Gibney's Pub

I went in during off hours (late afternoon), but it was fine. Service from the bartender was nice, I enjoyed my chicken pot pie (it wasn't, like AMAZING, but this is a pub), and overall it was a lovely stop on a rainy day.Some of these reviews are a bit bonkers--I'm sure that it gets busy during Cons and such, but I can't imagine them actively trying to steal credit cards.I'd stop in here again.

This place has never disappointed when in Atlanta. This burger is outstanding!! The FF have even been improved. Service remains fast. The place plays great music and there are plenty of TVs.This is a MUST GO IN ATLANTA! Burger was so good, I didn't even add Heinz ketchup!

I was in town for a convention and stopped in for lunch and a beer. This spot is lovely. Very large space and good service. I had the honor of meeting the owner while I was exploring the space. Food was standard for a bar, filling and atypical. I just really enjoyed the atmosphere.

I meant to say... this place looks like an Irish pub from the outside , but it's not! The indoor decor was not like an Irish pub, nor was the food or drinks.

Service was friendly and prompt. Nice atmosphere with a decent number of strategically placed TV's. Food was good. The Avocado Chicken Sandwich was yummy so we're the fish and Chips (though they could of been taken out of the fryer 1-2 minutes earlier if I'm being picky) A very tasty Ruben sandwich also. The wings were a bit dry and over cooked. The food in Atlanta, and this is no exception, is rather heavy on the salt but paired with a cold beer, it was a great experience all around.On our 2nd visit, the artichoke pizza was really really good. They forgot 2 beers on our bill and when we brought it up to the manager, he compt it without hesitation. Class Action which was very much appreciated. A++

I was excited to try some of the things I saw on Yelp. I guess the menu had changed. Lol. When you are hungry everything looks good. I could not decide. My friend had a burger that looked really good. I had Frito Pie. Everything was good and staff was nice. I want to go back and try the Fish and chips. They do not provide tangible menus so make sure your phone is charged. . .

I wanted to get a nice beer at lunch and what beer place than Gibney's pub. A short walk from most hotels downtown on the first floor of the Peachtree center. It is a nice pub vibe and decorated with tons if signs and a nice bar to sit at. There is a newer golden tee golf here and billiards as well. Not busy during my visit. They had many types of beer on tap but I wanted a black and tan and it was very smooth. Really enjoyed it. I decided on a very un pub like BBQ sandwich. It was actually quite tasty and was a very good quality pulled pork and a not too sweet nor spicy BBQ sauce. The fries were excellent crisp and tasty as well. It also comes with a small portion of Cole slaw as well. The service was friendly and quick and I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Nice little olace near the hotel I am staying in. Food was good and it has the small pub vibe. Service was a little slow but the server was working hard. The food took some time to come out. Overall a goid experience.

I went on a Friday and Saturday night. Stayed at marquis and easy to walk to. They had several craft beers on tap, atmosphere was really busy Friday night due to the last night of a convention nearby. Saturday was more relaxed and watched a college football game while hanging with a couple of friends. Our server Isabel was attentive and interactive with us throughout the night.

Me: Can I order a modelo, chicken strips, blue cheese and ketchup?Bartender: yesBrings chicken strips with no sauce Me: Can I get blue cheese and ketchup?Bartender brings honey mustard and ketchup. He only got 2 out of 4 items right. After asking twice. Fail. At least the beer was cold.
