"First time at this restaurant, GPS took me to the inner corner of the shopping center, but it's on the edge of the building. There was about a 20 minute wait, and it was pretty true to the wait time. Once I got my table I didn't realize I had to order in the front. I eventually ordered my Philly Cheesesteak and it was SUPER good. It was hot and flavorful. The service was excellent. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup. Definitely would like to go back the next time I am in the Arlington area."
"I took my husband here for a special occasion during our vacation with our daughter. He wanted some place a little bit upscale, but sticking with the southern bbq theme which dominated our vacation. The ambiance is upscale rustic with dim lighting without being considered romantic. It was definitely a cool feel. Our server was very nice and attentive answering our questions and even playing with our toddler. Kids were definitely welcome here even though it clearly wasn't their marketed crowd. We sat at a booth and ordered a few drinks and appetizer to start. We got the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely delicious! The breading was crispy and the bacon jam enhanced the salty/savory flavor profile. We were incredibly surprised by how good they were. For my entree, I got the baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone with smokey, savory flavors. It was very good. It was very good and came with sides of cornbread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was standard good, but the cornbread was delicious. The perfect pairing of sweet and savory while being moist. It was very good! Plus, you got all that food for around $23. I was left feeling very full. During our dinner, I had to use the bathroom and everything was clean and well maintained. You know if the bathrooms are clean, they must care about cleanliness. We were very happy with our time here and I recommend if you are in the area."

"I don't visit my friends and family in Mansfield often (it's been 10 years), and we try different places but Our Place is the only place we have breakfast. The ambiance is delightfully cozy. They've freshed and expanded it in the decade since I was last there; all my favorite decor items were still there, still fresh looking among the newer things. And they all looked so good together. The wait staff is friendly and prompt and super helpful. And the food is always good. The last time I was there - 10 years ago - I had the pancakes and eggs with bacon and I still remember it. A whole decade later. Good food. They've changed the menu slightly but all my favorites are still there. This time, we ate there twice. Saturday morning, I chose the Texas Waffle plate, with eggs and bacon. And this time, they served the coffee in pottery mugs, lovely large pottery mugs. And they sold them. I got the dark blue one and will enjoy it and the memory of the people working there - hopefully not for another whole decade. I might return sooner. But until then, I have the lovely mug.We also ate there Sunday, before I returned home. This time, I had one of hte mini breakfasts - 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon, and 1 biscuit - plenty to see me off on my return journey. As always - delightful waitstaff, prompt, helpful, friendly, and the food hot and fresh, well prepared and delicious. The best parts haven't changed in a decade and I hope they last decades longer."
"Yes. Resounding yes! Stellar food, great value. Still want to try their burger at lunchtime on Friday. The port chop is the star of the show. Everything is done very well. Never a disappointment in all the times I have been."
"HG Sply is in a nice location on the banks of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, just off the Chisholm Trail Parkway. They have an interesting menu with minimally processed, responsibly sourced food. Burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, bowls and heartier dishes with meat, fish and sides. They have a nice cocktail menu, too, that changes seasonally. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, and you can park for free next to the restaurant in the garage."
"This was the best meal I had in Fort Worth. The steak was amazing. The sides were delicious and they have an extensive wine selection. I hosted a private event here and they let me bring a long horn on site for the guests. It was amazing"
"Service was good and the portion sizes are definitely Texas made. The front door was super weird though, took us a little bit to figure out that was the entrance. The food was also on the salty side. The brussel sprouts were my favorite thing I ate, I could've just eaten those by themselves."
