Martini Bar & Cigar

I'm so glad this place was re-branded. Faces had run its course and let's be honest, it was hood as hell. There is a void in the city for the 35+ crowd. With our options being limited, Martini/Cigar is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air. It's gives our age demographic a reason to go out and enjoy ourselves without having to worry about hearing a DJ spin NBA Youngboy, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty or Young Thug.I've been twice and the DJs are always playing music from the 70s to the 90s.....the music we can relate to. They really know and understand how to properly set the vibe and create an extremely dope and sexy atmosphere for professionals. Parking wasn't a problem at all. The restrooms were very clean, the bartenders were fast and attentive, and the busboy who was assigned to the patio was like a worker bee. This dude never stopped cleaning. Whatever he's getting paid, it isn't enough. He kept our table on the patio spotless.To the owner, Ed Micheaux, we thank you. Mr Micheaux actually came outside and introduced himself to us one night we were there. He gave us a rundown of his most popular cigars he had for sale, where they came from, and answered whatever questions we had for him. Since he actually took time out to spend time with his patrons, we immediately wanted to buy more drinks and patronize his establishment as best we could.There was a guy on the patio cooking BBQ as well. This guy was a HUSTLER. He rolled up to the patio on crutches, setup his station and sold food the entire night on one good leg. He even limped around the patio handing out samples of his wings in order to get people to buy a plate. The strategy worked because a lot of people bought in, including us!I'll definitely be returning when I get a chance, especially since I found out that Good Grief (Houston's best DJ) spins there.

Several family members and I just patronized this establishment on Saturday, around 9:00pm. It wasn't too packed, which we loved. The dj started around 10:00 and was LIT!!!All we saw were hookahs to rent, no cigars. Luckily, we had our personal humidors in the car. We wish the patio was a bit larger to accommodate all of the people who were outside smoking. Also, I think they need some more mature waitresses for the more mature crowd. One of them was all over customers & jumping around outside & by the bar.

Went here for a friend's birthday party. A good deal of parking in the area (street and parking lots) and no cover charge. The music was awesome. However, they need a dance floor. We mostly sat at our table all night and danced near it since there wasn't a dedicated dance floor. The outside patio is pretty cool, as well.

This establishment deserves 20 stars!!! Wow!! With so many people enjoying the vibe here in surprised there are so few reviews! I saw this place on another Yelpers Instagram and once I asked if they had hookah and she said yes I knew I was going!!!I picked a cigar bar because I wanted to treat my brother for his birthday and he loves a cigar! The owner of this establishment put him on to one he's never had and he was very impressed with the suggestion and will smoke that particular cigar in the future. I'm not into cigars so I tuned out as they were talking.The owner of this place is very engaging without being intrusive. He cares about his customers experience and that was much appreciated. I asked for a mixed berry hookah but he added his own blend and let me just say I will let him pick my hookah from here on out! I loved the flavor and it was so smooth! All of the employees here are very gracious and inviting! Very friendly and pleasant! He's got a good group of people working for him. Don't be fooled by the title. They do have a plethora of martinis and the crowd, especially the ladies, we're loving them!!! However they have other liquors. I don't know about wine though. My brother had scotch. I had a Sprite as I was the designated driver. (Don't drink and drive folks!!!)I will definitely be back here! The prices are reasonable and the crowd is older and respectable. Well, they are mature and that is cool!

This is place has been open for maybe a month or two, maybe longer. This is my first time visiting. A lady dear to a lot of people's heart celebrated 94 years old this evening. She owned her own Charter School/Private School back in the day. An alum organized a get together at this establishment to celebrate with her. I was very impressed with Martini. Laid back atmosphere, great smooth jazz and R&B pumping through the sound system. Nice ambiance, dimly lit creating a nice warm vibe. Especially paired with 53 degree weather. Don't let the mention of my old Principal celebrating her birthday at this spot have you thinking this is for Senior Citizens, This spot is great if you are in the mid 40's early 50's. I will most definitely be back. Come to find out, the Owner is one of the alums of our school as well. The get together from was scheduled from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Wasn't very crowded. Great spot for Happy Hour.

They could be great but the service at the bar needs improvement. The DJ on point but I only club for birthdays so I expect a level of customer service that falls short here. They need more help plain and simple, when everyone around you at the bar is frustrated cuz the bartenders are like hitting the lotto when it's finally your turn. then one shows up and scolds me since I didn't order limes and Red Bull with my initial order while I'm attempting to pay = she is still serving me and I have an add on. My bad she is overworked overwhelmed obviously

Decent older crowd for a quick drink and a wonderful DJ that plays good R and B music. Parking can be a bit crowded and the tow trucks are just waiting

First of all let's say this will not be good,I spoke to Ms.Williams on Tuesday about a section she gave me all the details and the cost,I sent in the payment on that date via cashapp,so I'm thinking all is well Come Saturday the eve of my 40th birthday.Once myself and friends arrived I asked to whom I need to speak to about my section,the young lady at the door directed me to a gentleman he then directed me to the bar the bar directed me to the bar on the other side I walked came across a young lady asked did she work there she said Yes asked her how do I find out about my section she says hold on let me check(I was wishfully thinking finally somebody will know) so much for a wish she walked out and said somebody will come seat us they lead us to a table not a section but a table for 4 my attitude was already jacked up but this was beyond unacceptable come to find out Ms.Williams was there the entire time I asked for a refund she asked what was I going to do seat at the table or get my money back maaaaaammmmm run my coins.I was so excited to celebrate at this place but this right here left a terrible impression on myself and friends don't waste your time or money here!!That 1 Star is by default
