Hu Tieu Hong Phat

Different style than phanh ky, but still so good! Broth was flavorful but not too salty. The ingredients to the hu tieu were fresh and tasted clean. Service was quick.Restaurant looked semi run down, but not dirty. Will definitely be back

Yummy noodles and a hot soup for a cold day. Always love the way they prepare the dry noodles that comes separately from the pork bones soup. Highly recommended!

The noodles here is alright. Service is mediocre. Not the cleanest, the meats taste a bit synthetic and the soup is a bit salty. Not the greatest.

Plenty of seating inside. Service leaves a little to be desired, though. Our waitress kept giving us attitude while we ordered and looked like she didn't even want to be there (honestly can't blame her bc who wants to work, but honestly...). The dry hu tieu was below average and flavorless. It comes with a small bowl of soup that is very salty and tastes kind of gamey; it has some oxtail in it. Also, the "small" portion size is ridiculously small. For $10 you basically get less than half a bowl of food, 3 slices of meat, 1 shrimp, and 1 quail egg. If you think you're saving money by getting a small, do yourself a favor and pay the extra dollar for the large. Or, better yet, go somewhere else for hu tieu.Won't be returning. My money is better spent elsewhere for bigger bang for my buck.

Hong Kong... might end up more like Hong Phat.Another amazing place for Vietnamese food in Houston and there are so many! Come here for the their signature dish, which is amazing, and it definitely rivals Phanh Ky as the best one around.We're both big fans and we'll probably be back here on many occasions.

Simple, cheap, and amazing food that is a great substitute for pho if you ever feel the need to change it up a little bit. The owner truly cares about you when you're dining with them. He has football on on most sundays if you're afraid to miss any games on a hungover Sunday morning. The restaurant is usually quiet but busy. I'd give them a try because you deserve to taste what they got.

Love love love HU TIEU here!!!! It's taste like my childhood hu TIEU place in Viet Nam. Service is a bit slow but it's okay!!! The food is what I coming for.

Stopped in here based on reviews since our usual place is closed on Tuesday. First impression was the wait was so long, although there's 4 tables including ours. I believe the wait was 40 minutes seated at the table with orders already placed. With such a long wait, you would think the food was spectacular but it was ok. Flavor was missing a bit, I would say same for texture and the liver was too chewy. I wouldn't consider this was my favorite spot.

Go to place for hu tieu! Their broth is so flavorful and the organ meats they use are always fresh tasting! I love it both dry or as soup noodles. For soup noodles, can't go wrong with the thin egg noodle option. For dry noodle, I would recommend the clear noodle or mix of clear and thin egg noodle! I also always load mine up with the garlic and pickled chilis they have on the table. The meal is so easy to inhale hence why so many reviews mention the small portion. If you're ordering hu tieu dry, I would suggest getting a large. As soup noodles, I think small is just enough! Get the fried bread sticks! So good for dipping in that flavorful broth.

Food was okay portion for a large was very small service is poor came with my daughter ask to be moved to a different table which was fine but to take everybody else order first when we was there waiting for 10 minutes that was good enough to kill the vibe won't be back Your food can be good but if your service is like sh.T it kills it all. I never write reviews but I feel this problem needs to be issue I have no problem paying for good food and service I take my money else where customers are appreciated.
