The barista here is impressive. Incredibly busy round the clock but calm, collected, and fast - AND she still latte-arts. By the way, Pacifica oat milk and no upcharge - amazing. I recently paid $10.50 for a regular size oat milk latte in Beverly Hills that didn't even taste that good, so this was a welcome change - And yum! Took quite awhile to get my coffee, but I loved it, and I didn't mind the wait. Maybe it's nostalgia. Maybe it's really yum coffee. Maybe it's both. Regardless, this is worth a visit."

What a win for Spring! I was greeted with a smile and a window display of sweet treats (including an ube cupcake). Everything I ordered arrived hot, fresh, and smelling delicious. The peppermint tea was peppermint tea, the Philly cheesesteak was flavorful. Could the "meat" pass for meat or the "cheese" pass for cheese, no. Does it matter, no. This lighter, flavorful take is a pretty impressive way to consume vegetables and I'm all for it. While the ube cupcake was a little denser than I'd prefer, the frosting was amazing, and I'm excited to try their other varieties. I'm so happy these folks are planted here! Excited to see them continue to blossom!"

"On a recent road trip to College Station, we needed some sustenance before hitting the road. I needed it in the form of caffeine mainly. My Yelp bestie Tiffany located this spot, and come to find out, I've had it bookmarked for awhile. It is located in the Boardwalk at Towne Lake. Parking is plentiful in this really nice shopping center. Walking in, I really liked the chill vibes this place had. There were a few families there as well as people on their laptops taking care of business. The staff was very friendly and helpful.I looked over the everyday menu and they had quite a few options to choose from. They have hot, cold and specialty coffee drinks along with tea and bottled drinks. I went with what looked like a seasonal drink called the Turtle Dove. I saw the word toffee and knew that was the drink for me. I requested mine with almond milk. This drink came out in a large coffee mug with a pretty design in the foam. The toffee flavor was very present but not overpowering. I could totally taste the great quality coffee as well. It wasn't too sweet which is how I like my coffee. I knew I needed some food in my system as well and noticed a plethora of baked goods. Come to find out, everything is freshly baked daily. They had cookies and pastries as well as made to order cakes. I'm a sucker for cinnamon rolls, so I had to get that when I saw it. They asked if I wanted it heated up which of course I did. The cinnamon roll was so soft and fluffy and the sweet cream cheese icing was the icing on the cake, no pun intended. I would come back for this alone.I've been finding myself in the Cypress area frequently recently, and if that trends continues, I will definitely be stopping in here more. I highly recommend this spot!"

"I visited Doshi House for the first time last weekend. I wasn't familiar with this place until my Yelp friend Pree suggested it. I can always count on her to introduce me to vegetarian/vegan places around town. Parking is a tad confusing but we realized you can park in the small lot up front or on the street (there's plenty of street parking). It appears that the lot is also shared with Project Row Houses so read the signs before you park.The inside is cute and cozy. The tables are spaced pretty close together, but there's a good amount of seating inside. There's also a back patio with more seating. I ordered the Just Egg and Potato taco. It was really good. I've never had Just Egg before, but it tasted like regular eggs. The chimichurri was very flavorful and I enjoyed the cilantro and diced onion. I just wish the taco would have been bigger. One taco was $5. I had the Sunset Tonic which was refreshing, especially since it was a warm day. I love coffee, but was in the mood for something different.Doshi House really focuses on community engagement and outreach. They also seem to be a place for artists and creatives. I really enjoyed the vibe!"

Who knew boba had electrolytes? (Or at least it felt like it did).We were in the area and Yelp'd a boba place. While this place didn't have the best overall rating, it was convenient, so we swing by. We didn't really do our due diligence beyond seeing where it was located, so we were surprised to find that it was a food truck. I ordered a peach lychee smoothie with rainbow boba and it was as great as I could have hoped for. Pretty sweet but not so overwhelming that it was gross. The rainbow boba was the perfect compliment.We don't live nearby but will definitely come again when we're in the area."

Coffee is something I drink only ever so often because I'm already a hyper person and don't really need it, but I do have insomnia and can use it those days I've only had 3/4 hours of sleep. The staff is always warm and friendly and the drinks are way better than Starbucks imho. I get the vanilla latte with oat milk most of the time and it's fire. My kids hate when I use that word, but it's the only one I can think of to describe their drinks. Their list of drink names is so cute. I plan on trying the Karen soon. It's not very big inside, but it works because it feels all warm and cozy when you walk in. I normally see a few people studying when I go. They host AA meetings here, so I love it even more. What recovering alcoholic wouldn't enjoy an amazing coffee shop and some good convo about the steps? It's in the heart of old Katy and across from Wells Fargo. When you need a delicious pick me up, stop by and grab a drink.Edit- Sooo I had no clue that this place was a recovery based coffee shop. How did I miss that with the name Serene Beans??? The only reason I give less stars is because I think they should've monitored the boba more closely as it gets older and closer to the end because it seems as if the boba had broken down into the sauce making the sauce SO stringy with a weird mucus like texture. It was so unpleasant to drink. We honestly couldn't drink them because of how thick, stringy, sticky and mucus like the boba syrup was."

Hellcat has this, exactly the way I prefer it.My wife's ideal coffee order is something espresso-based, iced, with some kind of flavoring: vanilla, caramel, etc. She ordered the Joy Ride, which is Espresso, Coconut and Chocolate and she loved it.Normally, our tastes do not overlap, as I really don't want my coffee to be sweet, as I feel it takes away from the caffeination aspect, which is the most important part. However, this particular drink, I found to be absolutely unreal. One thing my wife and I do bond over when it comes to coffee is that probably our favorite shop on Earth is Island Vintage in Hawaii. There, they somehow manage to meet the microscopic, center-circle of the Venn Diagram that joins together my coffee preferences and hers as one.Hellcat is now the second place capable of such thing. I could absolutely order a Joy Ride any day. To be honest, as much as I loved my Nitro, I was incredibly jealous of her drink and wanted one all for myself. Fortunately, this place is not too far away from us and we will certainly be visiting frequently in the future.I've seen the big sign off 105 many times, but never noticed the actual building itself until we actually made an effort to visit. Most of the seating is stools and there a few chairs with a back support. There is outdoor seating too. I ordered a small Americano with a splash of half and half. The coffee is smooth. The brown sugar was hard to pour. I told an employee. She took the sugar dispenser to the back and brought it back. It didn't work. I had to put white sugar which is in envelopes. The French toast is beautifully presented with powdered sugar, fruit and a side of syrup. I ordered with no whip cream. The toast could have been more moist. But this place has great reviews and I'd like to go back and try other items."
