Taco Real

Ah mazing!! Tacos!! We try to come during lunch as is not too far from our office. The food is always delicious and fresh! Service moves a little slow as there is usually a line and so many options so the customers tend to add a lot to their orders. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is due to the line and the construction when pulling in. Totally recommended!

First off I want to say all these other reviews are way outdated. They had a ton of options and staff was very friendly. I might also say this place was pretty busy and had a line when I walked in at 10am. I had the egg and bacon breakfast taco and the spicy fajita. Both well seasoned and I came here on the recommendation from a friend for their flour tortillas. It did not disappoint. Goes to show you can't always fully trust Yelp. Looking forward to trying their other meat options in the future

Really it's closer to 2.5 stars, but I not quite 3. I was excited to see this place open up. I've dropped in a few times now & have to say while the service was quick & nice, the food wasn't that great. And no I wasn't expecting a life altering culinary experienceThere's a good bit of seating inside, including bar height counters & stools along the wall. Because it's new, it's very clean & I noticed they kept the serving area clean as well. On my 1st try, I figured they're new & need to work out some kinks. They gave me the wrong order. Went back in, the young lady working the counter quickly remade my order w/o an attitude. I've tried a bit of the menu now - chorizo & eggs, menudo, barbacoa, asado, potato, and others. The better tasting items so far were the breakfast tacos. The flour tortillas are freshly made & taste pretty good. The menudo & barbacoa were my least fave items. Very bland. Was hoping the salsa would help my taco tries, but neither of the 3 worked. No I don't need scorching hot salsa, but again not flavorful & not even a slight tingle. Hey guys, throw in all that cumin, chile, garlic, etc. like you're at home cooking for your fam! The pico de gallo, cilantro, limes & onions are kept behind the serving area & you need to ask for them. It's been a while since I've been to a taqueria, a truck or wherever & had to ask for onions & cilantro. May want to rethink that. Even Taco Cabana lets you have it. Not saying I'll never ever go back again. Hopefully as things get rolling & time passes it will improve.

Went around 10:00am. Ordered barbacoa tacos with corn tortillas and the meat was so tender and moist it melted in my mouth it was so good. The homemade corn tortillas were my favorite part also. So fresh and soft. Accompanied by the hot salsas that are available self service next to the counter. The area looked cleaned. I also got a chicken quesadilla for lunch and it was delicious accompanied by the salsas. I tried all of them the green ones were mild but the red ones had a good spicy kick. Well paired with the food. I will go again for the barbacoa tacos 5/5. Quesadilla 5/5. Salsas 5/5.

Waited in line, told the server what I wanted and after that she walked off and started doing other things. Other servers just getting the people behind. I'm standing waiting since each server works with 1 customer. Waiting 5 mjns. And no help. The taco real off beltway 8 north

The place is great but the manager never wears her hair or in a hair net she's near the food her hair can fall in the food and she's always touching it near the food please set an example manager put your hair up or in a hair net please

Great food and service. I do recommend you go earlier in the morning to get the best quality. The menudo is some of the best I've ever had and the homemade tortillas makes it even better.

If you're used to overseasoned or underseasoned food don't come here.If you don't know what homemade tortillas are supposed to look like don't come here.I see a lot of rude people commenting about them running out of things, that happens when you're a good business that's sells out These people always have a line during lunch for a reason

You know that scene in Ratatouille where the critic tastes the soup and he is instantly transferred to his childhood memories of his mom making him food? That is what these tortillas did/do for me.

Best real Mexican food, this isn't for people who think Taco Bell is real mexican food
