This has got to be my favorite vegetarian restaurant in the Triangle. Up there with Fiction Kitchen, however, I'll give the edge to Irregardless. I like that there was no loud and deafening music, although, I was listening to "El Dorado" by the Golden Highway and Molly Tuttle on the local bluegrass radio station outside the restaurant (it's a bluegrass song that former Californians can relate to).Their menu is seasonal and about half of it is ideal for vegetarians. What I liked the most was the flavorful red pepper sauce condiment. You have to ask for it. The side of potatoes was bland and flavorless without it.

Parking: nearby, but there was some construction going on the side so it was hard to find at first and the road was narrow to get to it. Food: for the appetizer, had the fried zucchini with lemon all sauce was really delicious and a great light start. Then the Shepards pie was a vegan version and was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. was a great twist on the classic shepards pie. Service: Service was really great and our waiter explained the specials and gave suggestions. He answered all questions we had and really knew the menu/dishesAmbience:It was cozy woodsy type feel on the inside. Plenty of seating

Stopped in to have brunch with a friend the other day and was extremely satisfied! The hostess was super kind and polite, and then my friend and I sat at the bar. The bartender was FANTASTIC and was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. My friend and I both had the goat cheese omelet and it was SO good! The goat cheese was so fresh and melted perfectly with the egg and spinach. Nice chill spot and had good music playing at a perfect level. Will definitely return next time I'm in town!

The food here is so good. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients, and all portions were pretty big. Service was great and even while busy the food came out pretty quickly which we appreciated bc we were starving! Would come back again - so many of the brunch dishes looked great.

Came back and I'm still a fan of this cafe. It has a fairly chill vibe, love the live music, and the servers are attentive. The salmon was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the seasonings. My company also enjoyed the chicken mole. And the tiramisu was surprisingly good. I would have liked a bit more of the coffee flavor to balance the sweet, but I'd order it again.Great place for a date night, highly recommend.

Atmosphere: Irregardless has a welcoming and lovely environment, perfect for a weekend brunch. They also had live music when we visited, which added to the positive, lively experience. Service: Our server was friendly and patient as we asked different questions about their menu. The food also came out quickly. Food: We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Brisket Hash. Irregardless has some delicious Shrimp and Grits! The sauce was flavorful but not too salty -- it was creamy with notes of tomato. However, the dish got a bit too watery towards the end, and it could have benefitted from having more grits to soak up all the sauce. The Brisket Hash was good but did not wow us. The brisket was a little bit on the dry side, and it was rather plainly dressed with potatoes and eggs. For dessert, Irregardless kindly served us a Berry Clafoutis with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream, on the house for a birthday celebration! Unfortunately, we weren't very impressed with the dessert. The berry clafoutis itself was sweet and fruity, but the vegan ice cream tasted oddly synthetic and did not go well with the pastry.Overall: We enjoyed coming to Irregardless for a birthday brunch. The friendly service, live music, and Shrimp and Grits made for a memorable brunch; however, the other aspects did not impress us as much. We hope to come back and indulge in their Shrimp and Grits again, along with some of their other options!

I can't believe I've lived in Raleigh so long and have never been to Irregardless. I recently went and was able to enjoy their outdoor seating. Service was friendly, but since we were on the end of the patio it was slow. We didn't mind though! I shared the grilled peach salad and blackened salmon. Both were spot on! I'd certainly order them again. I loved the grilled asparagus and risotto sides that came with the salmon. For dessert we shared the chocolate hazelnut silk pie and the early grey tea ice cream sandwich. The silk pie was the clear winner for me. It was pretty amazing!! Even the crust was tasty, I wouldn't have known it was gluten free. Highly recommend saving room for dessert. The love keyboardist was also a nice touch, especially on a Tuesday night!

The service at Irregardless Cafe is impeccable. From the greetings and warm welcome from the hostess and when I sat down to dine with others. The restaurant gets really busy for good reason. Our waitress was pleasant and asked for food allergies and accommodated without an issue. I had the shrimp & grits, a side salad, and a cocktail. I enjoyed the sleepy thyme cocktail. I only needed one! A live guitarist was playing and that was a nice addition to the ambiance. I felt at home and it gave all the country and southern vibes. The menu has a variety of items including vegan options. I've read other reviews about struggles to park but the parking was effortless for me. Plenty of street parking and there is a lot behind the construction site, as mentioned on the restaurant's website.

Came here when visiting my brother, and will definitely become a staple when we come back to the area! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the restaurant itself is cute. The food was fantastic. I got the goat cheese salad to start. The flavors of the maple candied walnuts, with the beets and craisins, with the creamy goat cheese and lemon dressing worked so well together. Had the lamb shank with grits as my main. Delicious! I love that the menu clearly marks which items are vegan and gluten free, as my sister-in-law who is vegan could easily order without having to ask about each item. There are also so many vegan options, and so many gluten free options! Definitely does not feel like you're having to pick between the 1-2 "safe" items. Oh, and I'm not usually a drinker, but the Sleepy Thyme cocktail is SO good!
