Frenchy's Chicken

Waited until the drive thru for two wings and a thigh repeated the order and they repeated the order I checked my receipt it had my order correct I was pulling my food out the bag to check it my order my husband drove off I check his meal first it was what he ordered. Why did I open mine it was two drumsticks and a thigh??? I hate drumsticks I always get flats but the sell wings whole but to mess it up. We didn't have time to drive back. Check in the drive thru!

This place has really gone down since the last time I was there. The chicken wasn't fresh the fries were nasty. Tasted like the grease hadn't been changed in days. Plus I asked for some hot sauce and they stated they don't carry any.what kinda chicken place don't have hot sauce. I then asked for ranch dressing and was told it would be an upcharge for ranch. So u expect me to eat plain chicken. I already paid 12$ for this chicken and you won't give me any sauce. That's just bad business. They only give ranch if u order chicken tenders.

When I visited this Frenchy's Chicken recently in Atascocita, it was the first time I've been back to any Frenchy's since my school days at the University of Houston. The original Frenchy's was located between UofH and TSU. This experience was different but not disappointing . The chicken is lightly dusted with flour and heavily seasoned the way I like it. Unfortunately the Cajun pepper spices were missing. Gone is the kick that they used to serve on the chicken. I guess this is making it more palatable for broader market.. I'm glad to see that they have things other than seasoned french fries. for example collard greens and mac & cheese are now available. I do miss the spicy chicken but I think I'll get over it because this version of Frenchy's chicken is still moist but not overpowering with the crust and definitely less greasy than the original version 50 years ago

A lot of the local spots, I am faithfully getting in tune with them. When I saw U of H Frenchy's location wrapped around the drive thru to the street, had me thinking what so special about this chicken place. From having Popeyes, and Louisiana Famous, I was wrong about the their taste. This chicken has its own original taste like no other! The sides are not too impressive as I thought, but this chicken, oh boy! You just have to try it.

This was a delivery option at a hotel close to the airport. I have never eaten at or from this establishment so decided Why not it has a 3 rating on Yelp! We were ordering late and had a only few options. This was the some of greasiest fried chicken I have ever had I think, and I liked it! The taste was good although very salty. My companion wanted an extra large order of the mashed potatoes with gravy bits. I am a bit of a mashed potato snob, and these were ugh boxed or otherwise not homemade. Their were no bits in the gravy! Highly disappointed by the mashed potatoes. Companion loved them! It came with a roll that my companion enjoyed as well.

This place is only one out this way the rest are in the houston loop.... best louisiana fried chicken and boudin balls for being fast food it's always delicious and always fresh stop in for yourself the greens are to die for!

As yummy as I remembered from years ago when I lived in Houston! The spice is not too spicy

Frenchy's is By far one of the best fried chicken spots around, The batter is amazing and is not to compare with other fried chicken places, the chicken has such good flavor and very juicy I would put this fried chicken over Popeyes and kfc any day, they also have tenders which are awesome very good flavor and juicy has well, tenders are good option for the kiddos.although I can not say much about the sides are not all that great they are ok. the mash potatoes and gravy is good but nothing to brag, the fries are good but nothing brag either but would prefer the fries. I have been here a few times and the chicken never fails, I have taken some of my folks from out of town here if they were in the mood for fried chicken and they were impressed. I don't like the location of this Frenchy's it looks a bit sketchy in a gas station, the area is not all that great.definitely here for the chicken only I recommend it.

Up until now, I have had no problems with this location. Their food is always amazing and up to standards, and the customer service is amazing as well. Every time I order through the drive thru, the person on the speaker always has a pleasant attitude and is super nice. My ONLY "complaint" is the wait time, they do take their time but I honestly do not mind considering they never messed up an order of mine. A great lunch spot :)

I love the chicken here! Well-seasoned and just enough batter. I always get the wings.
