy, lots of seafood and flavor Kimchi pasta - my fave, creamy but not overpowering and just the right amount of kimchi Strawberry carafe - strawberry puree, soju, lime juice, soda - really good, taste almost like punch so be careful Banchans (free) - cabbage kimchi, Mac salad, potato Def a nice spot for food and friends. We didn't feel rushed. Prices were reasonable. Will be back.

Cool new Pocha spot that opened up in Houston's version of "K-town". The decor and vibes make it a great place to meet up with friends for drinks and food. The honey butter wings and spicy soy wings were delicious and had the perfect crunchiness that Korean fried chicken is known for. We love the crunchy and chewy rice cakes that come with the wings. The cheese boneless buldak was probably my favorite dish. It had a good kick from the spicy sauce but the cheese helped mellow it out. Where the meal really went south was the army hotpot. Please save your money and never order this. The "broth" was just a really really thick gochujang-like sauce. It was all heat and no flavor. We asked for more broth since the stew was thick and all they did was pour more of the thick "broth". It was not a good experience and none of us enjoyed it.

New little Korean soju bar-esque restaurant up in Spring Branch area. Had nice quiet ambiance for 6pm on a Wednesday when we went but believe it to be because they haven't been getting much foot traffic.Food overall was average. The corn cheese could have been cheesier. It was very buttery compared to other corn cheeses I have had that were more mayo-y. Our favorite dish was the rosé tteokbokki which had a nice kick and lots of flavor. Otherwise the wings could use more sauce and crunch and the bossam was pretty plain and lacking much flavor. The price of each dish was pricier compared to other restaurant's I have been to, making the hike to this restaurant from Rosenberg/Richmond area hard to justify returning to.

First off, type in google maps Buzz & Bites, easily missed because there is not sign YET, keep in mind they just opened at this point, its on opposing corner. Plenty of staff, great service. Decent seating, lots of tables that seat 4 or 6. Small spaces between table. when we went there was a large party maybe like 12 people where they combined the tables. We got honey butter wings, spicy soy garlic, I liked them both but the ttebokki that accompanied it was BUSSIN!!!! I ordered rosè ttebokki on the side, and I feel like it was the same base as the kimchi pasta, which is ok, but definitely share the ttebokki. I loved the kimchi pasta, because I love kimchi, and pasta. we ordered yogurt soju, and it came in a large carraffe with ice. its hard to take shots of soju with ice in it, if you know what I mean. I ordered a beer on the side because you know, chicken and beer right? the only thing I can think of that would elevate that would be a ice cold cup. that's normal for other places too right?take it easy on them because they just opened, and I actually wouldn't mind coming back again. cute photo op in the front with the mirror. and again, congrats on opening!!!!!

I love the casual vibes here! Great place to go to hang out, drink, and eat good food. They played current hits of KPOP that was not too loud. There is a lot of parking that they share with other vendors. The bulgogi fries were the best dish that we got and they were a good size portion and crunchy. The kimchi jiggae was smaller portion than we thought for sharing and we had thought it would come with rice but it did not (bowl of rice was $2 extra). It was not spicy at all and I wished it had more tofu. The unlimited banchan without extra cost was great!! I liked the honey butter chicken too and the chicken were on the bigger side. The server we had may be new because he would tell us somethings but it would actually be wrong later.

It's great that there's another Pocaha that opened in this area! Oneshot was starting to get pretty packed and hard to get into. Itaewon pocha has lots of seating and some private rooms which make it a great place to come drink and talk. There's no karaoke but in my opinion that's better because you don't have to listen to (maybe bad) singing. I will say the biggest complaint is the portion size and price for the food. I don't think the amount of food for the price was reasonable. If you want to get something with better portions, get their tteokboki and a bowl of rice so you can mix the rice into the sauce later. Bulgogi rice bowl was puny, as well as the kimchi pasta. Overall taste of food was not too bad!

Thank goodness we have a late night pub in the area now! (At least the first I'm aware of) when you enter you really do feel a sort of Itaewon vibe with the style of table and such. It's spacious while feeling cozy and clean. We are greeted warmly by the server who promptly brings us water and banchan and explains the bell system. It was late like 10-11pm when we stopped in so we just wanted some snacks with our drinks and ordered some wings and the bulgogi fries. DIVINE. It seemed to me like they may be associated with Krisp bc their wings were so good and came with little pieces of tteok. The fries were so addicting. This is def my new spot that I can't wait to show all my friends!
