Overview of the main dining area
We dined at Gattara for the first time for a double date over the weekend and had a wonderful time.
Wide spaced large high tops -- perfect for some what private conversation with large group
The meatballs were nice & meaty in flavor - a very hearty starter.
The New World Pepperoni pizza blew us away - it was so good and a must order when dining at Gattara.
Warm and cozy, atmosphere filled with cat lady inspired art
Warm, rich & creamy - each large, square ravioli held a smooth filling of lobster & cheese.
The Lobster Ravioli was made with cream, tomato conserva, arugula, & lemon oil.
The Meatballs Bolognaise were made with tomato conserva, grana padano, and served alongside grilled ciabatta.
The burrata was milky, prosciutto gorgeously salty, & the tomatoes bright.
The Crispy Calamari was made with arugula, tomato jam, and lemon preserve.
The bread pudding had our mouths watering. The dessert was baked to perfection and had a wonderful cakey, custardy texture.
The sautéed shrimp were mildly sweet and went well with the nuttiness from the parmesan alfredo sauce.
The Burrata E Prosciutto was made with grilled ciabatta, prosciutto, tomato, tomato jam, and arugula.
Margherita pizza
Inside
The Salmone Alla Griglia was made with pesto risotto, cherry tomato, zucchini, roasted peppers, grana, & sweet balsamic glaze.

FOODSpaghetti Frutti de Mare: Calamari, mussels, and shrimp, garlic, white wine, Pomodoro sauce . Seafood comes in great size and portion and very yummy. Seafood is fresh and quality. The sauce is drizzled over well to where it's not overpowering but I will say a bit more sauce would have been preferable.VIBES The place is pretty new. There is a lot of lighting from the windows. There is a bar seating, booths, tables and chairs. Patio seating is also available. The design is very contemporary and gives like rich family home type of vibes. SERVICEThe person serving our table, Nathan, was really nice with explaining everything and being patient while we were ordering. Food was brought out relatively quickly!

An Italian restaurant that cannot get the staples such as pizza and pasta right is so bad. I would not recommend unless they made some serious improvements. PROS: lots of street parking in the area. The inside has really cute decor and spacious. There's also a really nice outdoor patio. Service was great- attentive and friendly! CONS - cleanliness needs to be improved. Immediately upon sitting down we realized how sticky and disgusting the tables were. All the tables had the same stickiness. Also when I stood up, there was some white sauce or something on my pants on my butt area, meaning the chairs were nasty too. I am so disappointed with the food. We ordered:SPAGHETTI CARBONARA - I could tell this was going to be bad the second the serve put this plate down on our table. Pasta was mushy and over cooked. Pasta sauce typically is smooth and silky. The carbonara sauce we got was lumpy scrambled eggs. Just take a look at the picture I posted. It did not look good or taste good. I don't understand how both the chef and server looked at our pasta and agreed it was good to be served??SALSICCIA PIZZA - pizza was overly soggy in the middle. The cheese and toppings all fell off when I went to pick up a slice. And it was incredibly bland. The taste gave nothing. I felt like it also didn't have enough sauce but even if they did add sauce, it would still be bland. CRAB CAKE - this was probably the only edible thing we had. The crab cake itself was small but it was actually pretty good. It was placed on top of a sauce similar to spicy mayo. On the side was an arugula salad with a strong lemony dressing. It was good but may have been a bit too much lemon. I appreciate the 2 slices of peaches that were on the plate but it was pretty random and seemed like such an after thought.

