Just opened a month ago. Tan (the owner) who was working when I came greets you with such enthusiasm. Love the vibes and energy! He puts care in the product that they sell, and it shows.So many sugar cane options, they were out of the few choices that I had in mind at the time, so opted for the coconut sugar cane drink, and it was delicious!Ordered the combo that came with the banh mi as well. Super scrumptious sandwich, the steak was tender and meshed well with all the other ingredients. Will definitely be coming back soon

NO CASH ACCEPTED I was excited to come here but had to toss my drink away that costed $8.10. I know inflation is high but I just felt it was something I had to throw in the trash. I ordered a coco-sugar cane and it tasted like a straight up limeade.The Ingredients says coconut just, sugarcane juice, and coconuts.I did not taste anything coconut.It was so unbearable to drink.. I even tried to water it down..I had to toss it. I was gonna order banh mi but it didn't look appealing and I can drive 5 mins down the street that I know will be good banh mi. And go to Mama Mia that's also 5 mins down.

I'm giving it a 4 stars because the service was friendly & accommodating, but to be honest the food and drinks were an overall a 3. Walking in the ambiance is minimalist, very simple but well kept. The inside is kind of small but well spaced out on the seating. There's also tables outside as well. The menu is simple, you can also order as combo as well with the drink & banh mi. I decided to get their OG cane, coco cane & the house steak banh mi sandwich. The OG cane drink was decent. It was very sweet & I can tell that they didn't add any sugar/sweet'n low. It wasn't the best but it was good enough. The coco cane was also solid, but the coconut flavor was subtle in flavor. Most likely because sugar cane itself is sweet and strong. My steak banh mi was a total disappointment. While other reviewers say it was salty. Mine didn't have any flavor at all. Not even a pinch of salt. The owners probably read y'all review and toned it down on the sodium but for mine it was just plain tasteless. The bread was also over toasted and a little too hard for my liking. The steak itself wasn't dry but it wasn't tendered either. The only compliment that I have is that they packed my sandwich up with a lot of protein & I mean a lot. Overall I'll have to give it 3 stars but the service is what made it a 4. They were a little slow considering it was dead & it took about 12 mins to make my sandwich while my drink was sitting at the counter. I won't deduct a score from that because they're still new and working out their kinks. When I come back, I'll just order their drinks because I do not recommend getting any of the sandwiches as it wasn't good & pricy as well.

I'm just going to review the sandwich and the staff. I ordered the pork belly sandwich! It's a 5/5 for me. Worth the wait. The cashier girl was really nice and had a great attitude, she even had a conversation with my daughter. Very clean facility. Also there was board games and stuff to keep a group occupy. They only accept card though. For drinks I ordered the strawberry limeade cane, princess peach, of sugar cane and of sugar cane with coconut. I think y'all should try it yourself. Sugar cane drinks aren't really my thing. It is a bit on the sweeter side.

I absolutely love sugar cane juice. It's refreshing and naturally sweet and the best drink for a hot day. I received a Yelp notification that this place had just opened and since I was in the area I thought I'd drop by. Too bad I had just eaten because the banh mi the couple was eating as I walked in looked delicious! I'll have to try them another time. I got the key lime mojito with light ice and it was just as expected. The fresh mint added a bit of a bite to the acidity of the lime and the sugar cane. I wish they'd had a bigger size. I would have gladly paid for a bigger size! Sugar cane drinks are a bit on the expensive side but it's worth the splurge once in awhile. Service was ok, bathrooms clean, plenty of seating.

I heard great things about this place and decided to try it out. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and did not have to wait to order. I ordered kumquat cane and steak banh mi to try it out. They had a combo deal for $15. The drink was a disappointment as it had no kumquat flavor at all as if it was just plain cane juice. The owner said they are having a hard time getting fresh kumquat right now. The steak banh mi was way too salty. My friend and I could not even finish the sandwich because the steak was so salty. The owner did offer another sandwich as they are making a new batch of meat as others said it was salty too but I didn't have time to wait and I asked why and he said it's because his mom wasn't there that day to cook the meat.

My family and I stumbled upon this gem on Instagram while in Houston for our daughter's volleyball tournament. Took a little trip to Bellaire, we tried all three banh mi varieties: chicken, pork belly (my personal favorite), and steak. Unlike traditional banh mi shops, they offer a unique twist on the classics, but don't skimp on the meat or veggies. The steak banh mi was particularly flavorful, and the bread was wonderfully flaky. The clean, minimalistic decor gave off a fresh vibe, and the prompt, friendly service added to the positive experience. We also indulged in their sugarcane drinks, and they did not disappoint. From the coconut sugarcane to the kumquat and strawberry lemonade options, each drink was a refreshing delight. Overall, a fantastic find that we'll definitely revisit!

Delicious drinks and banh mi sandwiches. Everything is so fresh and refreshing. My kids enjoyed every bite and that's huge! Such a great place that serves proteins that my kids love!

Got the coco cane and house steak sandwich, it was real good. Great service as well, notice some people coming in slightly after they closed and they were kind enough to take those customers orders.

Wow. Just wow. House of Canes has one of the best banh mi that I can go out and buy. I drove 40 minutes to try out the banh mi and sugarcane juice and they did not disappoint. The service was great, the vibes were good, and the employees and owners were just amazing! My favorite was the steak banh mi and it brought me back to my mother's cooking-- just phenomenal. The sugarcane juice, no matter which flavor I got was delicious (I wonder which flavors they will come out in the future)! Overall 10/10 would come again and invite more friends and family!
