Veracruz Bakery

I was glad I got lost coming back from the airport, on my way home looking for a grocery store. I saw the sign of a very attractive little bakery, since my family loves sweets and good breads I decided to check it out. Once I entered the place, gosh smells like heaven on earth, not only they have the best Mexican bread I ever had, but the Tamales are awesomely delicious. Thank you to great service, the lady attending sorry didn't ask her name. She's great.

I was on the lookout for some pan dulce (sweet bread) and was really disappointed by the quality at other stores nearby. I decided to search around and found this small bakery, and I'm so glad that I did! The bread is really fresh, and it tastes delicious! I got an assortment of various cookies and breads and it came out to $5.50, which I felt was a bargain. The "cuernitos" were my favorite, they were light and subtly sweet, and even the ends (which are typically a little too brown at other bakeries) were soft and delicious. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Pastries were delicious and fresh. Decent size selection. My favorites were the pastries that had cheese. Definitely recommend!

Very yummy sweet bread and cookies. I'm glad i stumbled across it since there aren't too many Mexican bakeries in the area. Highly recommend to any pan dulce lovers!

Drove out of my way this morning to visit for the first time and get some much needed pan dulce. Everything looked delicious and fresh. Total disappointment when the clerk told me the card machine did not work. No sign at the door or at the register. With no cash on me, I had to leave.

Small little bakery in Spring right off 2920. I had a late night craving of sweet bread and Veracruz Bakery was the only one open late (9pm).I had a couple dollar bills and sped to it before closing, did get cuernitos, cinnamon cookies, and my all time-fave conchas. The conchas were my favorite by far, the cinnamon cookies very powdery, sugary and dusty which is just the way I like it, the cuernitos however I was a little disappointed since they were rally hard even the center with the yellow which is my favorite part. It could be that I did get 2 out of the last 3 they had but I felt they were a little too small and hard for my comfort.The employee was direct and on the mission to check me out which I can understand when there is only 15 minutes until closing time OR perhaps the fact that there was a misfortunate " language barrier" which there wasn't but I like to believe that people miss that I too speak Spanish. The prices were a little higher than I typically pay at a Mexican bakery but I still managed to pay with the cash I had in hand. I will stop by one more time and give them another chance, when you make a late night trip close to closing you get slim pickin's and will come at a more reasonable time.

My husband came in to get some cookies last night got about 5 cookies. I don't know how y'all are making these but they were hard and dry fell apart like dust and had no flavor. We had to stop at cvs to get water because to swallow these was a chore

Went looking for the bakery the day after Christmas. Easy to find. Picked up a variety of baked goods to sample. The best item was the sprinkle cookies but it was hard. The empanadas had an odd taste and the concha was dry. Maybe it was an bad day but it wasn't to our taste.

Llegue aquí porque donde yo vivo no hay panadería latinas serca. La panadería está limpia. Pero el pan está duro y seco! No se si es que estaba viejo o no lo cocinan muy bien. Necesitan mejorar.

The bakery was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The bread was okay wasn't very flavorful. Their gelatin was amazing! Okay
