We went here for a birthday party back in September and had a BLAST.They had brought in Roger Craeger and then Greek Bros catered the entire event (with Bar service). The food, drink and service was top-notch.It really impresses me when one of the owners walks around and asks you how everything was, even in a small town like El Campo, TX.The genuine care and customer service earned a 5-star rating from me.

I have been a regular but infrequent customer of Greek Bros since it opened years ago, and of their prior restaurant over on the Rio Colorado before that, at least 45 years. This is a very nice combo "bistro" for a rural town. The Bar is first-rate, even compared to S A, Austin, N O, or Houston. The oyster bar name is sort of misleading as there is a very full menu both various fire-grilled beef and Gulf seafood, in addition to oysters & great salads. Then, there is an integral "music venue" which often features live C&W & "light" Rock Bands, which draw folks from all over the area.Parking is street-only, but usually not a problem. They stopped smoking a few years back, a blessing. Their management has been super competent, with one of the owners usually on-site and available.BUT, in recent years I have noted a definite progressive decline in food quality. Again, night-before-last , the fried shrimp were a disappointment. Small with soggy, non-adherent batter. Fries were just "OK". As I still frequent this town and patronize many of its businesses, I don't want to quit going to Greek Brothers, but I surely wish their food quality would go back to what it was for decades.Rick .

The restaurant is in a building from the early 1900's so there's a lot to look at. We had seafood entrees--fried oyster for me and bacon wrapped shrimp for my husband. Delicious! Our waitress was helpful and attentive. Altogether a great end to a long day.

Good America fare Great barCover bands on the weekends. A bit pricey cover charge, specially if you don't care for loud bad bands. Service is good. There is no better spot in El Campo and Greek Brother have been in town through thick and thin so Kudos for the Charkalis Family business!

Sometimes when you're upon small towns such as Ganado, YELP and Open Table leads you to gems like this which may not look like much from the outside, but once you enter you're about to be amazed with a full stomach and a smile across your face.We had a team dinner here on a Thursday in mid April to unwind after a hard week's work in Ganado. Since Ganado is a bit short on quality eats, a team member suggested this place as he had been here before. Props to him for recognizing this spot as the food and drinks were excellent here. Since happy hour went until 7, we loaded up on some martinis including the lemon drop and the dirty bird. Those who ordered the lemon drop were buzzing about the flavor and sweetness as it reminded them of their younger days when we all loved any alcohol with sweetness. While I was tempted to give into the peer pressure and order the same, I went with the dirty bird martini to keep it simple. The blue-cheese stuffed olive was a nice touch to the drink since I love olives in my martini. Shaken, not stirred obviously. Each of us ordered entrees which had huge portions and tasty profiles. Deciding between the salmon and catfish supreme, I went with the salmon while the team member who knew this spot got the catfish supreme. While my salmon was delicious with the butter sauce and perfectly cooked veggies, I felt envious of his dish as the catfish looked fried to perfection with the smothered crawfish etoufee on top and rice pilaf/grilled veggie sides. I recall before we started eating, he mentioned he wished he had my salmon instead of his dish. But then we took our first few bites and realized we were happy with what we ordered. Another guy ordered the sliced steak sandwich which came with a dipping gravy; the bread of the sandwich had great texture and held the sandwich well. The other two members ordered the shrimp fettucini alfredo and the chicken primavera. The alfredo smelled amazing and the large char shrimp had us oo'ing and ahh'ing when the plate was placed in front of him. After eating, he mentioned he wishes his wife could make an alfredo like that; but we'll keep that secret between us. The chicken primavera had a melted jack cheese with veggies mixed in and a white wine sauce that was devoured. The guy who ordered it used to work in the restaurant industry and was very complimentary of the dish as something he would order again. We were happy and full after eating. Couldn't believe that a restaurant like this existed in El Campo. I would definitely go out of my way in Houston to drive all the way here to eat here again since the food and drinks were awesome and the atmosphere gave me a western saloon vibe with a modern feel. You can bet that the next time we have an assignment in Ganado or Victoria, we're gonna be back here eating and drinking our stresses away!

Food is good, great chefs, sadly hostesses and most servers have terrible attitudes, and slow. Just come with this in mind, and you will have a good time, because you will need to wave and call your server a lotThere are not a lot of places in this little town. So we come here often to "people watch" from our experience, If you drink, this is the place, they have a full bar, and when they have performers the place "lights up" great place to "hang" with friends, not so much for families with young kids, or kids at all, seems like most servers do not like kids at the tables. As I said, food is great, but if you are hungry get "an appetizer" somewhere else and tgen come here relaxed

We ate at Greek Bros. on January 9, 2024. We were there to celebrate my birthday. I had the fettuccini alfredo with chicken and my husband had the fried oysters. The food was awesome and our waiter Terrell was the bomb!! He was very entertaining and made my birthday dinner even better along with the sangria. Terrell found out it was my birthday and brought me cheesecake and sang happy birthday. Thank you Greek Bros and Terrell for making my birthday dinner awesome!!Karen Mauritz

My Husband and I ordered the seafood platter which was extremely salty.. it included catfish .. not sure if it was catfish because it was catfish nuggets or swai!! We decided to turn it in and after reconsidering, since we were going to have to pay, we substituted and reordered something of less value since we couldn't eat the salted dish. We waited for an hour before the waiter returned with the new order. When she brought us the ticket, nothing was taken off (fish). (Funds)We explained everything to her and she directed us to the manager.. the manager charged us for 2 small oysters 2 shrimp and a catfish nuggets ..so we were charged by the pieces !!! REALLY! Mind you the service was very poor and was very slow and we really tried to be patient in the meantime.. we decided that we didn't want the replacement dish since they were charging us for it and also for the salty seafood platter! this was not the experience that we wanted or expected .. At any other establishment.. the meal would have been taken off .. period.!! We Will not be going to this establishment and would not recommend it to anyone else..
