Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q

I've been wanting to eat here again but they're an hour from where I live but on this particular day I was riding through.I stepped inside to place an order, the cashier was really nice I placed my order, was told I could wait outside and it would be about 20 mins. A young man came outside with my order calling my name. I wasn't going to check my order but something told me to check it good thing I did two sides were missing. I stepped back inside to let them know, they made it right no questions asked. There were a lot of people eating inside and outside, seating was ample and comfortable. I ordered ribs and chicken which both were flavorful, the ribs were very tender. Collard greens were good. The potato salad was delicious, taste like it was made by a kitchen full of older ladies.The Mac and cheese was just ok. The baked beans were very good. I've eaten here before and would most definitely eat here again.

The 4 star rating may partially be my fault for going to a restaurant an hour before they closed on a holiday.Luckily this wasn't my first time here so I know the experience can be ten times better.This bbq joint gives a very homey feel. Casual eating to say the least. Unfortunately they were out of most items that I wanted because I am one of those people who studies menus.I got a two meat platter with smoked wings and a jalapeño cheddar sausage. The wings were a little dry and the fries were a little stale but again I'll take the blame for going right before they close.Nonetheless the flavor is there! I would definitely recommend going based off my previous experience just get there early lol!

Stopped by this place on our way to the airport. Was hoping it would become a tradition to come here every time we travel, but unfortunately I won't be coming back. The food was very good, although the brisket was dry this time. We've gotten take out from here twice before but this is the first time the brisket comes out dry, so maybe it was just a one time thing?The service though. Oh goodness lol I've never encountered a more unfriendly staff in my entire life. They looked like they couldn't be bothered to do their jobs. I actually apologized to our waitress for bothering her when i asked for onion and pickles. You feel like a burden being there. My two year old daughter had to go to the bathroom, then she wanted to stand and look around a little. She wasn't bothering anyone and wasn't fussy or anything, but we still got dirty looks from two waiters. I was so uncomfortable by that point that i asked to take our food to go, ordered a pie, paid my 110$ bill and left. It's just not worth it. I'd rather go to Moonie's for BBQ since the food is equally good there but the service is much much better. What a disappointment.

This was the first spot my friend and I ate at when visiting Atlanta. Found this spot while doing research via Yelp and Google. The place definitely has a bbq vibe to it, could smell the bbq from the parking lot. Once you enter, you place your order and take a seat in the dining area. Luckily the line was not too long. Ended up getting the brisket (fatty) and rib combo with collards and Mac & cheese ($23) which was solid and very filling. This was my first time trying collard greens and it was really good! Also had to get a Coca Cola ($3). Overall had a really good meal and experience and would highly recommend this bbq spot. * Parking on premise; street parking

While visiting Atlanta, I wanted to try out their equivalent of 4Rivers BBQ in Orlando, so I opted to check out Fox Bros. I will say the concept is the same -- delicious BBQ with a variety of sides. I opted to get the fatty brisket + 2 sides of Mac and cheese and coleslaw. All of the food was delicious with the brisket being the stand out. It barely even needed bbq sauce as it was so flavorful and moist. However, I was not super enthused by the sausage and pimento appetizer. My jalapeño and cheddar sausage was perfect, but the pimento cheese was oddly dry -- not sure I would recommend getting that item. I can't comment on the ambiance at this time as I ordered my food via DoorDash.

I guess I'm use to Texas bbq. This was way too sweet and idk it just wasn't doing what it needed to do! I was so hungry so we ordered a lot.The seasonings and the what not were not great.

Realized I was driving out of Atlanta during what was about to be rush hour and made the wise decision to stop at Fox Brothers to eat some BBQ and kill some time. Glad I did.It's got an old school gritty bbq joint vibe while still being nice and clean. Love that. A bar for the drinkers, tables outside for when the weather is nice, and in my experience a solid crew that's working hard and doing a great job.I'd never been there so I ordered a combo plate with a little pork, a little brisket, and a few ribs. For the sides I got mac and cheese and a frito pie. All of it was great and I had enough there to take a box home. The standouts for me were the frito pie, which is something you never see, and the brisket which was outstanding. I'd order any of it again, but those 2 really hit the spot.Private parking lot, god service, solid plate of bbq for a reasonable price and a bar. That should be everything you need.

We took a table next to a window where we could enjoy the best of both worlds... a view of the outdoor seating area and the comfort of an air conditioned dining area. The ambiance was pleasing, decidely Texas-themed, and the staff was friendly. Service was surprisingly quick.My 2-meat (brisket and ribs) dinner was served with french fries and coleslaw. My meats were smoky, well-seasoned and flavorful. Meat portions were modest, but the portion size of the well-seasoned sides were generous ...I did not feel cheated. The brussel sprouts and salad that my friend ordered with his brisket and ribs looked equally impressive.The meats on two of the three 2-meat dinners we purchased were very good, but the ribs on the dinner we ordered to go was not edible. This cost Fox Bros a rating point. It appears that the chef served from a single rack with the first four bones (large, meaty & juicy) going to my friend, the next four bones (medium, meaty & firm) went to me, and the last four bones (small, dry & tough) went to the to-go meal.

We enjoyed the excellent smoked meats, selection of sauces, drinks, and ambiance! Definitely worth a stop even if it's hard to park. :)

Fox Bros BBQ is the kind of place that immediately wraps you in that cozy, familiar barbecue ambiance. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect--down-to-earth, comfortable, and no-nonsense, setting the stage for the main event: the food.Customer service was solid, nothing extraordinary, but in a barbecue joint, the real star should always be what's on your plate. And Fox Bros delivers on that front. I sampled the ribs, chicken, and pulled pork, each offering a robust, smoky flavor that hits the mark for good barbecue. While it didn't quite knock me off my seat, I can confidently say it's one of the better barbecue spots I've tried in Atlanta.However, not everything was a hit. The greens lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for, and the mac & cheese didn't quite bring the comfort I expected. While the sides didn't wow me, the main dishes more than held their own, making Fox Bros a solid choice for anyone craving good barbecue in the city.
