Fuji Steak House

Ordered takeout on my way through Goldsboro heading to Mount Olive. The staff was very kind and attentive. I ordered the hibachi vegetable and was surprised with how flavorful the rice was. You could eat it plain!.. which is what I should have done. The white sauce had a tangy taste to it, which I am not a fan of at all. Ruined half of my rice. Other than this, the portions were nice, especially at the lunch price point.

Don't know how anyone can rate this restaurant less than a 5+. The service is above average for Goldsboro and the food knocks it out of the park. This is my wife and my go to place, we have never been disappointed. I order the filet, medium rare and the wife usually goes with the filet medium and shrimp. Both meal's are perfectly cooked and presented, the service is impeccable and you never feel rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant to any all potential customers, you will not be disappointed. We have probably been to Fuji's more than 25 times over the years.

I wanted to try this place for a while. There were quite a few people picking up to go orders like me. However, the food was bland and you only get one white sauce per plate. I ordered the teriyaki chicken meal which came with soup and salad. The salad was wilted and warm due to being in the same bag as the hot food. The rice was dry and needed the white sauce but we weren't given enough. The chicken was dry and only had a little teriyaki sauce. Didn't try the soup. Don't think I'll be going back.

Fuji remains reliable. If you have been a regular over the years, you will find your favorite menu items have not changed a bit! Love everything on their menu except for the miso. Skip that. It is a watery, bland version of a dish that should have much more depth and richness of flavor. Best ginger sauce around! Buy a pint of that and their pink sauce to take home!

Clean place food was excellent great staff very attentive and the prices are very affordable for a nice evening atmosphere did not feel commercial at all

Absolutely disgusting Manager and owner yelled at me insisting I pay even though I had one bite, and that was enough for me to loose my appetite. Cheapest place ever just looking to take your money

Nate was our server. He gave us excellent service and was very welcoming and friendly. The meat was high quality and cooked very good. The rice was really good and the price was very reasonable!

The tea is good. The rice is cold and greasy. The "pork" dumplings are cabbage. The salad is a cup of lettuce with water in the bottom.

My favorite Japanese! Rice is fresh and the steak, chicken and shrimp are cooked perfectly. I ask for extra ginger sauce and white sauce. I love the salad with ginger dressing. This is my go to for lunch or dinner!

I had the steak and shrimp! Delish! I should have had the "imperial" which includes chicken. I'll be back!!
