I am not sure what has happened to this place. The chicken wings had blood present. I called and got a nice nasty attitude from the owner's wife. I had my daughter to take the wings back, along with the box macaroni, and receipt. Why did these ghetto Fabolous people low-key drill my daughter and ask who ate the French fries? Additionally, they wrote on the receipt the money was refunded to my cash app. Cash App, refunds immediately and one day later it is still not present.Of course I called and the owner tells me it was refunded. As if I am trying to scam. Look at the bigger picture, I have purchased two plates from your restaurant for $32. One plate had raw chicken and awful mac n cheese. Revisited your establishment and you had the audacity to interrogate my daughter when she brought the raw food back and reciept. We have been inconvenienced beyond the max and still no refund. The money for me is not the issue. If it was I would have never purchased the plates originally. The issue lies when you try to support Black Owned Businesses that lack the business aspect. Learn to not think everyone want something for free, maybe they just want what they paid for or you to honor the refund.Keep the $13.55 for the raw returned wings and macaroni. If you that hard up that you have to scam your patrons perhaps need to regroup and retry when you are better organized.I really wished I took a pic of the chicken, but I honestly did not think they would respond the way they did.

I'm going, to be honest. I'll never order from this restaurant again; this was my first time placing an order here and my last. The fish is frozen and disgusting. Tl;dr: Tasty fried chicken with a great seasoning mix and helpful staffCalled in an order for some wings after work and was told that they only have jumbo wings -- not an issue. I'll take a jumbo version of something that I had my mind on! I also ordered it with potato salad and fries (so that I could snack on some fries on the way home, heh). The wings came out perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious batter. The actual chicken were well seasoned and not dry at all! I've seen some reports of the chicken having blood in it which may have been cook/user error as to not burn the outside, but not my order. The potato salad was delicious! It was perfectly creamy and chunky in the right places. The fries were standard crinkle-cut fries which aren't my favorite but after a long day with no lunch... I'd take any fried potato product. The gentleman who helped me was kind and was open to me asking questions as it was my first time there. I just moved to the area so I think this will be my go-to fried chicken wing joint.

Happy with our food choices. We ordered the two choice combo catfish and trout. Came with two pieces of each and all four pieces were decent size. Sides were potato salad and coleslaw. Potato salad size was good. Coleslaw size was dinky. Also included 4 hush puppies. Everything was hot/steaming when I picked up my order and food tasted great. Phoned ahead but still had to wait about 15 minutes for my order. We also ordered a shrimp box with fries. Nice size order of both shrimp and fries. Taste was also great. Nothing was greasy and not over cooked. Trout ends were a little crispy but the rest of the fish was soft and flaky. Will order from GGs again. They were busy. Mostly pick up orders. Only one person seated to eat in. Small place. Maybe 6 tables? I would continue to order take out. Don't be discouraged by the 4 star rating. Places have to totally go beyond expectations to get a 5 star. Support this local store and keep it around.

After reading the few negative reviews on this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food. The interior is a little dingy, and I think even after Covid is no longer an issue I will probably always take my food to go. That side the food was tasty. I ordered the tilapia which came with two pieces of fried tilapia hush puppies and your choice of two sides. The fish was flavorful and not greasy at all. The fries were crispy with a good seasoning. I will definitely be trying this place again

I have faith in this restaurant... they almost have it. When I look at this place I'm thinking I'm getting home cooked fully .... The chicken was over fried. Mac and cheese had complaints about blandness... but pepper, salt and garlic powder didn't help the situation... I wanted some real Mac and cheese. This instant over cooked pasta... I wouldn't give to my kids. The canned green beans need help. Fried okra just needed salt it had no seasoning. I know if it was actually cooked food this place can be busy.

Second time back for more. Fried mushrooms were very good,my chicken wings were tasty and not greasy. Girlfriend got the oyster sandwich and it was good! Not overcooked and excellently prepared with grilled onions. Will be coming back again.

i went here twice within the same week. the food was excellent. i got the trout sandwich combo and then the cat fish combo. you wait while they cook your food and it is very hot and good. 2 pieces of trout and 1 piece of cat fish

I will NEVER eat from this place again! The fish is TERRIBLE. Doesn't taste like fish...the catfish was mushy inside and thee potato salad tastes sour. This place doesn't deserve 1 star.
