The bartender was attentive and took orders quickly. I tried their Tommyknocker IPA (was a bit too hoppy for me) and the Avalanche Ale (wasn't as good as I've had in the past, but not bad and surprised they had beer from Breckenridge and Idaho Springs available). The jalapeno bacon cheeseburger wasn't bad. I really liked the jam on it and the jalapenos actually had some heat to them. The cream cheese was pretty basic and so was the bacon. It came out reasonably quick and the fries were decent also. We sat out back and the rest of the group watched a game, played volleyball, and played baggo. Prices were good and they have weekend happy hour also.I parked in the back because it was a bit of an awkward layout of you don't approach from the front. Try to park up front if you can.

I guess sober people aren't welcome here? I came in with my dad to grab something to eat. (My dad had been before on a previous road trip and had a great experience) Before speaking to me, Chucky asked for my ID, which I didn't have with me. I wasn't planning on ordering a drink anyway... so to me, it doesn't matter. It was a slow night... so letting me sit there and eat (giving them service?!?!) was not causing a problem. He brings my meal over and aggressively jokes that it's a "kids meal". I am clearly a young woman with or without an ID. Unnecessarily rude and in general was acting like a jerk for no reason, other than that I didn't want a drink/ didn't have ID? Ok chucky Can't expect much from a small town bar... but at least respect would be nice. Treat people how you want to be treated. Food was average. All in all, this place is less than mediocre and I was not a fan of the attitude.

Hopper's can easily be found next to the $30/night scuzbucket motel next door. It's in a pretty dumpy area, but that's part of the charm. It's a divey sports bar with an ample amount of TVs and a surprisingly small crowd on Sunday afternoons in NFL season. They have a sand volleyball court and some cornhole boards (Volo leagues play here) in a large outdoor patio which also has a bar. The beer selection is nothing commendable but they are quite cheap. I haven't tried the food as a friend said they once got sick from their food so I have decided against it, otherwise the menu is your typical pub fare. I have found the bartenders to be very nice, friendly, and attentive upon my couple visits. The parking lot could use some love but finding a spot shouldn't be a problem. Overall it's nothing special but it does have a neighborly vibe to it if that's your thing.

I like the vibe of this place. Great drink specials, but I haven't eaten here yet. If you like volleyball or want to relive the Top Gun days, this place is magical. I want to take a big group of people here just to do that. Lots of pool tables, games, and TV's. They have regulars here, but we have felt very welcome the three times we have gone by the regulars and staff. It is a sports bar with tunes and fun, so it depends on what you are looking for. I only give it a 4 because of the parking situation, as you sort of have to park in the back street that dead ends. Otherwise, cool spot for some dumb fun or to watch a game...and play beach volleyball.

We went to play volleyball and had a blast. Loved the outside bar and bartender on Saturday night. Good music playing. Nice green with cornhole as well. It did suck that volleyball was reserved for 2 hours so we couldnt play, kind of surprising it can be reserved on weekends. They had breckenridge brewery beers on tap which was great.

Highly disappointing experience !! 100% service related. Passing thru town with my 22 year old daughter. She left her ID in hotel room but didn't have a problem just ordering water. However, our bartender/server apparently did have a problem. When he delivered her food order, he did so with the comment "Here's your Kids Meal" Really??? Could not have been more disrespectful !!! No need to return to Hoppers in the future. Will gladly take my business elsewhere and let the miserable bartender wallow in his dump !!

Went here a few months back. Food is horrible and pretty sure I had a slight case of food poisoning. Drinks were average, I do love dive bars especially with pool. Service was pretty decent and tables/floors seemed very sticky.

Food was good, when it finally came out. SLOW SERVICE. TV out and on, and out. Can't see the game.
