Habibi Cakes

Awesome cakes, cappuccinos and friendly owners!! My wife loved the macaroons, one of the best around!

Incredible cake! My family tried the chocoflan and found it to be super moist and flavorful with a great combination of textures. Every time we've gone back we get the same cake because we enjoy it so much!

I came to Habibi Cakes with a friend yesterday for some conversation and cupcakes. Although the shop isn't in the best neighborhood, it's very cute, the treats were yummy and the guy behind the counter (I'm assuming one of the owners) was extremely friendly.My friend got tres leches, which I tasted and thought was very tasty. I got a german chocolate cake cupcake, and although it wasn't "traditional" (since it used a dense, dark chocolate cake instead of the lighter brown cake typically associated with German Chocolate cake) it was very delicious; the coconut icing on top was very tasty and the cake was moist. I'd definitely stop back in if I'm in the area again, but coming from the Med Center I don't know if I'd make a special trip back.

Yummy treats and great place to have coffee and do some work with the free wifi! :)

They started out strong and I gave them a lot of my business. But customers disappointed with the service and unpredictable closers. Now they are out of business :(
