Fish Place

This place has great Shrimp & Chicken! I got it with a side of fries and a side of dirty rice! Tastes as good as the large chains, you get more food, and the price won't have you syphoning gas from you neighbors car!FYI: This review is from last week. I went today for lunch and the same dish I had last week (picture is posted) did not look or taste the same. The dirty rice was runny and the chicken tenders didn't seem to have much batter on them. I brought it to the managers's attention and first he said that this they were grilled (which is far and away from what I ordered last week) and then he changed that up and said that they used a different type of chicken - this time a flatter chicken was used. Maybe I'm as stupid as I smell, but I have made enough fried dishes to know that your batter makes the difference in your batter...not necessarily whether or not the chicken is flat or fat. It's a chicken breast for heaven's sake!The flavor is still good and I'll give it one more try before I give it the "heave ho" and go back to a place where the same dish never changes because of flat chicken and they don't grill what's supposed to be fried.

I been here twice, both times they didn't have any oysters. This last time I was here they we're out out oysters, ice t, and To-go bags? Not only that but the place was not clean and the Staff was less to be desired. I was thinking about taking a picture of the lime green bowel movement that was left for me when I entered the bathroom to wash my hands after handling the salt/pepper shaker but I figured that would be too much.. I will not be back, mark my words this place will be closed very soon.

Having a mother who was born and raised in Louisiana makes me very biased when it comes to Louisiana style cooking. The seasoning for the jumbo fried shrimp was very flavorful and they were fried to perfection. I had it with fries which were very nicely seasoned as well. The garlic bread was just ok, but for the price and quality of the food I had it was definitely worth a trip there. Overall good experience......

Call this place before going to make sure they accepted the groupon i bought was told YES. Got there with my groupon and party of 9 and was turned away. The owners were there and I explained to them I called to make sure if they accepted the groupon. So they female lady went to talk to some guy in the corner and10 mins later came back to tell me that they will not honor the coupon but they will offer me 25% off my order. Umm hello how is that a deal I bought my $60.00 worth of food coupon for $30.00 thats 50%off. First time I was going to eat at that location and I will never go back.

I've been here about 3 times over the last year and the food has been solidly consistent in freshness and quality. They use fresh bread on their poboys and the fried chicken is always straight out of the fryer. Most of these reviews I'm reading seem to say about the same thing as far as the service goes, but I don't care much about the service not holding my hand. I care that they keep their kitchen clean and my food fresh, which I haven't been disappointed yet.

One star is too much in my opinion. Drive thru Menu said a cup of gumbo was $4. I yet to the front and the RUDE girl says my total is $6.48. I say "It says $4 on the menu" to which she replies "it's $5". I'm no Einstein, but $5 plus tax still does not equal $6.48. I tell her this and she rolls her eyes and walks off. Rude as hell. I won't go back!

This location must have changed cooks. It was one of my favorite places for reasonably priced seafood. The location has improved greatly since opening but the quality of the food has declined. One two occasions I've found my food to be overcooked and even burned. The first time was burned roux in the gumbo. Not a good sight or taste. Next, I bought a chicken and shrimp platter and the chicken tenders were dry and barely seasoned. The shrimp were a little better but not by much. The biggest issue about the order was that they got it wrong. I should have gone back to tell them but I decided the best thing to do is go elsewhere next time. I really want to support this location because there is a lack of restaurants in the area. However, I just can keep paying for sub par food and service. Hopefully someone from the business will see this and make a change before it's too late. Advise to anyone who goes there...don't make your order at the drive through. You will not be happy.

Dark, dingy atmosphere. Most of the items on the menu are not actually available. Staff is not friendly. No thanks.

Good food and excellent customer service. I had the fish tacos (first time ever having fish tacos) and they were off the chain. The gumbo is a must have!! I will definitely go back again. . .and again!!