"One of the best bars in FW!I went in early on a Friday for lunch! It was quiet and slow, and the bartender was fantastic!! Knowledgeable and friendly!Upon his recommendation I tried the Potion #9. Think blueberry lemonade, and you cannot really taste the alcohol, but man... it's there! Excellent balance!I had the Pot Stickers for an app, and they were great! Crispy fried on the side, and full of flavor! Would highly recommend! For my lunch I had an Aussie & a Viet Philly pie! The Viet Philly pie was pretty fantastic, and I really enjoyed it. The crust was light and flaky, and it was full of delicious filling and caramelized onions! The Aussie pie was closer to a cheeseburger filling, and tied as my favorite! It was a different flavor, but I really enjoyed it!For a quick lunch, this place nailed it!5 STARS"
"If you've seen my previous reviews you know I am a big fan of Tavern. I rarely eat a sandwich or burger, etc. because ... bread... Carbs. LOL. But I love bread, sammies, and burgers of any and every sort. Today because I was particularly hungry I was weak and opted for the French Dip. LOL. I love French Dips. This was good, but not up to what I would have expected from Tavern. I loved the way in which it was sliced into three manageable sections (two of which went home!). What was missing for me was the robust, rich, beefy flavor I'm hoping for in a French Dip sandwich. I would love to see more cheese, more mayo and a much, much more robust and flavorful au jus. The flavors just did not sing. But I made a discovery that is going to prove problematic for me on future visits. The French fries. Damn. I cannot undiscover this. LOL. These this are so ridiculously, crazy good. Wow. Thin cut, crispy, perfectly seasoned. So good! Finish them while they're hot."
"Take out deliveryEverything came in the order and packed well. Had the Manhattan Bowl and the Chicken Bowl, and a side of Garlic Fries Both were really good and just the right spice on each dish. It was more than enough for two people. Even had left overs. I recommend this place for take out and I plan on ordering from there again soon."
"Absolutely loved this place, will definitely be visiting again! It's industrial chic inside, think cement and brick dressed up with leather booths and warm wood. The bar is beautiful! My friends and I started with cocktail flights, all delicious (the Kitty Coley and Old Fashioned were my favorite). We split Mac n cheese, a tenderloin grilled cheese and the shakshuka. The food was great (portions were a bit small but big flavor).Tito took care of us, he was very attentive and friendly. The manager also checked in, all around great service!"
"The best fried rice I've ever eaten in my entire life The food quality's consistently, the staffs are always friendly and helpful I have took most of my friends/family members to this every time someone paid us a visit"

From the moment you enter into Bay 34th Street Dinner - you realize that you've found something special. You're greeted by their wonderful staff that embody the homey feeling of this cafe! Lamar is usually up at the front, his personality and kindness will keep you smiling the whole time. The building itself is small but the service and table turn around is quick - you have indoor and patio options. They can handled large groups but it is busy inside so be mindful of how long you nest. You do need to order up at the front and they have a To-Go line as well. Lastly the kitchen - it's clean and truly maneuvers like an old school dinner. They have multiple people in the kitchen and you do not wait long for your food. Everything comes out hot and off the stove! I've been coming here for a while now, it's always my first choice in the mornings. Give this place a shot - they are more than worth your visit :)

Stopped by for weekend brunch and we had a really nice time! I can't remember our server's name, but he was a lovely college man with a great attitude. I started with a delicious Guava Jalapeno Margarita. Highly recommend as it was very refreshing in the hot summer weather. Foodwise, tried the following: Mini Elk Tacos - very tasty, but I would never be able to tell it was elk if the menu didn't say it was. The other flavors covered the elk too much making it a bit disappointing.Barbacoa Chilaquiles - the absolute worst chilaquiles my guy and I have ever had in our lives. Extremely soggy chips, which is unfortunate because the barbacoa was delicious. We actually ended up sending it back because it was too gross to eat (note: this is definitely not how chilaquiles should be despite what the kitchen staff says).Wagyu Pastrami Hash - this was insanely good! Such a unique and delicious dish! We could not get enough of it. The flavors were perfectly balanced and complimented one another in every way. Would come back here for the guava jalapeno margarita and the wagyu pastami hash for sure!

