My friends and I stopped in here during a pub crawl mainly to get some food in our bellies as well as have a drink. They are located in the Heights and street parking was available. We walked into the bar area which was narrow and made our way upstairs to a patio. The place has an older feel to it, but it's only been around for about 10 or so years. There looked to be alot of regulars as the wait staff seemed to focus more on them. Our service upstairs was slow, but good company and great weather made it ok. I was in the mood for something fruity and refreshing so I ordered a 19th Street Cosmo. It came served in a Deep Eddy Vodka cup, looked good and tasted fine. We also ordered an order of the crawfish fondue. This was really tasty and served with crostini. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but the amount of dip to bread was way off. We waited so long for drinks and food that we didn't want to get a second round of drinks or entrees.Overall, this was an ok spot. They had a crowd that night and we expected service to be slow. I would consider coming again.

Ambiance was nice. That's where the compliments stop, due to the food being just bad. My wife and I both had the fish and chips, both were oily and under cooked. This not the Harold's we knew, the restaurant is no longer located upstairs so the kitchen and staff are not the same.Due to our dissatisfaction the manager took 15% off the food portion of the bill and still came to $53.00.Never going back!!!

Went here for a girls day brunch and the food was great. The service did take a while but it was worth the wait. Rooftop seating with pretty lights around the perimeter-it was a vibe! Check out this cool restaurant in the Heights.

Houston Restaurant Week! The place felt weird in the ambiance factor. No one greeted us at the front. It was kind of dead that morning. Felt awkward. And it was super quiet. Like eerie quiet lol. But the food was good minus all the flies that were inside. We loved everything besides the chocolate cake. It was just TOOOOO sweet.

Stumbled across this place in an online search for good happy hours as Friday afternoon was wrapping up and my friends and I were ready for a drink to close out the work week. HH was advertised online until 6:30 with great drink and food specials and was mentioned in a few forums I follow.... So we figured we would give it a try. Upon arrival at 5pm on a Friday, the entire place was empty. TVs were off, all the lights were up bright... we thought they weren't open at first. Place is definitely more of a dive bar feel. None of the HH specials advertised online or on their special board in the bar were accurate (despite us pointing it out when we received our ticket). They were out of Half of the food on the HH menu as well. We each had one beverage and decided to go elsewhere. We did not eat, so nothing to comment regarding food. Service was sub par for being the only people at the bar as we kept having to get our bartenders attention to order and get our check as she was more interested in her phone. Perhaps their lunch/ dinner is better.

Absolutely incredible! I was driving around town running errand with my husband when we stumbled upon Harold's. We were looking for brunch and we found the hidden gem!Today they are offering a 3 course brunch meal for $40 with a complimentary mimosa upon arrival. We got a prime patio seat and got to enjoy the weather. We started with their beignet and bisque then for our entrees we had their southern breakfast and creole Benedict (drool!!!). We had their mule and old fashion with our meals. We ended our visit with a baileys and coffee instead of a dessert. Allie and her team are absolutely incredible!!

Tried to give this place another try with the new ownership since we had a concert across the street and Alice blue was closed for the night. I'm not one for bad reviews normally but I have never had so many bad experiences. I feel like I'm playing Russian roulette when I order food from here. Last time my burger was grossly undercooked (and I like a nice medium-medium well patty usually) and this time my fiancés fish was clearly bad. The restaurant feels dirty and needs a full remodel or at least a paint job. Service was slow but at least nice. This was the last chance we will give this place. Even the beer and wine tasted old and gross.

Well, been driving past this place for a few and on a rainy Sunday decided to stop in and take a looksy. Service was attentive. It was not busy. Bartender took about 15-20 minutes to make a house margarita. Drink was forgettable. Sour. Next, got Old Fashion which was good. Again, took 15 minutes to get the drink. Was chatting with another group in bar, a few stools down, and bartender started to take my drink before I finished it... which was not cool. Told him to leave it. It was over half freaking full! The cheese plate was generous and good flavors. Nice variety. I had two drinks and cheese plate and with tip spent over $55 on a very slow Sunday afternoon. I am not sure I would go back, was really pricey to me, and wasn't really a great experience to be honest. I am frugal and this place doesn't meet my desired expectations.
