Wonderful service here! Came in on a rainy weekend, the lady at the front gave great recommendations and our food came out rather quickly. The chicken salad sandwich and couscous salad was amazing! The atmosphere is really neat cool - in an old gas station!

Good brunch spot in Durham! Been here twice now and enjoyed both meals, but tbh nothing mind blowing. I've gotten the:- Wonder Woman Eats Her Veggies (flat egg whites, roasted red pepper sauce, spinach, peppers, caramelized onions & mushrooms on Texas 3-seed): Simple but tasty! Really liked the combo of fillings, the sauce, and the bread (it had a hint of sweetness!). Only con is that the bottom bread piece was a bit soggy by the time it got to me, but nothing egregious- Best Bird Biscuit (crunchy chicken breast, maple pepper bacon, Mama's bread & butter pickled and honey-butter drizzle on buttermilk biscuit): Liked all the fillings, but the biscuit was a little too crumbly for me- Blue Devil (house-made cashew-almond-peanut butter, blueberries, bananas, almond milk, vanilla whey protein): Really good smoothie, not too sweet- Mocha Latte: I wanted to try another smoothie, but with how cold it was outside, I knew hot coffee was the way to go haha. Good latte, not too sweet which allowed the mocha flavor to shineAmbiance is great; there's indoor seating downstairs & outdoor/covered seating upstairs. There are some parking spaces next to the restaurant, but you'll probably have to street park in the nearby residential area. Service is good; we had a pretty large group so it must have been stressful but they handled it relatively well. 7/10 would recommend!

Very unique restaurant in the heart of Durham! Restaurant is order at the counter and an employee will bring you your food. I ordered the I've Been Chopped salad with honey balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The croutons were the best part because they're made from GRUB biscuits. Prices were very affordable too. The parking lot is SMALL so be prepared to possibly park on the street. The food was good, so I'd go again...but this place needs a good scrub because there were way too many flies inside.

Great place right by Duke gardens and the south-point mall. They have beautiful seating outside on the rooftop! The food was light and filling at the same time it all tasted fresh and not greasy. The service for our food was pretty quick felt like we barely waited. It was a but confusing for our first time bot knowing we had to order at the entrance before choosing our own seating. Overall pretty good place for brunch!

First time trying the Grub Durham. We came to for lunch and I was thrilled to see pancakes on the menu. Who doesn't like pancakes for lunch! Service was fairly quick with a small lunch crowd. I enjoyed the outside rooftop. Far as the food(3.5 stars), it was okay but nothing too special. I may have to come again and try one of the sandwiches on the menu.

Great brunchSecond time I've been here and they make great brunch. Went for the rocket plate which was done right. Sausage was very juicy and taters are crispy. Added on a brioche cinnamon roll which was super soft. A tad sweet but I didn't mind.

What a fun place! Huge, rooftop deck and fun ambiance. An obvious favorite spot for Duke folks, this place is a must visit. First, you stand in line and yes, there will be a line to order your food! Once you get your chance, you are greeted with that Durham charm sprinkled with a bit of sarcasm and wit... Love it! We sat and the food was brought to us quickly. I had the Mama's Big Bird with Greek Couscous. Two pounded out chicken filets, breaded and fried. House made pickles and bacon. Just lovely. Couscous was good as well, next time will opt for the slaw. My wife had the Gobble Down with potatoes. Exactly what she was looking for, delicious! Of course we had a bottle of wine, because why not!?Excellent stop for sure. Worth noting, they are known for their burgers and as I saw them go by, I could see why... Next time!

Came for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was a line to order but it moved pretty quick. The food came out quick as well. I ordered The Rocket from the brunch menu. The eggs and potatoes were great but the turkey sausage was dry and bland. Overall, the food was good enough for the price, and I appreciated the quick service!

Might I say this is the best place the eat lunch in the triangle...A great atmosphere, welcoming staff, and huge menu. The prices are so fair it's almost not fair to Grub! The food was all fresh and yummy. The salad I had was something I'd come back for over and over. I can't wait to try this place for breakfast!! We look forward to coming back!

Great for the college student experience and budget. Love the refurbished old time gas station vibe going on. Pictured is the best part of our breakfast meal- a warm cinnamon roll. In this day and age the breakfast prices were stunningly affordable. Much to love with this Durham gem.