Our Place is located off Debbie near the FM 157 in Mansfield, serving great breakfast and brunch in a lovely environment with plentiful food choices for the whole family. We visited this fine establishment on a Sunday right after the brunch rush and had to wait a couple of minutes in the waiting area to be seated. The interior is well decorated, and there is an abundance of tables and chairs to sit at for families and large groups. We were seated, and our drink orders were placed along with menus that were provided to our table. We went ahead and ordered a black coffee to start the day off right along with the chicken fried chicken that came with vegetable soup and a choice of 2 sides. We also ordered pancakes, bacon, and 2 over medium eggs. We ordered a kids' plate of macaroni and cheese and fries. Our server came and brought a basket of freshly baked bread with muffins. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly battered and deep-fried golden to perfection. It was smothered in a creamy gravy, and the chicken was well-seasoned and moist. The vegetable soup was flavorful and complemented the dish very well. The bacon was crispy while the pancakes were fluffy and soft. The eggs were cooked just right with the perfect amount of ooze coming from the yolks. The macaroni and cheese was definitely cheesy, and my daughter enjoyed the dish quite well. The star of the show was the baked bread and muffins. They were nice and warm and airey, and I found myself devouring every piece of bread along with the churned butter. Our Place was a terrific place to eat for a Sunday brunch, and our family enjoyed it very much. The customer service provided was top-notch, while the staff worked effortlessly to get guests in and seated. The food quality and service were outstanding, and the prices were fair and affordable. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something new but most of all to get my hands on the freshly baked bread.

Highly recommend Perry's for any special occasion--a birthday, an anniversary, or even if you're just looking to impress that date. This place will not disappoint. The staff is attentive, the service flawless, and you'll want for nothing during your visit. As a self-proclaimed steak snob who can cook better steak than 90% of restaurants in DFW, I can confidently say Perry's is in the top 10%. Their steaks are phenomenal. Order one medium rare, and you're in for a treat--it's that good. The wine pairings are equally impressive. It's clear the staff is well-trained to recommend the perfect pairing, and they absolutely nail it every time.I highly recommend Perry's for an unforgettable dining experience.Also....dont sleep on the sea food. That sea food tower is down to impress. If pasture food isn't your thing....pull something out of the sea. It's all good.

Love this place. The food always feels so fresh and when they open up the windows on a nice sunny day, it's an outstanding place to stay for a long lunch. I've never had a bad experience here; the servers are top notch.Today I had The Fried Rice bowl with quinoa "meatballs." It's my favorite thing there. I've tried to duplicate it at home to no avail.

We absolutely loved everything! I mean the food was amazing and the service and ambience was great! Our waiter Shawn was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and very polite! Everyone who was involved in our evening was very helpful, friendly and professional! The head chef Tom Felt's came to our table and it turned out that he is from our hometown and on top of that we graduated from the same college! You will not be disappointed and it is definitely an experience you will always remember!I tried kangaroo, rattlesnake and rabbit! My other half had the Montana Bison Ribeye, Fried Smoked Gouda Gnocchi, LD Hollandaise and I had the Roasted Garlic Stuffed Beef Tenderloin, Western Plaid Hash, Grilled Asparagus. We also split the Diver Scallops, Fall Veggies, Risotto, Tobiko Caviar, Beurre Blanc. And for dessert our table split the following TUACA-CAPPUCCINO FLANChocolate Espresso BeansWARM ANCHO CHILE CHOCOLATE CAKEVanilla Ice Cream, Smoked Almond BrittleAnd Strawberry Cheesecake.Absolutely delicious!

What a spectacular dining experience! We had the pleasure of having an amazing meal last night at NS in Addison (I have also loved my visits to the Oak Lawn and Lovers Ln locations)The food was incredible (the shrimp and grits are my favorite and the chocolate brownie is to die for), the cocktails were created by a talented mixologist, and the staff is outstanding. Many thanks to Nammi (management), Mike (manager) and Edward (server). We felt pampered all evening. I have traveled the world and have had many fine dining experiences, but this was one of my favorite! Nammi explained to me that they call it Neighborhood Services because they want to be part of the community and they treat their guests like they were close neighbors, and that certainly comes through in their warm interactions and their high level of service. It is now my go-to place!

