Bathroom 1/5: Try at your own risk.Dining Area 1/5: The seats are worn out, the tables are wobbly, and it is cleaned regularly but they gotta do better. My keys can literally get lost in the exposed cushion if I move the wrong way. The outdoor patio area is decent but honeyyy this is Houston, the humidity capital of TX ain't nobody sitting outdoors unless we absolutely have no other choice.Customer Service 4/5: I'm a regular here. I've been coming here for about 5 years. The ladies are always nice, and attentive and they work very hard too so I try to avoid bothering them too much. The cooks look clean and the staff seems to work well together.Food 5/5: I ordered a Farmer's Deluxe substituted chopped beef with spicy/homemade sausage.Price 4/5: I paid a total of $15.05 and although there weren't any contactless pay signs anywhere, this location does accept Apple PayVibe 5/5: Its got that familial TX BBQ home feeling the moment you walk into the patio area.Overall Score: 20/30. There's plenty of room for improvement.

When the locals all seem to go there, that's a good sign! And it was!Great food, pretty fast, clean location, with optional seating outside under cover. Cost is surprisingly low, and the options were many. Definitely a do-again.

Hungry Farmer has great Baked potatoes and great macaroni and cheese their ham is good also.

Small spot, but food is not bad. Tried the beef potato and and the chopped beef sandwich. Not bad here but had better! Place to come when every other place is crowded, you can get in and out. Reasonable prices here too.

One star is too much!! If it's a bbq place how can they serve a plate without it?? Every time we go get something I have to go back n get the damn sauce!! I didn't this time!! The cashier who took my order add a note saying no bbq sauce when I asked her for extra to avoid the drama!! I didn't get my receipt until I got my order n it was in the bag!! My mistake was not checking my food!! I hate this place now!! I can't believe with everything going on they still doing the customers like that!!

Upon getting back from our cruise & having some time to kill we asked a local where they recommended to check out & Hungry Farmer was their top suggestion.The menu is a little overwhelming but in a good way. They have a little bit of everything it seems.I was interested in getting the fried pork chop steak but unfortunately it was part of their daily specials. However, their daily specials are strictly sold on the days listed .I decided to go with the Oxtail plate that was another special. What it looked like in the picture & what I got were completely different. There was way more oxtail than I anticipated & that was great!I wasn't too happy with the mac & cheese as well as the sweet potatoes. There was so much food I wasn't able to finish in one sitting to I was definitely able to take some home for dinner as well.I want to come back one day to try the pork chop

Absolutely the worst BBQ place I've been too. It baffles me that this place stays busy and even have lines out the door. I got the 3 meat plate in which I chose spicy sausage, brisket and pork ribs + beans and jambalaya rice. Right off the bat when I opened my box the sausage didn't look right. The texture is off and it didn't even hold it's shape. The taste is absolutely disgusting. It has the meat loaf texture and taste like old dog food. The brisket was fatty and has no flavor. The ribs was medicore and the meat does not fall off the bone. The beans and rice were meh. It didn't taste fresh..For $18 I rather go eat at subway next door and EAT FRESH. I ended up throwing away half my food although I hate wasting food. It just wasn't edible and hated every bite.

The food is great, one of the best BBQ we ate in town. The service is good, but the ambiance is average

I would not recommend this place at all. This is the most BLAND food I've ever paid for. I ordered the 2 meat plate, and the brisket has no taste at all yet very tender each slice was the exact same size no flavor taste like it came in frozen never been near a bbq pit the turkey meat taste like Oscar Meyer lunch meat they drizzled watered down bbq sauce over it the Mac n cheese was creamy but no taste the green beans had too much going on with carrots and what look like zucchini The only good thing about this place is that they give you a lot of food for the price but too bad it doesn't taste goodI do NOT recommend it, and I will NOT return

This is not barbecue it's not even oven barbecue. It is some something I'll tell you that but I will not be returning. The service is good. The atmosphere is cool. And country but nothing there is working in my opinion.
