Good Fellas Grill & Sports Bar

Friendly neighborhood bar with great food and is easy on the wallet. I spent a lot of time here when I lived in Sanford, where there is very little or nothing to do besides go to a bar for night time entertainment. This place was my favorite out of the 3 or 4 other bars/nightclubs in the area.The waitstaff is very nice and the locals are great but beware of bar fights once it gets late.

Found hair in my food a few times but great tasting food. Was eating there everyday for work until I start finding the cooks hair in my food here and there.

I'll break this down into 2 categories. 1. Food. They claim to have the best wings in town. My experience is that they are a 3/10. I've had better wings at Walmart. I also ordered a cheeseburger. The bun was extremely dry and the burger was mediocre. Better burgers at McDonald's. It took the kitchen staff almost 30 minutes to prepare my wings and burger. 2. Service. If it weren't for the guy working behind the bar, I'd rather this lower. I sat at a table and my "waitress" was very "cold". After 5 minutes, she finally asked me for my drink order. She promptly brought it over with a menu and then I didn't see her for another 10 minutes. I finally got my order in and I never saw her at my table again. She proceeded behind the bar and chatted with 3 other customers without helping anyone else for the next 30 minutes. As I said, if it weren't for the guy behind the bar I would have rated this place a 1. He checked on me once and refilled my drink. I had to get his attention to get the check, but once I did, he was quick.Again, this is just MY opinion of this place from this occurrence. They maybe better and quite possibly have better staff than the woman who"served" me.I'll never return.

The place is alive and kicking with plenty of booze and food.So go get your shine boxes!

Good Fellas is a hidden gem when it comes to hotdogs!! Had a Chicago style for first time and I'm definitely doing it again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience!

My wife and I have given the place a lot of business, but no more. Went there for lunch, and was very disappointed with the service. We had been there about 10 minutes, and had not had anyone come to the table. About that time two regulars can in and sat down close to us. The wattress came out with two beers and took their order. This isn't the first time this has happened. It was lunch time and they were busy, BUT there wasn't enough staff and the 3 wait persons that were there were in no hurry. We saw a couple standing around grab assing with the customers. Being short handed isn't a new development for this place either. Needless to say...we left.

Bar none the best wings in the area. Staff is friendly and prices are easy on the budget.

Everything in here is sticky. Service takes absolutely forever and atmosphere is not clean. They gave me the wrong order which i looked past but my food was disgusting. Had to get up to find someone to pay my bill. Do not recommend

Great food and service! We are repeat customers and love going here on the weekends! We have a great time with friends each time!!

Vacationing in Sanford, went to Dodge City steakhouse, had the absolute WORST experience, and nearest ribeye was Good Fellas. We brought our little girl, had an excellent meal, and were treated like family! Yes, it would be my choice of bar to hang with adults before a restaurant I would take my kid to, but it served its purpose, and we had full bellies and had fun! It was nice to laugh about the debacle at the other restaurant, and we came out ahead! Friendly service, great food, great fun time!
