New/Old spot in Stockbridge that is really good. Last time we came it was under another ownership. This owner also owns place in Austell under the same name. My wife had Rib tips and I had the beef. Both were great and sides were good as well. We both had cabbage and Mac and cheese but my wife also got the yams. All in all was a great meal, owners were very friendly and service was great. We will be back!

First time trying this place and I didn't get a full picture of my food. Oxtails were a little tough but were seasoned well and only I received 2 spoonfuls of rice. Think I had more Oxtails than rice but I guess I can't complain about that lol. The squash and black eyed peas were flavorful. My sweetie had Baked chicken, I didn't get a picture of that. He said the chicken wasn't really seasoned,the dressing was dry and the mac n cheese was copy/paste (his words lol). He said the peach cobbler was delicious. Maybe we caught them on an off day ‍

If the place has good taste in music, I love it!!! The guy that was there was very helpful with letting us know the specials, and what he recommends. The greens and yams were great

The food was amazing. I ordered dark meat baked chicken, green beans and mac. My husband ordered white meat baked chicken, green beans and yams. The environment was great and the service was amazing.

Everyday this spot is a hit... the best soul food on I-75 South... The meats are seasoned to perfection and the sides are always on point as well... And too top everything off they keep a good variety of moist desserts...

1st time, ordered on DoorDash, food was great but they got my order wrong 2nd time went in person and the Mac n cheese was nottt good. So dry and not cheesy like the first time. It's like they be switching cooks or something.3rd time in person again, the fish was not fried thoroughly. I'm not always one who wants extra crispy, but the fish was legit not done. Undercooked. The okra was really good. Candied yams are a disappointment. Cabbage was okay, a bit salty.

The food was bland with little to no seasoning, the corn bread was good though! The customer service was decent, they store was very clean though

My first time here. Owner was really nice and helpful. The Mears looked great but I needed vegetables. Got cabbage. Collards. Green beans and squash. All needed a bit more seasoning. Liked cabbage and greens better than squash. Green beans ok. Corn bread muffin good. I will come back for more and try oxtails or turkey wings Priced right too.

My daughter ordered the beef tips and rice. She said they were not her favorite but not bad. I tasted them and I liked them way better than my food. I got the bbq chicken. I was very disappointed that it was a leg quarter only. I prefer thighs only. I feel like an option would have been nice. Then the chicken was a little tough and the flavor just wasn't great. Me and my daughter got Mac n cheese and collards. We both agreed the Mac n cheese is bland. She said the collards were ok. I feel like the collards were way too salty. Then the lady that checked us out kept asking what we were getting to drink and still got it wrong. I don't know what she was thinking. There's only tea and lemonade where she fixes it. The rest are bottles or cans. My daughter wanted tea and she asked her if she wanted lemonade. My daughter said no sweet tea. Then she fixed her a lemonade. Then when she went to fix it, the owner told her to give us the lemonade since she made the error and she didn't hand the drink back. He ended up having to hand it to us.