It was a family lunch with my adult daughter after she had just come back from an overseas vacation. She had lots of stories to tell me so to have a nice time with her, I wanted the place to be more than casual. Solid 4 star reviews of Gattara appeared promising when I looked it up on Yelp as the photos to show its ambience looked good. Maybe my anticipation was too high (I should have shown up without any??) but 4-star is simply an overstatement. It's like a rock band that everyone raves about but the fact is, it's so pretentious. Hence, my honest rating of this restaurant is 2.5 star (but I'm giving it 3 to be generous.)Service: it was a little after 11am. The restaurant had barely people in it but service was slow and barely basic. There was a single gentleman (appeared to be a hotel guest; this really is in Warwick Hotel) who appeared to have waited for a GOOD amount of time before he got his food. He even stood up to grab an attention of some worker to ask where his food was before he finally got his food. It didn't take too long to finish his food but once he was done with it, he asked for a check which he had to wait for. He actually had to leave the premises to go back to his car (for his meter??) so he could come back to his table to pay for his tab was the improvement I got. This slowness of service was (unfortunately) extended to me/us. After a female worker (she was the only person in the restaurant who was attentive and nice) filled our glasses with water while I was awaiting my daughter to arrive, she said, "Your server will be right with you." There was at least ten (plus) minutes before our waiter finally came to our table. As my daughter hadn't arrived yet at that point, I asked for a cup of some coffee product (he then told me the only thing the restaurant could make was Americano. Wait, this Italian restaurant can only serve Americano but they can't make cortado or cappuccino or latte??? Very strange..) I had no choice but to order Americano. Well, turns out, this Americano exceeded my expectations. This was the only thing though that was more than decent. Our waiter only came to us to take our orders. He didn't come to ask us how everything tasted or if we wanted a dessert after our meal, you know, those basic things a typical waitestaff asks. He absolutely had no smile on his face; he was just doing absolutely minimal/minimum to get by.)Food: I've already mentioned about Americano that was more than decent. Two plates we ordered (once my daughter arrived) were Dilicata Salad with salmon add-on ($27) and Meatballs ($13). The arugula in the center had more than necessary amount of salt in it. The restaurant should go a bit easier on the salt. Overall though, this dish doesn't simply live up to what's described on the menu. Again, this is a pretentious rock band that is simply overrated for the kind of price for lunch. The meatballs, however, were decent. Although one thing about them was the fact that it may have sat at the kitchen counter for at least 5 to 10 minutes before it reached our table as the meatballs were barely warm. My daughter's mocktail was nothing but sour; its appearance disguised as a quality concoction. I wasn't impressed...Ambience: Despite what I had to say above, I'm happy to say that this place gets a decent score in this category. Spacious and clean is what many will notice. Cat-themed artworks and decors are seen throughout; I find this cute. They also have a spacious patio space. The bar area also appeared nice. Definitely a good place to sit and grab a drink solo or with someone. I wouldn't bother coming back to Gattara driving from my DTC neighborhood just to dine for a simple lunch or dinner. I can simply find something equivalent or even better in my direct neighborhood saving time and gas.

We went there for lunch on a Sunday and not many people at all. We got seated right away. There's a lot of seating in this restaurant. The decor is very nice. There's also seating out in the back that's more romantic with sofas and fire place. Limited lunch menu so we favored ordering the pizza. We ordered the meatball appetizer and two pizzas. The margarita, pizza and the fig and mushroom pizza. Both were very tasty. For dessert we ordered tiramisu which was also good. Prices were ok.

Excellent wood-fired pizza and a great Happy Hour menu. Loved the patio dining area, and service was attentive even though we were the only diners outside. All that we could've hoped for in a simple, fresh, comforting meal.

I ate here on the short trip to Denver and I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and it was amazing! I would love to go back. We had a large party but the service was still good.

Gattara is a pretty space inside a boutique-looking hotel. The dining area is pretty spacious and they also have a wood fired pizza oven.I come here most for happy hour. There's is decent, with drink and food options. The HH food is extra small portions, so it's kinda "happy" hour but might be the actual price of a meatball from a whole meal, maybe, lol. There's a bartender there I really like but service overall has always been very good. This is another spot I learned about from a Yelp event. These events pay off with repeat business!! :)Fun fact, this was the last place I was out at in 2019 for brunch before the world shut down. I'll always remember that and being one of like only 2-3 other tables for like 3 hours, it was crazy!

Came here in a big group and we all loved it so much! We were a group of 12 and the staff helped us with a large table perfect for everyone. Our staff was super helpful and patient with our big group. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. Our table got two bottles of wine and they were so good. Lots of people in our group took to go boxes because we had so much food left. The espresso martini was delicious! If you check in you get a discount which was nice too!

I can't wait to go back! Bring all your friends here and you won't regret it. The happy hour prices really do feel like happy hour. We came in on a Wednesday at 4:30 and there were plenty of street parking as well as it wasn't busy at all inside. There is a wall inside that has paw prints and lots of cat decor. Got sat right away and started to order. The minute we got to ordering! We started off with the flight of bruschetta. Now when I tell you that it was delicious that doesn't even begin to describe the full explosion of flavor that we got hit with. Then came the muscles (pro tip: Ask for the bread because you will don't the sauce go to waste because it tastes so good) when our entrées arrived I had the lobster ravioli and my friends had the zucchini shrimp risotto. I do wanna say that you do get five large raviolis, which they dump a whole bunch of Lettuce mixture that I didn't care for. We then finished off the evening by getting dessert, which was also yummy. Our waiter was very tentative to all of our needs.
