My friend and I came in on Friday around 10 pm and it was pretty busy but thankfully there's a lot of seating so that wasn't an issue. We just ordered the Fried Rice Noodle with Beef and the Beef Noodle Soup. The beef noodle soup was our favorite. The beef was very tender, the broth was flavorful, and the noodles were very bouncy. There was also bok choi and other pickled vegetables in the dish.As for the fried rice noodle, it wasn't bad but it's not as good as other places that I've been to in Bellaire. The onions were also a little too raw so we had to unfortunately pick it out of the dish so we could eat.The service is pretty bad here and the restaurant was a little dirty but I'd still like to come back for the food and try more dishes. If I were to come here next time, I'd go with a larger group since the portions are family style and I'd be able to try a variety of different dishes.

I'll start with the food. Everything was adequate. We didn't find it to be particularly great nor was it bad by any means. We went here because they were open on new years day!!! Service was fast and friendly although language could be an issue for some people. We had 7 people in our group and they had enough space however this place is not huge. One other large table and 8 booths. Definitely worth a try but with so many other options we may not be back before next new years day! Pan Fried Dumplings. Salt Toasted Tofu. Salt and Pepper Squid.

Mixed feelings. We tried out the steamed pork buns (their soup dumplings) and also their pan fried pork buns. Their pan fried pork buns with the hot chili sauce at the table was good. The steamed pork buns were a little weird though. The meat seemed slimy and uncooked inside it. Didn't finish even want to finish those. Felt sick the next day likely from the undercooked meat.

Long time listener, first time eater. Won't be my last time either. Have seen and heard about Fu Fu for ages, just had a chance to dine there courtesy of my super kind SIL who took me and the whole family out for my birthday. To start off, this is for Fu Fu Restaurant, which happens to be in the same shopping center as Fu Fu Cafe. Unsure if there is any relation, but it sure can add to the confusion. That aside, the food we had that night was finger licking good. And yes, I did eat with my fingers, and yes I did lick them after enjoying the roasted suckling pig. It was swine-divine. The skin was SO crispy, and beyond that, gnawing in the head and getting the succulent part around the jaw was phenomenal. I even schooled my nephew on how to eat the head and leg meat (and honor the whole animal), and he was a natural! Also had the steamed king crab with garlic sauce. It definitely tasted like it was still talking to Sponge Bob just a few minutes earlier. Super fresh, and the seasoning didn't overpower the natural brininess of the crab. The lobster salad was a good dish, almost like a palate refresher. It was good orchestrated with our dishes, but I may not order it on its own accord. The pepper beef was addictive. It's the sort of dish you can just keep nibbling on while throwing back a few cold brewskies. We had several other dishes, but the one that was the most surprising and even among all these great dishes, took first prize for complex flavors and depth. It was the duck soup with morel mushrooms. It was made with what the server described as "old duck", assuming she meant "mature". Well, whether matured or a crusty geriatric bird, I salute it for its sacrifice for such a delicious soup base. Speaking of soup base, it had layers upon LAYERS of flavor. You can taste sweetness, tones of medicinal herbs, savory notes, richness from the duck fat (in the best way), and the earthy mushrooms themselves. I kept going back for taste after taste to allow my tongue to dissect and analyze such a complex profile. Wish I took a pic of it, but there are many from other reviewers. As to the service, our waitress was SUPER nice. Cracked jokes with us, was prompt on serving and dishing things up, couldn't ask for much more.

While this is already a great spot for late night eats, lots of people are unaware of the banquet menus available. They only have 2 private rooms (that can be combined) but you can also reserve a large section of tables out in the main dining room also. Even though the space is small, the menu is on par with the standards of F*ngs, Cr*wn, S*nh S*nh and the like. King Crab is a must - the rice noodles are maybe the best I've had at any multi course banquet dinner.Suckling pig is a nice option that other places don't usually have.Lobster salad is another tasty new to me dishDefinitely give them a shot for your next dinner party!

Surprisingly busy for a smaller cafe. That's how you know the food is good! No reservations here but we got a table right away for our group of 5. The servers here are prompt and helpful with any questions.Great spot for a quick bite if you aren't wanting a full blown dinner.

Came here for the first time last night but it took forever to get our foods. We waited nearly 2 hrs for 4 dishes. The first dishes came probably 30 mins of our order then the last one came close to two hour later. We came kinda late but it was taking too long for sure. The taste was good but it's just time consuming was my first impression. If the restaurant is empty then that could be the best time to come visit.
