I believe my son and I got food poisoning from this restaurant. We have been ordering and going there for many years. I ordered from there, Monday night, I woke up Tuesday night, throwing up, had diarrhea for the next 2 days. My son ordered from there, last night, Wednesday, woke up this morning throwing up. Beware, I think some food was mishandled or not cleaned good enough. Very disappointed.

Called in an order and after I gave them the order the person on the phone decided they were not going to do delivery with no apology! If they offered any reasonable excuse then I would understand but just seem to decide on the fly not to do it. We always tip very well about 20% for delivery and order at least 50 dollars worth of food at a time so not really sure what his problem was so will never order again after we wasted our time choosing what to get and calling in the order just for the clown to decide they were not going to do delivery and from a Chinese restaurant!Used to be great when the original owner was in charge she was always very nice and knew how to run a business. We miss her but the new owners are totally incompetent.

I have been ordering delivery from Hunan for nearly 20 years. We order about once a week. It's always delicious. There's regularly confusion on the phone when you call in an order and sometimes they're curt and seemingly unfriendly. But they're ultimately very friendly and dedicated to good service. Just order online and enjoy!

Didn't try the Chinese food just got the tofu ban mi.As this is a Chinese restaurant im sure their Chinese food is on point. Tofu Banh mi wasnt bad. Lots of tofu to fill you up and heavily packed. Garnished with carrots and I believe a cucumber. Not as flavorful but hot sauce will fix it!Over nice ambiance inside and a cute patio outside. Very good price too. Banh mi for 2.50-try beating that

Not sure why Hunan Village had an overall 3 star rating. We have not dined in the restaurant, but have ordered delivery via Grubhub several times. The menu offers a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the food is always hot, nicely packaged and delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented with very fresh and colorful vegetables. One substitute from traditional Chinese cuisine is the substitution of jicama for water chestnuts, which adds a nice crunch and sweetness. Shrimp are large and plentiful. The sauces for each dish are perfectly seasoned.

I have been coming since I was 5 years old! The food is always fresh and quick to come out the kitchen. The servers are always very friendly and welcoming. They even remember each of my family member's orders because we come so often. Dining in is always peaceful and quiet. Very clean and welcoming for big parties!

Ordered takeout for two egg rolls and the Four delights of kung pao which comes with beef, shrimp, scallops and chicken. Opened my takeout box and immediately noticed there were no scallops so I went back to get them. The host / server went to ask the cook which he replied there are no scallops, the cook should have informed other staff before people order a dish with scallops. The host / server was extremely helpful in offering to replace the dish which I declined. Chicken and shrimp were good but the beef was super chewy and the egg rolls were actually spring rolls
