A while back I've been to this Chinese Buffets in Katy. Today I want to try it again. We came on a Monday. The food selections are limited, not too many options to choose. Probably because it's a weekday. Weekend would be better and fresher food selections to choose. They offer Hibachi grill, but I didn't try it. Sashimi only has few pieces, not a lot.Pricing is decent $19.99. Overall, the price for the food is okay. My friend Birthday was today so she asked for the Birthday comp and the waitress honored it (proof of picture ID). Staffing keeps table clean after each empty plate.

CONSISTENT. what more could you ask for from a buffet My in laws love this place and have a lot of occasions there and anytime the invite comes I never say no. Their food is what you'd expect from a buffet but average to high quality depending on the dish The steak and shrimp from the hibachi station is great and bang for your buck. Delicious with the hibachi white sauce My goto are the sushi/cooked Baked mussels Dim sum is hit or miss The steamed fish the salt and pepper fried crab halves They have a lot of great dishes!

Excellent food and choices. Sushi, dim sum, fish, vegetables, desserts, grill. Something for everyone. One of my favorite places.

As a fan of buffets in my prime eating/fattening days, I frequented many across the Houston area and judged it based on its selections, quality, and value. This was a very popular spot and remains one of the better selections in the area.Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and Hibachi not only offers the standard Mongolian grill option but a full sushi bar with Sashimi (can be hit or miss and definitely consume at your peril), a dim sum area with chicken feet/ribs/dumplings (not bad actually), and full self-served ice cream bar (this was better pre-pandemic as the quality of the ice-cream has dropped as they switch to individual cups). There are also some expensive options like crab legs, steak, fish, and the underrated crawfish in my opinion. Overall I would rate it fairly well based on the selections and value. (even better if you're looking to bulk up and prefers Quantity over quality) There have been several price increases due to inflation over the years but for $17.99 (weeknights) and $18.99 (weekends) at the time of this review, it's still not a bad price for a buffet of this caliber.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Good pricing , about $13.50 before tax per person for weekday lunch buffet, plus drinks. Good selection - hibachi grill, sushi, seafood like muscles, dim sum options, and standard Chinese buffet fair. Servers were nice and attentive. Restaurant was large and busy but pretty standard, decorated nicely, and clean. We'd come back when hungry & in the area.

No photos sorry. I have been living in the area for 3 years. Passed by but never stopped. I wanted to"Chinese buffet" yesterday. My former go to for Hibachi was Toykohanna and they have been closed since Harvey hit the city. On to the review, I enjoyed the sushi, pan fried dumplings, and other items I tried-most importantly the fried crab! I tried the hibachi-you get to choose your own items. I added lots of garlic but it was just missing something-maybe the BUTTER. Needless to say, I will go back. My server was a sweet young lady, I hope I get her again.

I have a weakness for cheap buffets...Honestly it's a issue. But I had saw this place and had to try it! Overall it's not bad. For the price the food is okay and I didn't get sick. Service was okay, but what do you expect it's a buffet. Will I be back? No. It wasn't note worthy. But it was worth coming once!

This is one of the better Chinese Buffets in Houston. We were quite pleased with the variety. There's the usual Chinese food, but there's also a Hibachi grill and sushi/sashimi. There's even Dim Sum. Here's your chance to try Chicken Feet!Prices are very reasonable at $13.49, especially for weekday lunches. There were a lot of people around Friday lunchtime.Service and ambiance is quite typical for this type of place. The staff was quite prompt in removing the empty plates once we're done. It's even open for Christmas if you're looking for a feast on a day where most restaurants are closed.

Overall, it was a 2.5-3 star experience. We went Friday evening, and although the food was fresh, it wasn't that great. The crawfish was bad, even when piping hot. The hibachi was a huge disappointment, especially for the wait, no amount of salt or soy sauce could bring life back into it. I will say the fried crab legs and shrimp were the most consistent item, and were delicious. Everything else was hit or miss or just miss. The food was actually pretty bland. It was a nice price though, 17.99 for dinner. Would I go back? No. I was probably most disappointed about the lack of soft serve ice cream. That always hits after stuffing yourself full of food.
