Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Atlanta East

After a long day~My first time here and It was pretty good. I wish the chicken was a bit more tender ? It was a bit hard but flavor wise all my taste buds were enjoying. The pimento is cold, and pretty good. My boyfriend said the cobbler doesn't taste so great, good little spot.

This is a perfect example of how a copy doesn't truly hit the spot. Ordered the exact same meal from my time in Nashville. Let's just say it missed the mark. Inconsistency in food temp. Thigh was piping hot. Breast was Luke warm. The seasoning just isn't there. Fairly bland for what I have experienced in Nashville. Location service was prompt. No issues there. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sadly parking is very limited. But there is a parking lot next door but it's $5 for 2 hours. Make sure you pay for parking. I was there 15min and already someone was being booted for parking illegally.

Out of town and it was my first time trying it last weekend. Had a few questions about the menu and I appreciate the staff not making me feel like a burden with my questions. They were very helpful and nice. Outstanding customer service!The food was DELICIOUS! I got the small white fried chicken with a side of fries and potato salad. Definitely would go again if I'm ever back in Georgia.

Go to there! The food slapped, the chicken was crispy, hot and flavorful. The baked beans amazing and those grits...omg I could eat them every day. The only misstep was the waffles, I like my waffles fluffy with sliiiight crispy edge, these were super crispy and firm. The staff were the sweetest and showed me true southern hospitality as soon as I touched down in ATL!

I might not be appreciated for this review, but... Hattie, I wasn't impressed. I'd rather go to ChickFilA....My boyfriend ordered the mild, tenders and said they were sour in taste. Not sure if it was the oil or batter they used. And I had the sandwich with pinto cheese and bacon, and as heavy and overwhelming as that sounds - it was. The Mac&chz too, I've had better at ChickFilA.....Suggestions that would've been nice : bbq sauce being made available, as well as wet wipes. I'd return if someone I was around suggested it - bcus the music was nice and graphics/graffiti surrounding the dining area make it a place where friends can meet for a bite to eat without the full wait of a restaurant.

I loved Hattie Bs when i visit the OG in Nashville. Excited it made its way down south to Atl I was excited. And this review makes me sad to write because it's changed not sure because it's this location or what. Came in on a regular day and the prices are still amazing. I got the quarter bird with Mac and cheese. I got fries instead no problem had to walk inside and get my stuff. The Mac and cheese was mushy no pimento flavor and my hot damn chicken was bland. No sweet salty seasoning nothing. Then I got a cup of the banana pudding and it was gritty and extra sweet. Not sure if franchising overly saturated the quality. But it's on my off list.

Hattie B's parking situation is confusing upon arrival. Pro tip: you're going to turn in where the Sherwin Williams is and then drive around the back of Hattie B's to get to where the parking is. Do not get confused and turn into the private parking lot. Also, where you think you turn in - they have it as an exit only. I can't tell you the amount of people had to disregard the arrows because the parking situation was not well planned!Secondly, please clean your vents (see picture attached)! While I was standing in line waiting to order, I couldn't help but staring back at the vents.Now for the food itself, i got the medium chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken sandwich was hot temperature wise, but not spice level. If I was to return, I'd definitely go for a hotter level than medium. The fries were okay, but a bit hard. Overall, I was a bit dissatisfied with my meal seeing that my chicken (which look at how flat it is!) wasn't super flavorful and my fries were quite hard. The cashier was very kind and attentive!

I've been wanting to try Hattie B's Hot Chicken for a hot minute, so when my best friend suggested this place for lunch on her bachelorette trip, I was so down! They have a typical fast-casual operation, you order your food at the counter, pay, and then they bring it out to you. They have quite a few options but the man working the counter was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. I opted for the spicy tenders with fries, extra pickles, and an extra side of pimento mac & cheese. It was a pretty solid lunch and went perfectly with their sweet tea and lemonade mix. Looking around all of my friends also liked their food as well. All in all, we had a solid dining experience. Coastal Virginia could use a Hattie B's Hot Chicken instead of all these Raising Canes that are popping up, but that's another story, and don't get me started chile!

Food: I had the mild fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese. It was delicious. Crispy & fried well. Not dry, but perfect. Just enough spice. Not too much bec I don't like extremely spicy food. My husband had the medium sandwich & he said it was too spicy for him. Potato salad was good if you like your potato salad to taste more like a loaded baked potato in a bowl. Banana pudding wasn't a crowd pleaser. My husband's peach cobbler was better; full of crust.Service: excellentAmbiance: very busy at this location but chicken was still perfect despite the amount of door dashers & customers. I'll be back again!

Yooooo I can't not believe this place !!! Visiting from Cali and I came in to no line luckily and the cashier was so nice great interaction and helped me with a smile. Allowed me to sample the 2 "enthusiast only" dry rub on their chicken and boyyyyy that was some HOT CHICKEN! Then there was some mix up with our order but they fixed it real quick and I was so happy with my food the Damn Hot sandwich as the BEST chicken sandwich I had in my life just the right amount of spicy ! Definitely a place to check out when visiting in Atlanta