Love this restaurant! Tons of fun games, good drinks, a great place to hang out with friends or for a date night! Went here for a birthday party recently. Not a bad time :) Service is good, they have people who will recommend games to you! Even teach you how to play.

"Food was pricy but you get what you pay for and we got far more in quality, service and ambiance than we paid for. We will be going back and we are all looking forward to it. Thanks for the quality of food and friendliness of staff that was shown to us on our first time visit. As I said, we will be back!"
"We absolutely adore the original chop shop. It is so good so fresh and so delicious they make some of the very best sandwiches. I always go for the green power drink kale number four. I think it's so good so fresh I have them shove a whole lemon in there it's delicious, very friendly"
"Come hungry! Portions here are very generous and filling -- I thought prices were fair for the amount of food of you get. We ordered the Cowboy Cobb Salad, Tostada Chips & Queso, Firebird, Hand-punched Fries, and a Chocolate Milkshake. Everything was pretty good! I especially liked how generous the Cowboy Cobb was -- it was my entire entree, but I had to share with it my husband because of how much food there was. My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich very much -- it was pretty spicy; and a mess to eat. Queso was actually a bit too salty, so we couldn't eat too much of it, but the milkshake really balanced it out. It was really hot when we came, so we couldn't sit outside, but there were tables and high-tops inside to choose from. The decorations and theme were super fun -- it was loud and casual. Service was the weak point of this experience. It was self-seating, so it kinda felt like we were initially ignored or forgotten by the staff, even after smiling, making eye contact, and waving at someone. It looked like there were a lot of waitstaff, but only one gentleman (Tramaine) was running around and helping the tables. He took our order and checked up on us periodically, so he was actually great; but I'm not even sure if we were technically in his section because it felt like he was running around the entire restaurant and I remember thinking that the others should be helping more. As a result, service was a bit slow; but I can't fault Tramaine for that as it was a pretty busy evening. Overall, it was a good experience! We really enjoyed the food and thought the theming was nice. The restaurant is also located in a nice plaza where you can walk around afterwards to get some fresh air and digest. LOL."
"My wife and sister decided to go out for a Valentine's Day lunch before we took in a movie and the nearby theater. All three of us love Doc b's and we hadn't dined with them for quite a while. Fortunately we had made reservations prIor to our visit. Since it was Valentine's Day we knew they'd probably be busy. Since we were there for lunch, it wasn't too crowded. After being greeted very warmly, we were shown to our table. Kiera, a lovely server, took our drink orders and let us know that Jeremy would be taking care of us. After we received out drinks, our server Jeremy introduced himself and asked if we needed any recommendations or questions about the menu. After looking at the menu, we all decided on our Valentine's Day entrees. My sister was drawn to "The Number Six" which consisted of Cajun buttermilk chicken with two slices of pickle with roasted garlic dressing and habanero-honey sauce. She decided on sweet potato fries as her side. My wife ordered a traditional hamburger with all the fixin's with ketchup and French mustard. My wife decided on regular fries for her side. I decided to splurge and opted for the "West Coast Steak Sandwich." On a toasted bun it included a 6 ounce center cut beef filet on an artisan roll with Parmigiano Reggiano, topped with kale slaw and pickled red onion. It sounded fantastic. I decided on the sweet potato fries for my side just like my sister. Jeremy comments on our selections that we choose well.As we waited on our entrees we discused the wonderful service we were receiving. There was a placquard on our table with the title "Cake for a Cause." With every slice of cake $5 would be donated to the "American Brain Tumor Association" in remembrance of Doc B. I kept looking at it pondering if we should share a piece of "Rob's Double Decker Chocolate Cake." The picture looked very decadent. During our wait, Ben, the restaurant's General Manager stopped by our table for a visit. He lingered at our table asking how everything was going and if there was anything we needed. I also asked him about Rob's chocolate cake. He said it is SO good. After the visit with Ben, our entrees started arriving. Wow, the presentation was so beautiful. Our sweet potato fries were stacked like a log cabIn. What an incredible idea. As a former restaurant professional, early on, I learned that the presentation on the plate is as important as the taste and preparation of the food. We were all looking at our entrees not wanting