We got this food truck when we want to the Zinc House winery yesterday. The portion sizes were decent and we only waited about 10-15 minutes for the food. We had the lobster ravioli, spinach ravioli, and Mac and cheese. All of the pastas were tasty but had too much sauce for the amount of pasta you received. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the pasta dishes, but they were very good!

I'd never heard of this food truck before until they were at a private event I was at recently. I'm happy to say I really enjoyed the food and how pleasant the staff is. I had the Italian sausage sandwich. The meat is a bit spicy as stated on the menu, but tolerable, IMO. The bread was nice and soft and the peppers and onions were cooked perfectly. I had a little red sauce added that was tasty, but could have been thicker. I also got an order of meatballs and penne to go. I had a little taste and there was plenty of flavorful sauce and the meatballs are very tasty. It comes with a soft Italian bread. So nice to become acquainted with them and will have to follow them now on streetfinder. I'd like to try more items off their menu. Their huge catering menu looks fantastic, by the way.

Great Italian food at this food truck. Tried the fare at our neighborhood Tuesday Food Truck.Shout out for strong service. I pre-ordered online (easy and straightforward) and pre-scheduled pickup. Later I had to call to change the pickup time. They accommodated the change without skipping a beat and the food was ready on time and piping hot. Thank you! The sausage sandwich is a 9" roll stuffed with sweet Italian sausage, sauteed peppers and onions and topped with a sweet marinara sauce. The sauce is unusually sweet, a unique taste. The sandwich is adorned with freshly grated parmesian cheese. I had to use a fork, this one is sloppy. But delicious. Also tried the screwed up mac n cheese combo, which comes with meatballs. The mac is excellent - corkscrew pasta in a 3 cheese sauce sprinkled with ground sausage. Pasta is al dente, not overcooked. Sauce creamy. Just enough sausage to add to the taste combination without being overpowering. Meatballs are nicely sized, well seasoned, tender and dense. They're served in a traditional marinara sauce - not the same sweet sauce as the sausage sandwich. The sauce is GREAT for dipping the hunk of Italian bread that's included. Good stuff - check out this truck next time they're in you neighborhood.

Bonus points for specializing in Italian flavors. As I looked over the menu, the owner mentioned the meatballs are made fresh every morning. Well Okay. Sold.Parmesan cheese must be an option as he asked if I wanted it added, but really... Italian without Parmesan is like mac and cheese without the cheese, isn't it? The Italian roll is an expected complement but is a lot of bread. Normal though for an Italian inspired sandwich, I think. The meatballs are a great size (more than 2 bites each unless you're with someone who .... oh never mind... I almost went somewhere with a thought that wouldn't be nice) and four of them was plenty even without the roll. With a choice of a side of chips or doritos, you'll get a decent meal served by friendly folk excited about their menu.Veteran owned and operated (a tipjar with the Marine Corps logo will cue you in if you don't notice the writing on the truck), Gettin Sauced is a welcome change of pace from the plethora of bbq and taco trucks.Since I came across this truck at a local brewery, I can confirm that Italian food goes with both beer and wine, but I'm not a purist except about Parmesan and Italian food.

Solid Italian American food! We had the meatball sub, sausage & pepper sub, and mac & cheese. Everything was great! And fantastic people. I'll definitely be watching their schedule.

Very disappointing. Said homemade Italian food so was excited to try it but it was a huge letdown. Tasted like jar sauces and frozen meatballs. The Mac and cheese was not good either. Served the food with cheap bread from the grocery store.

This food truck was at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC and I ordered the lobster ravioli with white wine cheese sauce! OMG! It was heavenly! I savored every bite! I wish they would come to Catawba County where I live! They were awesome!

I happened to visit them in Wilmington, NC when they were at the Poplar Grove Christmas Festival and it was the best decision I made that day. My wife and I both got lunch and it was worth every penny we spent and more!! I got the meatball and Mac and cheese combo and my wife got the raviolis. The portions are perfect and the food is amazing! I base my opinions of places on whether I would buy a t-shirt from it. Let me tell you - I would buy 2 shirts from this place ... that is how good it is.

Tried out the Gettin Sauced Food truck at a local brewery. Tried the cheese ravioli and lasagna with meatballs. The sauce was surprising, more of a fresh tomato style instead of a simmered down for long hours sauce. That was fine with me as I like that style of sauce, unfortunately this one could benefit from a bit more seasoning as while it was very pretty it was somewhat one note. I added some Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and it was much improved with that addition. The ravioli was also quite average, not sure if they make it in house or if it is a prepackaged or frozen product but it was fine ... nothing spectacular. I will add that the food was picked up and had to travel approximately 8-10 minutes home in styrofoam containers so that probably affected the quality of the ravioli slightly as they are best super hot and it was lukewarm upon arrival due to the packaging. The lasagna was again decent but nothing I would go out of my way to get again. I was a bit disappointed that the bread they serve is plain and untoasted , no butter or garlic. Meatballs were ok as well, fairly dense and maybe a bit dry but served with plenty of sauce to counter that which was nice. My daughter picked the food up and she said the service was very quick, about an 8 minute wait even though they had lots of orders. Server seemed very nice and helpful. Overall I would call it an average experience, not bad at all but nothing spectacular.
