"We had a great time at the Bullet Grill House while visiting Lake Livingston!I chose the "build your own burger" option, and my fiancé ordered the Bite the Bullet Burger, which is a double burger with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and grilled jalapeños on a jalapeño cheddar bun. The burgers were delicious! I really appreciated how soft and fresh tasting the buns were.We shared the sweet potato fries and mac & cheese as our sides, which I really enjoyed as well. Our waitress was friendly, and our food was brought out quickly! If you are visiting Lake Livingston/ in Point Blank in the future, I recommend checking this spot out for dinner."
"This place and its owner are #epic! I could leave it at that, but that would be much fun now, would it?While I'm of the firm belief that all Firehouse Subs are created equally great, what makes this place epic, as described above is this restaurant's owner. Raj, as he's affectionately known, has gone above and beyond for his community, and year after year he's recognized by many local entities including: schools, police departments, fire departments, etc. for his commitment to those his restaurant serves. His restaurant has also helped many first responders to gain access to life-saving equipment through The Firehouse Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses your "round-up" money that they ask for at the register. With that in mind, I'd like to ask you to say "yes" the next time you're asked. For those that donate on a regular basis, please know that it helps. Ok, back to the food itself...The sandwiches he crafts are fresh, tasty and artistic and I'm looking forward to my next one.Try the Turkey Bacon Ranch... you'll thank me later. "Good pizza. It Wil be better if they offer delivery to all of pearland. Very friendly service. I order there occasionally"
"My initial draw to Oui Banh Mi was their drive thru, which similarly to Lee's on Bellaire (#1), is a rarity for any Vietnamese based restaurant in Houston. After a number of visits with average experiences, I'm convinced their food is solid in a pinch, but not exactly a go-to option. Given that a good volume of their business is takeout, they've been an ideal pandemic type restaurant. Seating is minimal on the inside, but there's a few booth type areas for those who want to dine in. They seem quite modern overall with a sleek menu and fun mural to boot. The food is a mixed bag. One could argue that it's watered down and/or a tad gringo'y, but it lives to serve the neighborhood. Their namesake banh mi has been the least appealing thing on their menu since the bread was stale and the portions were paltry at best. I've tried their signature chargrilled pork and pate, which had very little of both. The first time I thought it was a mistake but the subsequent visits of skimpy sandwiches made me think otherwise.I think a better route has been their vermicelli noodles, particularly with chicken and egg rolls. The fish sauce isn't that potent, but it is definitely sweet. I do think their Vietnamese iced coffee is a clear winner and the pho should probably be avoided at all costs. Spring rolls are also a gamble at times, since the wrapping isn't always tight, resulting in a limp roll or one that's constantly falling apart.Service has also been a mixed bag. Minus the occasional order snafu, I find the service really depends who's at the counter. The awkward times of ordering in Viet has been met with a bit of pushback, to the point where my party and I stopped saying banh mi all together.Their prices are good for the area and I think the fact they use the Coco mini-robot delivery machines are cool. I don't think I'd completely say no to Oui, but I'm definitely saying peut être (#2)____________(#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/lees-sandwiches-houston(#2) Maybe, perhaps."
"Cutest wine bar in the Montrose collective area! Perfect spot to catch with up with girls. They have a huge wine selection and a small food menu as well. Loved the atmosphere, especially with all the Christmas decorations up. Will definitely be coming back!"
"Stopped in for their soup and sandwich deal. Their sandwiches and soups at Toasted Yolk are so good. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my meal."
"I am all about supporting my local businesses. Especially, if it has been in a business for a long time and looks like a true hole in the wall. Usually, they are doing something right to keep them a float for all of these years. However, that was not the case here.I had read that their cheesesteaks were pretty decent from the other reviewers. I came in and got a 14 inch mushroom steak. It was lacking in meat and flavor, it was very bland. They did not have much as far as sauces to help boost up the flavor either. A bottle of A1 and tobasco. Also the 14 inch was just 2 7 inch subs. That proved to be good because I ended up just taking home the other half and adding some extra ingredients at home to make it a little bit better tasting. I must say the price point was good, but the wait time was pretty slow too."