to ruin the image were we viewing. On to our entrees! My wife and sister had smiles on their faces as they started enjoying the beautiful food on their platters. My wife said her burger was one of the best she'd ever had. The same went for my sister's chicken sandwich. My steak sandwich made with filet mignon was, oh my gosh, an upscale party in my mouth after taking the first bite. It was SO delicious and one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The sweet potato fires were prepared perfectly, a bit crisp on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside. We were ALL so full and decided not to order cake until Ben and Jeremy came by letting us know Doc B's would love us to have a complimentary piece of cake. How can one refuse an offer like that? Jeremy brought us a piece of "Rob's Double Decker Chocolate Cake" which was topped with chocolate sauce and crispy wafers. Then the unexpected happened Jermey said what about a glass of cold milk? He said you've got to have a glass of cold milk with chocolate cake. The cold milk was served in very cold glasses. What an incredible gesture on the restaurant's part. What an incredible memorable visit was had to Doc B's! It's be a Valentine's Day we'll never forget. Thank you Kiera, Jeremy and Ben for an incredible visit to Doc B's. We'll be customers for life."
"Great food, the menu is limited and pricey but items always taste great. Get a shareable board or chips--they're all amazing. The wine list is extensive! There are other drinks but I cannot go here and not get my favorite wine, F Bomb. This is the only place I've ever seen have it. They do take reservations which I highly recommend. The inside doesn't have much seating. The patio has a great ambiance. Sometimes there's live music. End your night outside with a s'mores board!"
"This is a very elegant restaurant. Before you even visit the place, please set a reservation because it gets busy during the weekends and parking is only reserved for the restaurant. People will be towed if you arent a guest and you park in their exclusive parking lot. The menu is very simple and the food is delicious! The burger with bacon mixed in the patty made me question its safety. Pork is supposed to be cooked to 165F and having a burger with bacon mixed in that's not well done (or cooked to 165F) could be a health risk since the server asked us how we wanted our burger cooked. Maybe yall can answer this question? Overall, besides food safety, my group and I had phenomenal food! Our server was patient and took her time to repeat our orders back to her. The cherry on top was the carrot cake which was incredible!! It's homemade. Not too sweet; absolute perfection! Overall, this is a good place to dine."
"Aaron was our server very attentive, the food was delicious, we had the Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans.... We were celebrating our grandsons birthday, he had the Bison Meatloaf, it was yummy as well. They brought him a slice of cake with a sparkler!!! Nice!! Will definitely return!!! Great decor!"
"Quality of food and service. Our host even gave us recommendations from the menu and desserts. The coconut pie is delicious!"
"The new "seed oil free" menu is awesome! Saw a recommendation on Seed Oil Scout App and went to the one on Fort Worth. The crispy tuna is amazing. Love the Sopas, the crispy chicken sandwich, the salmon tacos and more. Great service and all three locations had awesome dining options inside and out! One of my new favorite places to eat!"
"Wonderful place for a group lunch. Restaurant provided great service and recommendations to our large lunch group. We enjoyed queso to start and and I chose a salad for my entree. The presentation was beautiful and the food was even better! Would definitely recommend."
"When i first moved to TX, i really wanted to check this place out. We actually rented an Airbnb for a few weeks before settling down in FW and the airbnb was walking distance from this restaurant. First off, i don't think you're allowed to park in the small parking lot. It's 100% valet. There's street parking if you want, but the valet is complementary and they work off tips. We made reservations, which i would recommend. We ended up getting the Grilled bone marrow, smoked salmon rillettes, prime beef tartare for the starters. We added one burrata salad and get the grilled duck breast to share between two people. We also ordered a side of carrots and finished the night with a strawberry cheesecake. Even though, the bone marrow was listed as one of the favorite items, i think i would skip it next time. It was really greasy and for the amount of marrow you get, i don't think it was really worth it. The star of the show was the burrata salad and the duck breast. The salad was really simple and the duck breast was juicy and tender. I also really enjoyed the carrots with goat cheese. The service was great, and they kept coming by asking if we needed anything and kept our drinks full.Definitely recommend checking this place out for a night out or a special occasion."
