In the Zone Sports Bar & Grill

Stopped in for brew after a long work week. It is a place where regulars feel comfortable, but all are welcome. There are more TVs than you can count and you can even get your gamble on if you are so inclined, hello sports betting. This place has to be lit on Superbowl Sunday! There are tons of beers on draft to choose from while old-school rock jams blare loudly around you. Anyone remember Europe's 80s power ballad hit Carrie? It is a large venue and I imagine it could get a lil cray late night. Think fireball shots and poor choices. :) A lovely bartender named Jen waited on me and made sure I was taken care of. To note: if you play by magic plastic you are required to have a min of a $20 transaction.

I'm not really sure how you can royally mess up nachos but they sure did it.First off they were severely understaffed for a Friday night and our high school 30 year reunion. As a business if you know you're going to be busy and have a special event then you need to staff for it. There were 2 bartenders for the entire restaurant. It took us almost 20 minutes to get a few drinks and order chicken nachos. About 30 minutes later I saw our nachos come out (while our bartender had already tried to bring us chicken wings we didn't order) and then sit on the back bar getting cold for about 10 minutes. By the time the bartender finally acknowledged our nachos and brought them to us they were cold, stale, dry and hard. My one bite I tried was inedible and had to spit it out. We immediately returned them and got a refund for the severely overpriced $25 nachos ($6 for a side of guac is ridiculous).Needless to say it ruined our evening as we were planning on having dinner there for my reunion but was starving so we had to leave and miss the reunion. We will never ever go back there. Worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. If I could give zero stars I would.

Stopped in here to day for lunch after spending the early afternoon at the train museum right down the street. We were immediately met be a restaurant that was clean, spacious, well lit and friendly. There was plenty of same close on parking. Our waitress was a beautiful and friendly woman named Reilly. She was on top of everything. We got our beer, which was cold, within two minutes or ordering it. Then came our pretzel stick appetizer that was and yummy. The cheese and the brown mustard for dipping is classic and perfect. Ten minutes later. Our meals showed up. A bean burrito, a Tex burger and a Teriyaki burger. All the food was hot, fresh and tasty. Reilly continued checking on us until we were ready to leave. This was a top notch experience for location, food, price and service. Thank you Reilly for the first class service and effort.

I can only imagine how fun this place was before the Covid lockdown. It is a huge space indoor and they have a large outdoor space to accommodate many tables of people. The day that I was there they had a band that was so fun.It is very costly to put up outdoor tents and heaters to appease the out door dining of the government regulations. Now they are CLOSED AGAIN! I fell sad for the Hard working American people that have put their life savings, and their blood into this industry trying to provide for your family to only have their dreams turn into nightmares.I WILL GO BACK AND I CAN'T wait to see;MontyCodyIdentity crisis (band)

I was really surprised at how big this place was! It's totally decked out in sports gear and has TONS of tvs. Love that they have pool tables too. We sat at the bar for drinks and had good service. Tons of different beers. We will be back for sure.

Hands down my favorite place in Golden I got there all the time. I can not go for a few weeks and the ladies at the bar always remember what I ordered and Have a smile Love it love it love it

What a wonderful place! The atmosphere is amazing and friendly! Staff is so attentive and sweet! Food is on point! Feels like home!

Waited 40 minutes for my food over lunch only to discover the waiter forgot to put my order in. Ended up, leaving with no food and the waiter told me next time I should do a call and order. Terrible service will not return.

Music was great. Drinks were average. Food was blah! Don't order food. Whoever reviewed that the food was excellent must not have taste buds. It took 45 min for our food and People who arrived way after us got their food much faster. The waitress literally came out and said "the kitchen is still defrosting your chicken, so it'll be a bit longer." I had ordered a dinner salad with chicken. When it finally arrived, it was the worst and I mean the worst chicken I have ever tasted. Dry, flavorless. Trust me please. Don't order food here. Super bad and I had waited all day to eat something.

We love to grab drinks and the food is amazing. The atmosphere is great. Service is great!
