Jose's Mexican Restaurant

I've lived in Dayton more than 20 years and I've eaten here most of those years I've watched them grow and improve service, food, and seating space for all those years. Never had not one complaint about the food, service, or atmosphere and cleanliness of this restaurant. Love the laid-back atmosphere and feeling of "YOUR FAMILY". Want something special or different and they do their utmost best to accommodate your desires. Eaten lots of Mexican cuisine but never found any to surpass theirs. Always take friends and family their with no hesitation. Try it, you'll like it for sure and the prices too! P Brown

I've only eaten here during lunch hours but they service has always been good. They have good lunch specials that are very filling .

I was nervous about this restaurant as the roof is in need of repair, but I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately in the bar area. Our drinks were delivered quickly with chips and salsa. The chips were crisp and fresh. The salsa had a little bite to it. I ordered the San Antonio dinner and my husband ordered the taco plate. Our food came out within 5-6 minutes. I was glad the enchiladas had chunks of chicken vs shredded chicken. The cheese sauce was standard for Texas. (Yellow vs white sauce in other states). My husband's tacos had good flavor with crisp shells. Everything was pretty good. My only complaints would be lack of sauces on table as I love hot sauce. Also, the waiter didn't check back on us!! If you want a hearty meal at a decent price, you won't be disappointed!

The food, service and ambiance are all reasons we keep coming back to Jose's. I like having a place where I can count on everything to go smoothly whether it's during lunch or dinner.

Food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere is typical for a Tex-mex restaurant. I'd eat there again. Menu was huge! Many things to choose from.

This is an amazing family owned spot that shouldn't be overlooked. They go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for Tex-Mex. Lot's of options on the menu, great atmosphere and they give back to the community. Support small and show this restaraunt all the love, they deserve it all!

Decor is very nice and relaxed - making one feel like you are in Mexico. Jose's always has the best Tex-Mex food and their margaritas are awesome. Great food, great chef and great bartender, along with friendly, caring employees. They are always willing to work with you should your diet require veggies, rather than beans/rice or anything else should you ask for. I highly recommend Jose's restaurant to anyone. Note: They also sell Gift Certificates should you want some to give to friends.

Good food for the area. Great Margaritas. We go a few times a month. Staff is always friendly and fast.

This yelp need some help!!I gave it 5 stars for the area. Definitely better than the other place in town. I'm pretty picky about Mexican food but enjoy simple Mexican food. Ate regular old cheese enchiladas and they were really good. Reminds me of home Tex-Mex cooking. Try it! Won't be disappointed. Inside is nice too!

My family loves Jose's! We eat here at least once a week, and have not found much that isn't super tasty. We love the hometown feel inside this restaurant and service is always good.
