Gold Bar Thai Cuisine

Really. 4.5. Decided to take a drive and enjoy the beauty of the day. I don't know why but my tummy seems to think this means food. If you follow me, you suspect that's probably true. We were a little hungry but also has dinner plans. What to do?! fortunately for us we drove by Gold Bar Thai. I mean who doesn't love pad Thai? Supporting an independent business - fantasticWhen we walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Certainly a good omen.We were warmly greeted and seated quickly. The menu is pretty extensive and I think the next time, because yes, there will be a next time, we will order a few items to try and come hungry We decided to split the pad Thai and had Thai iced tea. It was very good. Plenty of food for the both of us and very flavorful. The owner was there, and he was so pleasant. Wonderful service, kind and sort of guy you say gosh I'd like to have him as a neighbor. Next time I'll try some of the other selections because they sounded amazing.

Nice addition to Gold Bar. Our Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and Crab Rangoons were all tasty. The dishes are little on the heavier, oiler side, but they are still good.Space is clean but just a tad bit sterile as far as style. Few embellishments and decorations exist in such a large space.Worth a visit.

Great food and service. The mango dessert was delish, also the noodle dish I had with a meat and vegetables was great!

We got chicken satay and pad thai after a hike in the area. Service was quick and folks were very nice. Prices were very economical for the portions.

Food is absolutely amazing, honestly. It's very full of flavor I got the Laab gah, Tom kha, pad Thai, and what LOOKS like house made crag Rangoon... everything was full to the brim with flavor, pad Thai is better than the zaap Thai truck can't say anything about the service yet because we got it To-go, but please give it a try I highly doubt you're king to be sorry thank you for the amazing food fr ‍

Absolutely delicious food. We are (very) frequent fliers and the food is consistently amazing. Yellow Curry and Cashew Nut are our favorites. Tends towards the spicier side - so if you're unsure, ask for one less star. The owners are so kind and such hard workers. We love Gold Bar Thai!

This place is so delicious, I'm so happy with their Pho and the service was great. The nam tok salad was yummy too. We weren't a fan of the fried rice tho, it was overcooked unfortunately.

A Sky Valley gem and currently a best-kept secret. The food here is better than any Thai restaurant cuisine I've had in Seattle or surrounding area - including the place in the next town over. Ultra chill space with a full bar and excellent for large groups or just yourself. I was here with a group of 22 (after rafting) and they accommodated us right away with no sacrifice to service, quality or affordability. Fresh and unique recipes - I'm a huge fan.

I tried out Gold Bar with some friends after a quick morning hike to Wallace Falls and we were all pleasantly surprised by the food here! There were also plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. I ordered the Thai iced tea and Pad thai with a 3/5 spice level. Coming from someone who can tolerate some spice, I'd suggest playing it safe with a lower spice level as the food is quite spicy here. But otherwise, the food was very flavorful and the portion sizes are great for the price. I loved the thai tea and I'm not sure if they added condensed milk or a different sweetener but it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.Highly recommend dropping by if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite!

Tonight was my third trip to Gold Bar Thai and the food never disappoints. Many reviewers say they found this gem on their way to STEVENS Pass for skiing or returning home. For me it has become a destination restaurant- well worth the 1 hour drive. Yes- the food quality is exceptional. I have had two of their authentic Panang and Massanan curries. Superb flavors and large portions, so come hungry. After I gulped down two delicious huge fresh vegetable spring rolls a patron told me to try the Pho Noodle Soup. I did and the kitchen staff nailed it! I added shrimp to the beef bone broth and to make it extra spicy added two spoons of hot sauce to spike it to a 5+ star!- such a good burn if spicy is your thing. An ice cold bottle of Rainier from their newly expanded bar was a welcome reprieve. Service was awesome and friendly. I highly recommend!
