I returned for more...and ordered the same combo, Jjajangmyun and Tangsuyuk...but this time, I opted for the normal, instead of the spicy Jjajangmyun. The one thing that disappointed me was the presentation of Tangsuyuk especially. The toppings were quite skimpy last time too, but this time it was even worse! In my original version, there wasn't any carrots at all...just a few mushrooms. A VERY plain Tangsuyuk...possibly the plainest version I've ever seen?!? So I actually asked the Manager on duty (??) for the some carrots on the side. Thus, in my picture, you'll see a triple dose of carrot toppings. I just wish I didn't have to ask for it. Why get so cheap with the toppings?? It tasted great...but just didn't look as appetizing. Jjajangmyun was solid...as expected. I didn't realize until later that I could have added more black sauce (from the "Do-It-Yourself counter). Also, I found it somewhat hard to eat the noodle and the pork with the flimsy plastic utencils. I know this is a self-order, self-serving type eatery, but actual silverware would have been so much better...easier to eat! So yeah, there were disappointments in some aspects...in their budget-happy ways? Still, the foods made up for it. This is one place where I KNOW I'll get that perfectly authentic Jjangmyun. For that alone, decided not to dock any stars...and am sure to be back.

- Plenty of parking. - Self severing station and self ordering station. Inside is really spacious and clean. When you come in you will order at the kiosk and take your order first. Then you can pick a table and get your own aide dishes and utensils at the station. Open kitchen so you can actually watch them making the food. The little interaction we have with the staffs, they were nice. - Food.Chili Jajangmyeo is the star of the show. We will definitely be back for it. Noodles is fresh and the sauce is the right amount. 10/10 recommended you to try it out for yourself. The chili shrimp was great too. Love the sauce, not too sweet and savory. Jiamppong ( spicy noodle soup w pork and seafood ) is a flop. The soup isn't seasoned well to taste. Noodles just water the soup down more so it's just really bland. It's a good experience. We will definitely be back for the jjangmyeo for sure tho!

The spicy noodles was ok. It looked scary red but not spicy at all. Wish the broth was hot.Stir fry noodle was good.It give me the vibe of Korean restaurant in Korea. You order at the machine and pick up at counter. The restaurant is quite clean and employees seem very nice

Sooooooooo good! I loved the kiosk you ordered from. Jjajangmyeon (Korean Black Bean Noodles) YUMMMMMM! Just a backstory... I watched a Netflix series about JJajangmeyon, the history of the dish, its popularity and all the nuances of how it's cooked!!This did not disappoint! I can see me visiting again for the comfort of the noodles it was delicious! Chicken was crispy, flavorful and a little spicy Pickled Radish was delicious! The beer selection was so different and really delicious. I don't even drjnn beer but the one with the tiger on it, in the pink can was super delicious, crisp, fruity and almost like a very flavorful seltzer.

Arrived after 2pm for lunch on a Monday. The place was empty except for one table. Go late if you want to avoid the rush. Nice layout with lots of tables. You order from a touch screen kiosk to the left of the counter. That was a little confusing since most places have them by the door. I decided to go with the meat (pork) Jjamppong. The kiosk gives you the choice of mild or extra spicy if you want to modify the heat level. I went with extra spicy. My order number was called in less than 5 minutes. Taste was ok. I considered the heat level to be weak and went to the condiment bar to get some powdered red pepper. Still it was missing something. The pork was seasoned and grilled with your standard Korean bbq sauce. There were huge mussels in the dish. The squid was a bit overdone and chewy. No shrimp. I founded a baby bay scallop toward the end. Not horrible but ZZamppong Zizon by HMart has more seafood in theirs and if you like painfully hot they have a menu selection for that. The winning points here are fast self-service kiosks for ordering, less than 5 minutes to get your food, lots of room free Wi-Fi. Food is ok. If you have time to wait there are better options, but if you're in a rush this one should be on your list.

