It was just okay for me. I've definitely had better, maybe I didn't order the right.Service - amazing for the most part. An older lady did give us a glare when we came in. Possibly because of how we were dressed but I made sure we followed the dress code.Food - 7.5/10 the salmon was something we could have made at home and my steak was just okay. I've definitely had better.Ambiance - it's beautiful inside! I love the cozy environment. It's perfect for a romantic dinner.They did bring out a delicious cake for my daughter's birthday and that was the best item we ate for the night.

My husband and I was invited to attend dinner for a friend birthday here last night. Of course we read over the "dress code" and thought we did pretty good and dressed up well. While waiting in the lobby, the manager approached us & said that they have dress code rules and workout clothes is not allowed. My husband and I looked at each other than at the manager and asked him who's wearing workout clothes? He pointed at my husband and said that the clothes my husband was wearing were workout/gym clothes. (My husband was wearing black pants, white shirt tucked in with white shoes). Because it was a very good friend birthday dinner we didn't want to leave and go down the street to Stage where the food is 10x better, my husband ran across the street to buy clothes from Old Navy and switched out his shoes. Towards the end of our dinner, we saw one person wearing ripped jeans with a regular t-shirt which is against their dress code dining in, then from the private room 5 ladies dressed in LULULEMON workout fits, with shoes on and one even had a hat on which was also against their "dress code" walked out. My table of 5 were confused as to why my husband was rejected and turned away while others were dressed against their dress code dining in with no problem. Either they pick and choose who they feel like kicking out that night or the guy that approached us is just racist. After spending $800 here. We'll never and I mean EVER step foot back into this business. Our waiter and waitress were 10/10 though. Very nice, and fast with the service. Food? 5/10. We ordered a tomahawk medium rare and that tomahawk came out RARE! Crab cake 10/10. The best I've ever had. Cream spinach 3/10 super watery Corn 7/10.

My boyfriend and I had 930 reservations for this restaurant just for a date night out. We frequent many steak houses in Atlanta and we wanted to try a steakhouse that was outside of the perimeter. 1. The service was absolutely amazing at this place. Our server Alex was one of the best servers I've had in a long time and this is coming from a gigantic foodie who eats at many places around the world.2. The ambience was very on point! There was soft music playing in the background that added to the liveliness of the place, and the decor was something that looked like it was picked carefully out of a magazine. Definitely a 10/10. 3. The food was impeccable. We ordered 2 bone-in ribeyes , the potatoes au gratin, the brussels sprouts, the chargrilled oysters, the prawns, & a few drinks. We also tried the cowboy butter & house steak sauce. DELICIOUS! The food was incredible. They really hit the mark with the temp of the steaks and they were seasoned to perfection. Our bill was $492 and we left Alex an $80 tip. 4. Unfortunately before we were seated we were greeted by two sweet hostesses while they prepared our table. The manager then swiftly appeared a few minutes later and we were racially profiled. He accused my boyfriend of smelling like marijuana and refused to seat us until I flat out told him that us leaving after we traveled far on empty stomach was not an option. He asked my boyfriend to go spray cologne if we were wanting to eat. My boyfriend had a leg injury & was forced to walk back to the car to accomodate someone else's false claims. He also said: "We have kids in here and can't have that type of stuff in our restaurant." To add, my boyfriend has lung issues and is in physical therapy so smoking is not apart of his daily routine. Once we were seated we noticed there were no kids and the restaurant was near empty. I still tried to enjoy my night even though I was embarassed and humiliated based on the color of my dark skin. I would love to eat here again but unfortunately if Michael cannot offer a sincere apology on how we were treated unfairly, we will continue to spend our money at our favorite restaurant Marcel. Hopefully H & W can strengthen their cores and values so that the dining experience is fair and comfortable for all patrons regardless of their skin. Once these changes are made, I will be more than happy to delete this review!

We selected this restaurant as a recommendation from another couple. We truly enjoyed every minute of our experience from when we pulled in for complimentary valet parking, attentive hostesses greeted us in this gorgeous space, sat with Devon at the bar, until we left the parking lot. Devon is a jewel! Devon and his team provided wonderfully engaging service the first time my husband and I visited. My bone-in ribeye was perfect; his sea bass presentation was outstanding and tasted as good as it looked. We enjoyed this vibe and highly recommend it! Best tip: Make your reservations for the weekend early!

I honestly did not know what to expect. There were not a lot of pictures out there. When we arrived we were seated quickly. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere this is not it. That's not a negative at all. It just showed me that everyone was having a good time. Our waitress was so nice. I'm sure she thought we were crazy with all of the food we ordered. Food: The Waygu was great. We split that because we wanted to try it. I ordered the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection. You get three extra thick chops. I also had the Delmonico which was so good. My friend had the filet and it was like buttah!They have this bread that's so soft and tasty. Do not eat the bread before your steak!! Don't fill your belly.Sides we ordered were the corn, macaroni and cheese, and the mashed potatoes. I like that the mashed potatoes were not the soupy kind with no taste. The Mac n cheese was good too.For dessert, we had the sorbet and the birthday cake. The cake was a little too sweet but was still good. The sorbet was very rich.If you are looking for a good steak this is the spot.

We enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner here (on the day before because ain't no one wants to deal with that crowd).The restaurant is absolutely stunning. Reminds me of a high end steakhouse you would find in Atlanta minus having to deal with being in Atlanta. It's very intimately lit and decor is masculine and moody. There's also a very impressive bar. Great for date nights and special occasions if you don't mind being close to other tables. It can be a bit cramp but we were lucky to have a table by the window and not between other tables. Our server was friendly, sweet and funny. She was attentive without being overbearing and we could not have had better service.The food was good. From the steak to my sea bass, everything just melted in our mouth. Sides were mushrooms and Brussels sprouts which weren't that memorable. We enjoyed cocktails that were good as well and strong without being off putting.Now for this experience, it was about $300 which is a hefty price tag but we did leave full and happy. You could definitely spend more and have eaten less in some places.

Oh this restaurant is too fancy I love it. Complementary valet once you arrive. Had a reservation for 8 of us on open table, for my mom's birthday. They seated us in a private dining area which was super nice and elegant. The decor was eye catching. Ordered two starters, fried lobster tails and Maryland crab cake. Both were delicious. Ordered lamb chops as my entree with charred broccoli it was really good. The black truffle butter was a nice touch to the lamb too. Broccoli was very seasoned and it did not disappoint. At the end they gave my mom a huge slice of birthday cake and we sang happy birthday. It was very nice of them to provide dessert for the whole table. Things to keep in mind esp with a larger party. Great spot for a celebration dinner! We came here for Father's Day with my family and were so impressed. The waiters are all great. The food was all delicious. The steaks are top notch and the sides were all so good.

Great ambiance and service. We had a private room for 10 people. Ghetto service was spectacular and tentative. Sadly the food were not as good as I was hoping for. The only item I really wanted to try was the bone marrow. But it arrived undercooked and still frozen on the inside. It was brought back the second time and it was still undercooked. The third time they overcooked it and there was nothing inside. For a place like this, it just feels unacceptable for this to happen.

For the past few years, a lot of restaurants have been through so much after Covid and going out for a nice meal just hasn't been the same experience. However, H & W was able to serve us a meal that we truly enjoyed every minute of. From the moment you enter, you're greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. Our server was well informed about the menu and was patient while explaining all the different choices in cocktails and food. The food was delicious to the last bite, and they even brought out dessert for us for my husband's birthday celebration. If you're looking for an exquisite meal and to be treated with the best service, H & W steakhouse is definitely a place you need to try!