"I usually like the Udon here! It is kinda spicy, had shrimp balls and also little things like pork rinds on top! It is my tried and true! I think it is number 17 or 18 on the menu? But i come here often enough on my lunch break and I don't even need a menu anymore. I love that dish! This time,on my visit,i wanted to try something new. I got chicken noodle soup with bamboo shoots. It was good and hit the spot on a cold day! I feel like this pho spot can do no wrong with their food!"
"2.18.23 My hubby and I decided to venture around our new area and try Whitehall Icehouse. A friend recommended their breakfast but we were slow moving and missed breakfast and made it for lunch. I ordered a hamburger and coleslaw and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries. My burger was incredible. The bun was so fresh and the meat had a great flavor. Oh, and the coleslaw was super tasty. I ate a few of my hubby's fries and they were very good. Not greasy! The portion size was enough for 2 people. His Cuban sandwich was made with thin ham instead of thick. He said it was good but not what he was expecting. (He would not order it again) Now, let's talk about the snickerdoodle cookie I bought. O M Goodness it was the B E S T snickerdoodle I have every had! My hubby agreed!! I wish we would have bought more, but it was good that I didn't. I would have ate all of them! There desserts change every week and they serve breakfast only on the weekends. Also they were having karaoke later that evening. This place looks so fun. It was super clean and inviting. This might be one of my new favorite places. I have to tell you the area where Whitehall is located is absolutely beautiful. One of the sweet girls working there said the bluebonnets cover the fields around there. Also, the Whitehall community center is just up the road and has all kinds of events. There is a car show coming up. This is a MUST stop!!!"
"Howdy you make everything better when you feel like crap? You come here!I wanted pretty badly to like Howdy Hot Chicken, and in some ways I do like it, and I think it's one of the better hot chicken places I've been to outside Tennessee, but their hot is a little too hot in an uncomfortable way but not a tasty way. That's weird for me to say, I have everything far more spicy than 99% of people can handle, trust me (it's Barbi's influence mainly). Also the sauces are a little too sweet for me. And don't get me started on the prices, although the large portions of chicken are pretty nice. But making the sandwiches sugary is something that the massive expansion of hot chicken places by hipsters has done, and I don't appreciate it.I want this stuff, but I need to have this stuff in Tennessee, and so do you, to see what it's supposed to taste like. Hattie Be's for example. It was never sweet and it shouldn't be sweet. I don't know why everyone has to corrupt and pollute the recipe of traditional stuff around the country with massive doses of high fructose corn syrup.Other than that it's very tasty sandwich, good quality chicken, piping hot, and large and filling, although service at this location was not very nice to me at all, and the prices are pretty high.A four star chain with some one star employees constantly messing up very expensive sandwiches, hence the 3 stars. The Shepherd location is much more reliable."
"Quite delicious!Ordered via online for pick-up ahead of time and got the Humpty Dumpty Egg'Wich (really great Texas toast for the bread and I didn't taste any mustard which I prefer), Sichuan Hot Chicken (the chicken was so crispy and crunchy and had a small kick, also super juicy), Three Pack Belly burger (3 smashed beef patties were actually quite juicy as well and flavorful, I really like the potato buns) and the loaded tots (those were just okay). The size of the burgers and sandwhich was alot bigger than expected. Super happy that I got to try this gem out! They also have a drive-thru.Parking - is within the plaza"

Don't have the heart for 3 stars. Casual place with a huge sign on the door about not being allowed to bring outside drinks in. Like alcohol? Or am I not allowed to bring my water in with me while I wait on my to go order?A tad bit overpriced for the size of pizza you get. I enjoyed it, the rest of my family did not care much for it but preferred it over all the chain pizza places.