"This is an awesome spot to play yard games in the air conditioning and has solid drink options. They have a pay lot next door for parking. Indoors there's corn hole, large format connect 4, air hockey, basketball shooting, pool, etc. Nice bartenders."
"If you're looking for that country cooking that makes you are sitting around your grandmothers kitchen table, this is it. The building itself could use some updating but the service and food make up for it. Our lunch was a large party and they easily accommodated us and were stellar at keeping up with all our wants and needs. The food was hot and tasty. We ordered for the table chicharrones and salsa and I loved it. Great switch from the usual tortilla chips. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. Perfectly cooked and crispy. Will definitely return the next time I'm in Weatherford."
"We came here to celebrate a special event with a friend and his family. There was about 30 of us and they set us up in a banquet room with a set menu. They served the children first which I really appreciate because they can be a handful if not taken care of. The event had a cash bar and the bartender was a master of his trade making some amazing old fashioneds. He also recommended a great wine. Metler Zinfandel. We had a choice between chicken, fish or steak. I opted for the steak which was cooked perfectly medium rare. The Brussels sprouts were charred very badly and so was not so great. They brought several rounds of appetizers to the table and they were all great. The service was great here. I'd like to try the regular menu some time. Give this place a try they do good."
"I walked in here not knowing I needed a reservation (or that my friend booked one) and the hostess kind of looked at me like ..."okay well you need a reservation." I was also a bit underdressed as I didn't know it was a "real table cloth" kind of place, but my shorts and tshirt were fine. Once my friend got there and gave the reservation name, the hostess apologized to my friend because there would be a 10- 15 or so minute wait beyond of scheduled time. We sat on the patio and just chatted. The prices were a bit high, but that's to be expected for a steak-like house with farm to table options. The menu is ever-revolving so it may be different when you return. I just got a wine and a ceasar salad and they both were fine, nothing crazy. We got complimentary jalepeno cornbread in a tin can which was pretty good -- very light and airy with a little kick if you bite a pepper just right. Our waitress was fine, my friend didn't get carded for his drink but I did haha. They had the Olympics on which I appreciated because that place didn't strike me as a typically having sports on in the background. All in all, it would be a nice little place for a date if you want to shell out some money. The couple next to us got a chef's 4 course menu and the only reason I know that is because the tables are jammed in there so tight you're almost at 2 tables at once. But like I said, go there if you want to show off to a date that you spend a little more on them."
"I always get great food and great service at cheer point. This visit was no exception. Started with what knot, main entree of blackened chicken with angel hair creme pasta, finished with bread pudding with cognac based bead sauce."
"I had an early morning physician's appointment in the medical district. Since it was breakfast time, we decided to drop by one of our fav places for breakfast, Paris Coffee Shop. Each time customers come in, it's like they're family. All are warmly welcomed. We were happy parking was available and there was no wait because my wife and I were both hungry. Both of us ordered the two-egg breakfast. My wife decided on scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I ordered over easy eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, biscuit and a side of grits. I love grits at breakfast. Of course, piping hot coffee was ordered. What's breakfast without coffee? Our breakfast platters arrived quickly. Paris Coffee Shop has some awesome short order cook who have perfected their craft. Both of our platters were served and cooked to perfection. Yummy breakfast. Thank you, Paris Coffee Shop for an awesome visit."
"Amazing flavors! The chef really knocked it out of the park! Staff is helpful and friendly. Surprisingly quiet lol but very beautiful inside. The lighting is gentle and the music isn't too loud."
