Always a pleasure dining here. It is halal which is a plus for us! Its beautifully decorated and has a nice ambiance for a date or small group. The food is exceptionally fresh and the ingredients are top notch. I grow my own vegetables and I judge a restaurant based on its ingredients compared to my organic produce. They dont disappoint. Excellent service and friendly staff. Plentiful portions and variety of flavors. The mez is wonderful a starter and the shared platter is plenty for a group to share! 10 of 10.

The worst of this experience is I got a parking ticket. At least my car wasn't tow! Philadelphia Parking Authorities is relentless!Well onto the food and restaurant - there were 5 of us visiting the restaurant for the first time. The restaurant looks nice. We all ordered different dishes, except for D and J, who ordered the same lamb dish. They both loved their food and said it's very tasty. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and love them all. The servers were very nice and friendly too. Will go back again. Will have to park in a lot next time.

I love Mediterranean food but this place did not quite do it for me unfortunately. The service here was excellent but the food was not as impressive. Everything was okay but I wasn't necessarily blown away and the portions were also on the smaller side. My husband and I shared an appetizer and had our own entree each, yet we both did not feel satiated after the meal (which is quite rare for me). We ordered the following:Mixed meze - A small taste of 6 different dips on the menu, all of which were good but not phenomenal. Our favorites were the eggplant and acili ezme. The serving of pita was also quite small and not enough for the quantity of dips.Lamb chops - The order came with 4 surprisingly very thin lamb chops (pictures can be deceiving), rice, veggies and salad. The lamb itself was tender, well seasoned and had a really nice charred flavor. The remaining sides were a bit bland. Would recommend ordering this but be forewarned that for $34 I was not satiated.Chicken kabob - My husband was not a fan. The chicken was lightly seasoned and the sides were similar to my lamb chops entree. A few pieces of chicken were rubbery/inedible, perhaps borderline undercooked.

Foods & service was amazing! The place is very cozy and warm. You would think it's small from the outside but as you go further in there's big space for a large party.

Dinner for 3.- Ambiance (5*)Neighborhood Turkish place is the vibe I think they're going for, and it plays the role. - Service (4*)Super friendly, albeit occasionally forgetful. - Mixed Meze, $20 (5*)6 different sauces to mix with really good pita. Each had its own distinct flavor. Alternating between the spicy Acili Ezme and the soothing Haydari was heavenly. - Manti, $22 (4*)The dumplings themselves were great. I personally would have preferred just a touch more red pepper oil to balance out the tang from the yogurt. - Isot Mix Plate, $120 (4*)What more can I say but a carnivore's delight? Of course it comes with a side of bulgur rice, Antep salad, and sautéed vegetables, who themselves were really good. Most of the meats were chargrilled to perfection. The lamb chop was great. A couple of the cuts were a little drier than I would have liked, but it was a quite the meal. - Baklava, $5 (5*)Excellent little squares, not to sweet. Just the right amount of flake. - Value (4*)Although I think the manti was overpriced, the portion sizes for the meze and the Isot Mix were really generous. In addition, they provided, on the house- a kind of cinnamon-tasting cold drink and an appetizer. I don't know if it's because I said thank you in Turkish or if it's because we ordered a lot of food, but we were very appreciative! Teşekkürler!- Final WordA really positive experience. Never been to Turkey but been a fan of several Turkish dramas. Felt like I was in one of those TV scenes. Enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food. Will surely return.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. I came here with my mother tonight and we both really enjoyed the food. We had the veggie Delight, hot hummus, and spinach and feta pie. All of it was very delicious and I have to say the waiter was especially nice and helpful when it came to picking our meals. This has got to be one the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to in philly. Highly recommended.

10/10 for the service and food! I have been here a few times before for dinner but unfortunately never wrote a review. We went on Saturday night to just have desserts - ordered the Kunefe and the Oven baked Rice pudding. Both were DELICIOUS! Sorry no pictures this time, we couldn't wait and dug in as soon as they were served. I can very well see it becoming my go to place to get dessert.

This place is AMAZING! I ordered Adana Kebap and it was served with extra side dishes, like salads, pickles, and kisir, as well as with a home-made sherbet, a traditional herb-based Turkish drink. ISOT is the best Turkish restaurant that I have visited in the US so far. The food was authentic and reminded me the taste of home--I'm originally from Turkey. The server was very friendly and kind. If you are looking for Turkish food or something not American cuisine, ISOT is the place that you should definitely visit.