They weren't accepting people to enter the establishment and we had to order outside. We also had to eat in the car because they didn't open up the restaurant for customers. When I asked the difference between summer rolls and spring rolls the girl told me one has 3 and the other one has 2.... Ummm that didn't sound right. So I tried to ask the question again and I tried to ask it a different way. Finally she said how they are different. So I went with the spring roll with a tone of lettuce and little noodles. The sandwich had hard bread very little meat, as you can see in my pick. I didn't finish my sandwich and just threw 1/4 of it away. I might try other foods here if I was in the neighborhood, but I am not running back anytime soon. Sorry, this is a hard pass.

This was our first time there today there was about a 15 minute wait before we were able to get a table but they're prior of Yelp so next time I can make it online before getting there. Our waitress was Desiree she was outstanding she was friendly. She's made sure we what we needed, she very sweet young lady. The food came out in a timely manner. It tasted excellent nice size portions. My only negative it was a little expensive for brunch $38 for two people with no drinks. The restaurant was. larger than we expected. It was really attractive and very appealing to the eyes.We will go back occasionally because it's a little high

I brought my lunch today for work. Except, I needed to go on a bank errand during my break. After leaving the bank Mr. Submarine caught my eye AGAIN. I had to stop. I needed to find out if this place had a good sub. Sandwiches are my favorite food, and some how the name reminds me of The Beatles, Yellow Submarine. The first thing I noticed walking in is how clean it looked and smelled in there. I like when restaurants take pride in cleanliness. The set-up here is counter staff. Order at the counter and pick-up at the counter. I asked for a recommendation from the cashier. He highlighted numerous choices for me kindly. I'm into spicy foods so I ordered the Hot Pepper Philly. I walked around the place after I placed my order and look around. The decor here was pretty minimal, but decent for a family ran sub shop. I notice they have all kinds of things to fit everyones taste. From salads to wings I say they have a fitting menu. The prices here are more than reasonable, so this beats out other places around here in value.I picked up my sandwich and bought a whole pickle. It's been a while since I've had one of those. When I got to work I dove right in. This sandwich is huge! 7 inches, unlike the 6 inches you get anywhere else and priced at $3.89! BOOM! I'm sorry, but thats exciting for me. Great taste, the beef was very well seasoned and the veggies were fresh. They use mayo and a house dressing that gives the sub a kick. The bread was nice, warm, and soft. This is the first sub that actually held together through the entire session. When I want very delicious and inexpensive subs, this will be my spot. I am proud to have gone in and tried it myself.

I've had their sandwiches several times since they opened and our business loves having them for lunch a few times a week as their food is fresh, clean and quick. The employees are the best reason to come here. Great lunch spot especially for those on the go."
"Finally had a chance to try this place and I'm pretty surprised. Unfortunately their menu was limited but the bun and the com tam were great! The place reminds me of a cafe! Wish the tables and seats were cleaner but aside from that, food was flavorful! The cafe sua da was strong!! Overall, good service, food was kinda pricey for chinatown, food was good, 4 stars firm"
"Not to be confused with Pamela Bread, which is basically my friend Pam baking in her basement and then selling it to people that live on the street.I don't really like Panera and I think their food is awful. Some of the coffee type drinks are actually okay if a little overpriced, but no more so than Starbucks (better drinks than Sbux, no more expensive, maybe a little cheaper). What I usually like is their service and free water and free Wi-Fi and plugs, you call them outlets, but the service here is very mixed. There are a couple of very rude and angry people working here. That's why I gave it three instead of four."
"This crew works really well together at lunch. It was an extremely long line, I thought it was going to take forever. The crew quickly got everyone taken care of in about 15 min. I was able to sit and eat with 30 min to spare. Tables where clean, fountain drink area was clean and fully stocked. My last visit wasn't nearly as pleasant, clearly there are new people working."