"Date night at Winslow's! We came the eve of New years Eve and it was busy. Luckily, we got a table close to their wood fire brick oven, which added to the ambiance. It was happy hour, so I ordered the truffle fries and the pecan seasonal old fashion. We also ordered the meatballs, bbq pizza, and a glass of Robert Hall Cabernet. My old fashion was way too sweet. Our waitress told me it was sweet, so I asked for them to make it less sweet. Unfortunately, I had to ask for them to remake it. Later, I found on the bill that I was charged the full amount for the drink instead of the happy hour price. My husband's cabernet was delightful. The truffle fries were crisp and full of truffle flavor. The meatballs were truly the best I've had in years. Packed with Italian seasoning, juicy and tender, and then smothered in the best marinara sauce. The waitress asked us if we wanted more bread for the sauce, and we said yes. Later, I found out we were charged $2 for the extra bread. Our pizza arrived next, and oh my gosh, it was awesome. The jalapeño was spicy, haha, but I really enjoyed the heat. We did have a side of ranch to help, and I needed it. Every jalapeño is different, so it might be different for you, but try it as it was made first and then decide to take off the jalapeños.Lastly, we got a lemon and blueberry bread pudding to go. It is the reason I'm writing this review. It was the best damn bread pudding I've had in my life. Creamy, soft, and balanced in flavor. The mint and lemon make this usually overly sweet and heavy dessert to be comforting and refreshing. Hats off to the chef!Overall, go have a date night at Winslow's. They have delicious bites that will surely make you happy, and if that doesn't do it, the wine will."
"After living in the DFW area for a decade, we finally made our way to Velvet Taco this past Saturday evening.Overall, the food tasted great but there were some hiccups for sure.Service- 1/5 star. They forgot to give us the queso we ordered as an appetizer. The family in front of us got theirs... but ours they just forgot? I had to ask when picking up our tacos from the counter.Additionally, the tables were GROSS. What a mess. Literally it was as if they never cleaned. We watched one woman ask them to clean her table and honestly, i dont blame her.Food- 4/5 stars. The food tasted fresh, but man was it messy. It fell apart without any plates to catch the food coming out of the loaded tacos. We saw others putting down paper towels on the tables to catch the mess and they had the right idea. Just a waste of the fillings that fell out.I got two tacos and my husband got three along with queso to share. Next time we know that its wayyy too much food- haha. I will stick with one taco and queso and he said he would only have two.We both agreed the #12 brisket taco was by far THE BEST. My husband also liked the paneer taco a lot. We also enjoyed the queso blanco with the blue corn chips too.We look forward to trying it again! (And to note, this is far superior to Torchy's in quality)."
"This family owned business is well loved by the locals, me included. They have fun events and support the community. BUT, the FOOD!!!!! There isn't anything I've tried that I didn't like. I love the tots but then I loved the fries more and then I tried the onion rings! Look out sweet tater fries cuz you're my next addiction! The best fun is you can adjust any item to your liking. Tots topped like a pizza, nachos but with fries underneath. Burgers, chicken and even the grilled cheese and PB&jalepeno jelly are all worth tasting. So you'd better come often. Jerry often has new additions and specials that you don't want to miss!!!"
"This is my second time coming here, first time didn't yelp it . It's a very nice establishment located in what was an old inn. The parking is very small but there is plenty of street parking. It was pretty packed but we got seated very quickly inside and they also offer outside seating as well. The menu was just the right size offering breakfast and lunch options as well as a chef special. I opted for the soup du jour which for that day had chicken breast and vegetables in it. I also had the crab cake eggs Benedict and that was delicious. Damn bear licked the plate. It was quiet inside and made it easy to have a conversation with any sized group you may have."
"If you want to visit a place that's on par with the fine dining outfits in Dallas, head here. The food is great. We usually sit at the bar and do apps and a bottle of wine. Oh, if you like wine - you need to come here. Their list is EXTENSIVE."