I've been multiple times now, and I love the concept of pairing jajjang myeon with sweet and sour pork (I had never known it was a common pairing until Paik's offered it). I love how it is self-service, you can order at the kiosk and pick up your food. They have the basics like water, chopsticks, and napkins, but they also offer Korean pickled radishes, seasonings, and bibs! The noodles are AMAZING, the perfect amount of chew and super slurpable. Honestly, I feel like if I could just buy a bag of those noodles, I would. Any sauce would go well with them. I tried both the jajjang myeon and the stir-fried version, both were amazing!! I appreciate that I can customize the stir-fried version to be vegetarian. I will say it's on the pricey side, but for good food, I'm willing to spend!

One of my new favorite places for Korean Chinese food! First, let me preface by saying this place isn't the easiest to find. On both occasions I've met someone here they've been confused on where exactly the restaurant is located. Hint: it's three doors from the very end of the shopping complex. Upon walking in, you'll notice Paik's is spacious, clean, and inviting. Start your journey by ordering at a kiosk in the front left of the restaurant, but if you'd like to look at pictures and a menu of the food, you can pause at the front counter to enjoy some delectable food porn. The ordering system is straightforward -- order and pay for your meal at the kiosk where you'll receive a printed copy of a receipt. However, for older folks who aren't as familiar with this technology, I saw them struggling. It seems like there are screens at the front counter where the elderly can order from a live person, but it seems they really, really want you to use the kiosk. On one occasion, I watched an employee walk a group of people through the ordering process. Once you're set, grab an open seating table and load up on the goodies! At the front counter, there is a fancy water station, utensils, a variety of sauces, an AYCE daikon - YAY! There's also two sizes of bowls and plenty of them so you don't have to feel bad about loading up a ridiculous amount of daikon or using extra bowls to share. On both occasions of dining here I pretty much ordered the same meal:- Jajangmyeon - noodles with black bean sauce- Tangsuyuk - fried pork with sweet and sour sauceOkay, the noodles here are superb. They are absolutely the right texture, not too springy, chewy, or soft - they absorb the sauce incredibly well. I've read some reviews that the jajangmyeon sauce is sweet here and I've noticed that, too, but it's not overpoweringly sweet and I like it. No complaints on flavor here. The tangsuyuk is really good! The breading is a bit tough to describe but it's light and airy. The sauce is thick and there isn't a ton of sauce so the pork isn't drowning in some mushy mess. Both times I've dined here they have been excellent meals and service has been kind and incredibly nice. I think this place is a winner!

Have you been here yet? Well you better start your car right now and head over there! Go especially at 7-8pm because they are doing happy hour on all alcoholic drinks 50% off! My favorite is their chili jjangmyun and their big plate jjangmyun it has so much variety of seafood! And it is soooo good! I also recommend getting sweet and sour pork ( sauce on the side) because its so crispy and delicious :)

Can't speak for what's considered "authentic," but we thought the food here was great! A friend told us about this popular franchise. This location has a self-service kiosk. The utensils, drinks, and condiments are also self-serve as well. Once you're done eating, just leave everything on the table. You can ask for a to-go box at the front. We got the classic trio: jajangmyeon, jjamppong (more spicy), and tangsuyuk. The tangsuyuk (fried pork with sweet and sour sauce) was one of the best we've ever had! It had a light potato starch batter that was crispy and chewy. The sauce was not too sweet and tangy-- we'll probably order sauce on the side next time. The jajangmyeon had a great smokey flavor. The seafood in the jjamppong was cooked perfectly. The (more spicy) broth had a nice deep flavor and a kick. The noodles were thick and had a nice bite. Can't wait to come again and try the rest of the menu!

Out of all the places I've tried in Georgia , this might be the closest you can get to Korea regarding black bean noodles. The noodles are perfectly cooked , not too starchy and the black bean sauce is on point . I don't get too much of the msg which is perfect since most places just douse their food in it which is the norm but this place does it right .If you're looking to eat some amazing black bean noodles or any Korean/chinese fusion food , Paiks noodles is delicious and place you should try out!