"Really like this place. The grilled Cajun chicken sandwich and Cajun fries were both great. The only issue was the chicken was a bit tough, I had to hold on to the chicken to keep it from coming out of the bread. I'm definitely coming back to try their other sandwiches. The Cajun fries were some of the best I've had."
"I had dinner here last week while in the neighborhood for a meeting. The interior is small and cozy with a small bar area along with the dining area. I asked for the spaghetti with mushrooms meal for $11.95. First to come out was a bread basket filled with two large rolls that were nice and puffy fresh. It was followed by a side salad with my ranch dressing and I enjoyed it. Very shortly after it's arrival my entree arrived. I don't like it when the meal isn't properly spaced and I have to look at my entree while trying to hurry and finish my salad. The spaghetti, marinara sauce and mushrooms was large enough in size and tasted good but the sauce was too watery and it created a pool on the plate that was unattractive. My table service during the meal was very good. While the overall meal was decent I can't give a score higher than a 3 due to the watery sauce and inadequate pacing of the meal delivery."
"The owner, Juan, is from New York and worked as a chef there which shows in his skills and passion for the business. He does brisk breakfast business offering pastries, breakfast tacos (the green sauce is the best in the world), lox and bagels and Mexicans omelets as well as gourmet coffee and teas. The lunch offering are a wide variety of deli sandwiches, tacos, baked potatoes and daily specials (grilled Tilapia, roasted chicken breast, Swiss enchiladas, meat lasagna and chicken quesadillas) are excellent. His home made soups are all delicious."
"We loved the food and service at the Hubcap. This is a small chain. There's a new location opening up soon in Santa Fe TX. I think this one's been open a couple years. We showed up right at 11 am and we were the first customers. My wife and grandbaby and I shared the chicken tender basket. Came with crispy fried chicken tenders and fresh cut fries, country gravy and toast.....there was nothing left but a few fries. I had to try the Nola Muffaletta Burger with a beef patty topped with their homemade olice dressing/salad, swiss cheese and a mayo sauce of their own creation. No part of this burger survived it's encounter wit' me. The fries were done to perfection and the fried okra was just as good. We did haves some fries and okra left over, they were too good to leave behind so we snarfed them up for dinner. You order at the counter and they bring it to you in a short length of time. We'll be back."
"WoW, what a great burger! This cafe is located at the local cattle sale barn/ cattle auction. It is a nice quaint place and on the outside it stated best burger in town and they were not lying. Ordered a bacon cheese burger with home cut fries and it was awesome The bun with a nice toast , bacon strips cooked perfectly nice cheese slice perfectly melted the meat patty was cooked perfect and green lettuce , fresh tomato and just enough pickle chips. The Frys were perfect and I can't wait to get back here and try the rest of the menu. If you are driving on IH 10 and near the area I would venture off course and stop in. Call first and make sure they are open just saying."
"Love this place it's a decent hoagie. Cut fresh right in front of you. They are always polite and good customer service which is huge to me!"
"Banh mi for $5. Cash only. They make the sandwiches in front of you. I recommend #1 the cold cuts. I also tried #2 BBQ pork, but it wasn't that good. It was a peppery flavor. This banh mi place is inside the Hong Kong Market, so it's a bit of a walk from the entrance."
"Took my fiancé here after going here for years with coworkers. Tried the hot pepper cheesesteak this time. It was a great choice. Omg that break is sooo fresh and soft. I love it every time. The food comes out very hot and quick. I'd recommend it. I can't wait to try new stuff next time."
"This was my first time there as I was craving French toast and my brother suggested it. You order at the counter, are given a number and food is brought to you. Most of the seating is stools and there a few chairs with a back support. There is outdoor seating too. I ordered a small Americano with a splash of half and half. The coffee is smooth. The brown sugar was hard to pour. I told an employee. She took the sugar dispenser to the back and brought it back. It didn't work. I had to put white sugar which is in envelopes. The French toast is beautifully presented with powdered sugar, fruit and a side of syrup. I ordered with no whip cream. The toast could have been more moist. But this place has great reviews and I'd like to go back and try other items."
