Frenchy's Chicken

I actually like this place and have never had an issue ordering from this location. My first time trying out Frenchy's was in the 3rd ward and I really liked it. I got excited when they brought one to Katy. I've been here 4x and the food has been good. You get a lot of fries in your order and the chicken is super crispy.

It has no flavor other than grease!! Even the cornbread was trash. Save not only your money but your stomach too

Always hot and fresh chicken and fish. Can't complain. Kings special is great, 5 wing special is great. Recently tried the fish which was fresh as well!

I must admit I was nervous because of the reviews and let's face it...it's not the original location. The verdict is in:Frenchy's still has it!!! Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. My only 2 gripes: no hot sauce available and remoulade sauce would've been great with boudin balls. I'm convinced the negative reviews are from competitors or folks who want to keep this hidden gem to themselves.

This was the nicest Frenchy's I've ever been to and is was soooo clean. Customer service was top notch and I even was able to call my order in in advance. Next time I'm in Katy, I'll definitely come back!

Where to start. First of all cashier who obviously did not like her job shorted 1 dollar. I had to show her The chicken meal was 8.49 and she gave $10.51 in change. The chicken was just OK- tepid the white meat(breast) was good juicy and crisp but the dark meat(thigh) was flacid and greasy. The roll was plain and stale. The collard greens were under done and lacked seasoning. They need salt, pepper,red chile flake, vinegar and smoke. I asked for pepper, salt and pepper sauce and she said they did not have any.The Jalapeno was good crisp and spicy but the Iced tea had no ice and no tea it was barely colored water with no taste at all. The tables in the dining room-all of them- were covered with a sticky film so you could not eat in the dining room. Over all a most unpleasant experience.

Good freshly fried chicken and sides for quick meal. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Each time my food is hot and flavorful except it may be little salty for others. Overall, enjoyed the food.

Service gets five stars. I was in and out. Food was fresh and came out quick.Much quicker than the usual location I go to near Texas Southern.

4.5 Chicken tenders were cooked to order. Juicy and seasoned well. Fries were fantastic too and substantially more than what other places give in boxes. Only negatives were the mashed potatoes lacked a bit of flavor and they forgot to give us the gris gris sauce which I was excited to try since this was my first time trying frenchys.
