Fantastic hot dogs and burgers. The best slaw in town. Nice little place for lunch. This is the type of place Fayetteville needs more of, small family owned restaurants instead of the plethora of franchised food we have.

Why did you change the chili recipe! I lived in Fayetteville for 18 years and now return on business every few years, I was extremely disappointed this week when I ordered two chili dogs and chili/cheese fries. The chili is not what it use to be:( It wasn't terrible but the old recipe was much, much better.I was glad to see someone remodeled and cleaned up the inside and the service was good like it always is but I came for the chili and because it's gone...so am I.

Great atmosphere with good family values. When you walk in you are immediately greeted with big smiles and a hearty welcome. The prices are fair and affordable so no need to spend a lot! I ordered the sausage dog all the way( mustard/chili/slaw/onions) hot dog(the same) with fries and a lemonade. The sausage was just right and made me smile, the hotdog on the other hand was a luke warm so a little disappointing. I would recommend trying again to let them correct the temperature but because this was a local stop while traveling that may not be the case!

Recently stopped in with a friend for lunch. We ordered a hamburger, a hot dog, 2 fries, an Iced Tea and a milkshake. Our bill was $21. The buns were cold and the meat was as well. The fries were pretty good. Just not worth $20. The burger had no taste at all. Try Robertson's!

I moved to North Carolina in 2003. In the 17 years I have been here, I can honestly say I have not met a single person who sings the praises of Fayetteville. The consensus seems to be: it is hot, not pretty in most places, and the only people who live there are either associated with the military or have not managed to get out yet.Fayetteville does indeed get hot: they hold the record for highest temperature ever recorded in NC--110 degrees Fahrenheit on August 21, 1983. And as far as pretty is concerned, I'm sure there are some pretty spots, but I did not see many--lots of poverty and run down businesses. And Fort Bragg does seem to be the centerpiece for this area.But one good thing they have going for them is Hot Diggidy Dog.I made the trip to Fayetteville to continue my quest to visit all 30 of Our State Magazine's hot dog recommendations. And this was a good one.I ordered one all the way, one of their famous bacon wrapped hot dog "blt", fries, and a drink (to make it a "combo"). The hot dogs were very good. The wiener appeared to have been pan fried and had a good flavor. The slaw was tasty and the chili was excellent. The bacon around the bacon wrapped one was thin and crispy and good, but the flavor was largely lost. Overall both dogs were enjoyable. The fries were pedestrian.This place is reasonably cute and cozy but a little dark inside. They are very patriotic, with a U.S. flag flying outside and a giant one hung on the wall inside.My biggest gripe is the cost of adding fries and a drink to the order--$3.70. That is high by at least $2 in my book. I was shocked. It was highway robbery.It was almost enough to consider making this a 3 star review, but I won't because the dogs were worth 4 stars.So if you find yourself in Fayetteville, this is a place worth checking out if you love hot dogs.Just don't make your meal a combo.

Great dogs and hamburgers-fries and onion rings too! Hard to beat! Good prices! I stop in whenever I can.

From there outside we passed this place over due to the appearance. That is the only reason for 4 stars. Did were good and many choices and options. Tasty little hot dogs. Super clean and tidy inside... Does not match the outside.

Great food and very nice and courteous staff and clean !! Will return again when I'm in the area.
