Huynh Restaurant

This was a tasty spot! A few friends and I checked it out on a weekday evening. I was excited to taste authentic Vietnamese food as I have not tried out too many places in Houston. The restaurant was spacious and in a nice pocket of EaDo I haven't visited before.We were seated quickly and opted for fresh rice paper to share, and I ordered the #70 noodles with vegetable, chicken, pork, beef, and seafood. I opted for soft wide rice noodles. The rice paper was very tasty and a unique experience for me! I would probably order it again with a group like ours (5 people). My entree was very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of all the different proteins. I liked that they gave a large portion and substantial amounts of the proteins. I will say that the sauce was very tasty, though not as different or unique as I was hoping for. I would order this if you are looking for something universally likable and non-spicy. My friend ordered the #90 noodles with broth which I tried and found quite tasty! The soup was hidden at the bottom which was nice for tasting the different textures within the soup.Our servers were gracious and very attentive. I would be open to coming back here, though I would probably be a bit more adventurous next time!

Wonderful and Affordable Vietnamese restaurant!!! Delicious food, awesome and attentive staff, and the ambience is very modern vibes. They have a large menu to choose lots from including my favorite the PHO! :DI can definitely say this place is truly authentic Vietnamese.Highly recommend to anyone in town or even if you're a local!

Although a busy restaurant it was not noisy, and we were seated quickly and our service was spot on. Our appetizer, Goi Vit (pulled duck) was definitely a 5 star rating. It was fresh and delicious. Our Pho ( I had tai, chin and gau and hubby had meatball) was just above average. Our dessert, flan, was good, but nothing special. We will be back, to try different dishes, which in the opinion of one of the servers, after the fact, are more tasty than the pho.

The coconut curry is the winner for this spot! Now that I've had it, it's hard to order anything else. I was on the fence about adding broccoli, but I don't think it added much to the dish. Medium was the perfect heat level for me. The smoothies are a must-try!

Delicious food, great service, clean and tidy, waitress where amazing, patient and helpful.

One of my favorite Viet spots. Great for to go as well. Customer service is amazing and the food is always fresh. I love the pork spring rolls and combination pho. The broth is soooo good. They have a parking lot. Closed between lunch and dinner so check the hours. Try the lemonade soda - it's addictingly good!

Truly located in the heart of downtown Houston so there's limited parking. It depends on the time of day you come because there could be a wait or you could get seated right away. They have a whole other section of the restaurant that is just for the waiting lobby which is odd since I figured they could've expanded to add more dining tables. It doesn't have the same vibe as a Vietnamese restaurant you would find in Chinatown but rest assured, everything is still authentic. I've tried multiple dishes overtime and I can't get enough of this place! My favorite would probably have to be the bowl of pho because you honestly can't go wrong with that. The soup is so savory it'll just warm your insides. The noodles are cooked to perfection and the meat always hits!

Who is great I just reasonable. Friendly people. Place is nice and clean. I had egg rolls, chicken and rice. Very good.

On the Houston "snow" day of 2024, this was the perfect place to warm up! It was our second time coming, but first time for lunch. We eat a lot of Vietnamese food, but even after two meals here, it's our favorite. The wait staff are always kind and know exactly how to describe the dishes and flavors. They always suggest something exciting and even ways to modify or upgrade the meals. It's a spot you should really come to if you're in town, and if you live here, it's a place you need to go out of your way to try. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped by with a friend who has Celiac's. They were very accommodating letting us know everything that was gluten free as well as how they could make certain dishes gluten free if they were not. Therefore there were a lot of options for my friend making it a really nice experience, as well as options we could all share without fear of gluten. Other places we visited were not nearly as accommodating. I already love going here, but I thought I would mention this extra plus!They have a large menu with a lot of options that remind me of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant back from my home near D.C.