"This is the store closest to my neighborhood, don't get all the negative reviews, every time I order on line I'm there in 5 minutes and my order is ready and right and back to the house in 5 minutes enjoying my sandwich"
"I have always loved Blimpie, and was so excited that there was one nearby when I moved here. I always get the veggie and cheese on the jalapeno cheddar bread. They have all the regular veggies and a sweet pepper mix that I enjoy. My husband, who has been known to complain about my love of sandwiches, quite often suggests we come to Blimpie he likes the sandwiches so much. He gets the cheesesteak, the club, or ham and swiss. The bread is always fresh and delicious, and they have multiple flavors. The owner always seems to be there, and everyone is very efficient."
"You all have an easy job, EASY. Clean the place, double clean the veggies, inspect the food, and serve food. Seriously what is so hard about that? When you serve food, make sure there aren't any insects attached to the veggies, the meat is not bad, etc. Inspect the freaking food, you all have eyes!!! I can understand a hair, but a nasty worm hanging from the lettuce?!! Yes. I found a worm attached to the lettuce. The lettuce is purple and you can easily see the damn thing. Therefore, it is obvious that whoever prepared the sandwich didn't take the time to wash the veggies and inspect the food. I can just imagine what other nasty crap goes on their food. Never, ever, ever again will I go to this place. My husband talked to the manager (she didn't even come talk to him at first, he had to tell her to come and address the customer) Yamir? She looks middle eastern. She had the audacity to tell my husband "it's comes in the salad, it was just in the salad". So, to whoever the owner of this place is or GM, she clearly doesn't care about your business, sanitation, and the customers' well being."
"This place is located inside the office building behind the elevators in the corner. The food is delicious and the lovely couple running the place is very friendly and accommodating. Stop by for lunch if you're in the area."
"What amazing food and plating. The Deviled eggs are not what you would expect, they know about flavor pairing and it is obvious with these. Fried goat cheese was also delicious. I went with the SOB for my meal and it was delicious and unlike any brisket sandwich that you have had before. The staff was friendly, helpful and always there with a refill or anything else when needed. Katie's is well decorated and a the type of place that Livingston needs."
"We visited this location during their grand opening when everything was 50% off so we tried the cluck it up fries, dirty mac fries, chicken tenders, and bird wrap. I'm completely obsessed with the dirty mac fries - not only is it an absolute steal, but it's a crazy large portion and every single component is delicious. I end up eating this over 3-4 days and to put in perspective how great this place is, I've had this menu item 3 times now and they only just opened a few weeks ago. I docked a star because their bird wrap is pretty terrible. The lettuce is soggy, and I'm not sure why they use ranch instead of their comeback sauce. Truly seemed like a miss to have this as a "healthy" option because it doesn't blend in with the rest of their menu."
"I think this is the original Roostar formerly known as Vietnam Poblano. It was surprising to walk in on a Tuesday night and note banh mi shop without any Vietnamese workers. The kitchen is a lot larger than you would expect from a banh mi shop, and I didn't see anything specific on the menu that would require that many people so they must do a lot of volume during the day.Their prices are more expensive than the typical Bellaire or Midtown shop, but their sandwiches are larger and they fill them well. They have two kinds of tofu sandwiches, one that is lemon pepper while the other is garlic butter. You can also get both, and you should get both to get the best tofu banh mi in Houston."
"Food was really tasty. We ordered kibbeh --amazing, but the pita bread was just alright. Not the best but not the worst either. Their wraps were delicious, my kiddos loved it. Falafel was definitely delicious. Shawarmas were delectable. Chicken kebab was delicious but had lot of food coloring. Baba ganoush was very flavorful. Bakhlava was very fresh and super tasty. Turkish coffee was aromatic, flavorful and yummy."
