Full Street Wings Cafe

The absolute best wings in Durham and it's not even close. I've been rocking with Chef Carmen for a half a decade now for both catering orders (large and small), as well as meal prep. What she offers is something dissimilar to anything you'll find in the triangle: Grilled wings.Full Street gives you totally grilled wings, but they still give you a ton of moistness to them. The go to sauce is undoubtedly the "Sweet Heat," which is a medium spiced hot garlic sauce with huge chunks of fresh garlic mixed in. Diverse in sauces, Full Street can do just about anything you want in terms of catering orders, but may only have limited sauces on the truck since they're all house made. Furthermore, if doing a large catering order, you can also request particular spice levels if you've got a fixin' for a hurting (I enjoy getting my Sweet Heat extremely hot). I just recently got the Jerk wings as well, which were definitely on point, blending robust Caribbean flavors with the right amount of spice.IF wings aren't your thing, Full Street offers different stuff as well. I've had their Lobster cakes with house made remoulade and macaroni (seemed like it was made with about 8 different cheeses). Both were to die for.Definitely worth checking out if the truck is in your neck of the woods, or simply if you want to have some people over for a killer dinner!

Had the pleasure of hiring her for my husbands bday dinner. She came to our home and made an amazing meal! Must do it again!

I am a local wedding planner and I recently worked with Full Street Wings as the wedding cater. Carmen was extremely professional and helpful in helping my December 2020 couple navigate planning their wedding during COVID. The event staff was very helpful and attentive during the event. They also helped make sure the entire event ran smoothly. I would highly recommend using Full Street Wings for your upcoming wedding or any other event!

Sweet Heat Sauce is amazing!!!! The food was absolutely amazing, one of my new favorite food trucks. The food was piping hot, delicious and the service was impeccable. The prices were phenomenal and you got plenty of food for the price. All three dishes were fantastic and my photos don't even do justice.

I ordered the Zesty Jalapeno wings today to give this truck a try. They were cooked perfectly -- tender and juicy. The sauce was perfection, as evident by me eating it off of the tray after the wings were done. One of my wings was pathetically scrawny to the tune of half the girth of the other two.

Let us just say this is top of the line service, meal preparation and presentation. We had a catered late lunch for four ladies.When I say "everything was wonderful", believe me. Where do I begin? Carmen and I met a few years back while my brother Sol Fuzion and Full Street Catering partnered for an event in Durham for the Black Chamber of Commerce. She then began doing some Wonderful work with Step Up Ministry where I serve on the Board of Directors. She even purchased a copy of my book, "35 Principles on the Road to Redemption: My Journey to Me. I had been trying to book Carmen Rice Settles Full Street Catering for at least a year or so. The schedules and timing just didn't allow it. However, I took a shot in the dark and on short notice called my friend and she obliged. The rest is History and she created a Historical Evening for us. From the time she arrived the Vibe was in Motion! Professionalism, Charisma, Technical Culinary Knowledge, Humor, Humility, Genuineness all at the Highest Levels. Four Courses of Culinary Ecstasy! She Blew Yuranda's Mind! Each Course Broken down and Explained so that we Understood what our Palettes were experiencing. Wine Pairing Perfection. Yuranda is a Selective Wine Drinker. Carmen Nailed it with a Perfect Moscato. Enter Sam King the Saxophonist. My sister Tiffany Ivy connected me with Mr. King. I originally was seeking a Cellist or Violinist. I was wrong. Sam was Perfect. The food was great. Best grilled wings in town. Definitely will be eating there on a regular basis.
