Came for breakfast with a friend. I ordered the pork and preserved egg congee with you tiao. Both were quite good, you tiao was a really nice crisp but a tiny bit on the oily side. Congee was delicious, just like how my mom used to make it. Service was fine overall. A little mom and pop shop that serves very authentic Hong Kong food.

I know nothing about Hong Kong Style food. Don't quote me on my experience. I have been waiting to dine in at Hong Kong's Cafe for over 3 years. This restaurant was takeout only after restaurant restrictions during later half of Covid pandemic. Prior to that, it was open with limited time and menu. Very hard to match with my schedule. Dining room was opened very recently, as I lost track because it's tucked away at DiHo Square. I came here early this week as I was dodging from the thunderstorm. I wanted some noodles. I have been wanting to try Hong Kong style spaghetti. I tried it in San Francisco Bay Area last year and loved it. So, I ordered Curry Chicken Spaghetti. Oh. My. Gawd. I stared at the dish wondering. I took a photo and a video to share on YouTube. I got so many comments and over 1k views. This is what prompted me to write this review. This is the nastiest food I have ever had. It's consisted of chicken nuggets and french fries dredged in watered-down curry sauce. Spaghetti was over cooked. When I first walked in, waitress asked if I been there before. She would recommend the Peking Duck dish. Because the sign said CASH ONLY, I told her not this time because I had limited funds. After I finished as I walked out, there was a sign say Zelle. Ah, she should had told me earlier. I would had tried the Peking duck. Maybe the experience would be better than what I ordered.

One of the rare HK breafast spots in Houston! I loved the ABC Breakfast sets that they serve here; they're both filling and cheap! The food was good and the service was fast - great for a quick meal! The food is very authentic and affordable! I just think taste wise, it isn't as good as other hk cafes I've been to elsewhere (but relative to Houston Chinatown, I think it's a pretty good spot) It also gets pretty crowded in the morning - I was lucky to get a table, but do expect to wait if you go closer to noon!

Came here for dinner an hour before they close, the service was quick but the quality of food we got was little disappointing. My bf and I love bbq duck, and we saw this place might have very tasty duck, so I came here with a higher expectation since this seems like an authentic Hong Kong cafe. Unfortunately, the bbq pork and bbq duck were served lukewarm, and turned cold soon after. I was looking forward to a hot dinner on a cold day but was a kinda sad dinner. I don't know is it because they are closing soon, and we were the only table there so they didn't bother to heat up our food well or something. The meats just lost the flavor when they aren't served fresh and hot, and I also think they lack a little seasoning. The flat noodle was great though, was hot and flavorful, not too oily either. It's called Malaysian style I think, if you ever go I would recommend it. Cafe looked a little outdated but it's a normal traditional vibe inside, welcoming staffs. Maybe we just went at a late time so the food was not so ideal.

Fantastic restaurant that offers authentic and flavorful Hong Kong dishes. I tried their HK milk tea which is a must! It comes unsweetened and they give you many pouches of sugar to add if you want to sweeten it up! Their HK french toast is also a staple that reminds me of my childhood... the well buttered toast begs for the sweetness of the sweetened condensed milk to be poured on top then quickly devoured. Had to get a BBQ duck to go as well! The only downside is that they didn't have the plum sauce that normally comes with duck. I also tried their egg tarts and they weren't my favorite due to the lack of flavor and dryness of the pastry. I prefer ECK bakery's egg tarts since they are a bit flakier. Friendly PSA that this place is cash only!!

They have a large extensive menu like a typical HK cafe. Service is great. Food comes out promptly.Quality / taste is not as good as HK. Portions on the smaller side. This plaza gets busy real quick over the weekends and then parking becomes hard.

Great noodles! I am looking forward to going back and trying some of their other dishes, as I have little doubt that they're all good.Service was quick, and the atmosphere is like that of a coffee shop or small diner.Bring cash! They don't take credit cards.

Staff is adequately friendly but not exactly welcoming. Food taste is OK in general but the quality of ingredients leans more towards that of mid-to-low quality HK cafes. Fried chicken wings are good. Congee, curries, noodles, baked dishes, etc are just okay. Tea is good. Their milk tea and lemon tea are quite authentic.
