Hong Kong BBQ

I'm american born chinese, i grew up in a chinese famiky restaurant.. my cantonese is passable for ordering food. This dude has broken English, worse than my chinese. Got my order wrong refused to cancrl and charged me. It was chinese new year today and only place with bbq left. Wing Kee was sold out. So I felt compelled to pay for what he miscommunicated in the order since there was no bbq left. Chinese bbq guys chop on demand so its kinda stressful in general but he made this experience terrible. NEVER coming back here, do not recommend.

First time visiting this shopping center because I picked up spring rolls from the nearby Vietnamese supermarket. I wanted to get a small lechon in 2 weeks and have been trying bbq roasted pork around town. Saw this place and no one was there at noon on Saturday. I tried ordering for half a pound of roasted pork but the guy said minimum is 1 lb. There wasn't any sign stating the minimum. I want to just buy a little to see how well seasoned it is. Guess I'll rule out this place for my suckling pig. Not going back!

The roasted pork is very good with thick and crunchy skin. I usually want my meat to be fatty and without bone, and they always happily oblige to fulfill my request.

Not sure why some won't give this place a high ranking. We absolutely love this place. The roasted pork is just flavored perfectly. It is not too salty and the crispy skin is delicious. I would say this place is way better than another place we tried in Houston and we tried a lot. It is also better than places in California. If this shop were in CA, I can guarantee you that pplz will definitely be lining up out to the street. We recently moved to Houston and was looking for a BBQ place and couldn't find any to our liking but now we finally found it. Their peky duck is very good too. The shop is also clean and we appreciate that as there are many places that are very dirty and messy. We highly recommend this place.

Tasty Chinese BBQ at wallet-friendly prices. Owners very kind and accommodating. Very clean food display and prep area. Have been back many times and the items picked up from this shop have always been consistently good on each visit. Highly recommended!

Great food, ordered bbq pork and roasted pork plate with rice. Both are good. BBQ pork is sweet and you can offset with a spicy sauce. Friendly staff helps you with your drink selection. Place is generally to go. However, they do have seating available. Cold drink options are available. And nearby parking is available. They have menu options available on the left side when you walk inside.

WARNING! I got stomach pains & indigestion. So did another person that ordered the same duck & rice plate. First off, people working here can smile and act friendly you know. Try having some fresh food instead of having some dry food up for display. I love BBQ Duck & Pork. This place ruined it. The duck was juicy but tasted mushy. The bbq pork' skin tasted like stale non-crunchy chips. Break your tooth trying to chew the dry pork skin. I like giving mom and pops stores a try to support but this place really irked me and I have to let other people know what happened to me so it don't happen to them. I spent almost $50 here. All the 5 stars here have no credit with a couple of reviews. I warned you!!!

Terrible food. Found steel wool shaving in the rice. DO NOT GO to this resturant. Bad for your health.

I was very excited to see this place during my lunch. Decided to give it a try to pack some home. Big mistake. Regardless how great it looked in the store, the roasted pork they gave me were tasteless and there was no crispy skin as you can see in the pic. They were very dishonest. The meat were dry and tasteless. I do not recommend.
